Kiersa was an invaluable part of our wedding planning process and played a huge role in making our wedding day feel effortless, seamless, and truly stress-free. From our first conversations, her energy was exactly what we were looking for—calm, approachable, and laid-back, while also giving us complete confidence that every detail was under control and that our vision would come to life.

On the wedding day itself, Kiersa and her team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran perfectly. As I was planning a wedding from out of town, I wanted to find a coordinator who could steer me towards local Asheville vendors while also staying in my budget. I was immediately put at ease during my consult phone call with Kiersa. Even before we selected her as our coordinator, she provided me with some vendor lists and contacts so we could fully research before making our decision. She was very thoughtful and understanding when planning our zoom meetings around my work schedule and was able to meet and plan with vendors while my now husband and I were at work! Her extensive experience at the Biltmore and Asheville led to the most beautiful and stress free wedding day!

A+ wedding planning team

Kiersa and her team did an absolutely outstanding job planning our wedding weekend and making it a very special and memorable event for us and our guests. They were with us through many ups and downs—a hurricane that postponed our original wedding date, a tragic death in the family—and their unending kindness, patience, and thoughtfulness was truly a godsend without which we wouldn’t have been able to pull it off. Kiersa and her team were so attentive to our needs and wishes throughout the planning process and worked seamlessly with our vendors—many of whom came to us on Kiersa’s recommendation. She listened and understood the kind of atmosphere we wanted to create for the weekend and brought creative and helpful ideas to the table that made our vision come to life. Throughout the weekend Kiersa and her team were on the ground and masterfully orchestrated the run of show, calmly guiding us through the craziness and the intermittent bouts of heavy rain too! Jenn (Events by Kiersa) Should Always Be Your First Pick

From the initial phone call, I knew Events by Kiersa was the perfect choice--I had spoken to several experienced and successful wedding coordinators--just from the energy and connection, I knew the best fit would be working with Jenn from Events by Kiersa.

Jenn made the planning process extremely simple and with minimal stressors (of course there would be some nuisances to conquer on my end, what bride isn't stressed when it comes to wedding planning?!) and not only that, but Jenn also provided solutions to any anxieties I had. We made game plans for the possible to the impossible, whether or not they'd manifest into reality; Jenn had it handled.

Other than being phenomenally professional, kind, and overall fun to work with, Jenn's organizational skills are impeccable, down to a tee. We worked on filling in each blank in a time-based priority, and I didn't feel pressure because of it. Each meeting provided answers and options, and if there were any answers she wasn't able to provide, Jenn was quick to find them and report back with her findings.

As my wedding day approached, Jenn locked in and secured all final details and was extremely thorough with our plan, and most importantly, made sure I was comfortable with the schedule/timing, layout, and checked in to make sure I was more excited than overwhelmed.

My husband and I couldn't have had a more perfect wedding, and Jenn from Events by Kiersa is to thank for that. By the end of that day, I felt like I was losing a friend because we had connected so closely! For my next event, I will absolutely be contacting Events by Kiersa again, because I know my party and I will be well taken care of, and treated like family.

Kiersa made the complex flow simply!

We had an outdoor wedding with outside vendors required for every little thing! Kiersa had insights and relationships that helped guide our choices. Her deep relationships in Asheville meant everyone already knew her and were happy to work with her.

For us? She was calm, positive, encouraging and fun throughout the planning process. And on wedding weekend she and her team worked hard, I know, but we never saw them worry or sweat. Everything went off seamlessly!

Kiersa helped us create an incredible event filled with many beautiful moments. It was a very involved wedding day, but she made it go smoothly. Absolutely Amazing!

Kiersa was Amazing! She guided us month by month leading up to the wedding and helped us stay focused on the planning details. As wedding day approached, we increased our cadence for planning calls. Kiersa understands all the little details that are needed to create a successful event. We could not have done this without her. Additionally, we had an outdoor wedding planned and an unexpected thunderstome rolled in right at wedding time. Asheville NC Wedding Planner Worth Every Penny!

Our daughter accepted a marriage proposal in January 2023 and we were thrilled! As the search for venues and available dates began, they settled on JUNE 2023! YAY, but EEeeekkk!!! We had a very short time table to plan a wedding, PLUS we needed someone in Asheville where the wedding would be because we do not live in the area.
Finding Kiersa Kamszik, with Events by Kiersa, was a big relief! She was calm while also showing enthusiasm throughout the process. She put us at ease with regular check-ins and organized our ideas with spreadsheets and checklists. She offered creative suggestions along with pros/cons of each so we could weigh the options as we made decisions.
She is personable, professional, warm and energetic and is excellent about following through! Her 16 + years’ experience in the Asheville event planning arena was a huge asset as she had worked with most of the other vendors with whom we contracted. Her work with us for six months was worth every penny, allowing us to be able to focus on our family and guests without concern for all the details! Kiersa’s absolutely lovely and we HIGHLY recommend Events by Kiersa for all your event planning needs!

Incredible Wedding Planning - Look No Further

We had an absolutely amazing experience working with Events by Kiersa to plan our wedding at The Farm a Gathering Place in Asheville. We worked very closely with Jenn for a full year leading up to our wedding, and we were very lucky and grateful to have the amazing dynamic duo of Jenn and Kiersa both present with us on our big day. When looking back at everything we spent money on, choosing to work with Events by Kiersa was hands-down the best investment we made in the wedding planning process. It was very comforting knowing that Jenn knew everyone in the Asheville wedding planning scene, which made choosing and working with vendors easy and seamless. The high level of organization, communication, and professionalism that Jenn and Kiersa possess is unmatched. We developed so much trust in Jenn and Kiersa that I was not stressed or worried about anything at all on our wedding day because I knew they had all the big and little details covered. Perfect Day!!!!

I am beyond happy we chose Events by Kiersa for our month of/day of planning! We got married in May 2022 and worked with Jenn, who is a total rock star!!! Jenn was on top of it and for a Type A bride such as myself – I was relieved to give the reins to Jenn who made everything happen SO smoothly. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing on the wedding day and she handled all of the details. Jenn had such a calming presence and a “make it happen” mentality. My family and friends kept commenting on how incredible she was.

During the planning, Kiersa & Jenn provided a google sheet checklist (that was my saving grace), answered any questions we had and provided insights into vendors they’ve worked with. During the month of, we worked on a flow sheet for the wedding day that I was able to provide to our wedding party and family so everyone knew where they needed to be! For our rehearsal - Jenn met us in downtown Asheville the night before with our party to rehearse and collected anything that was needed . For cleanup, she packed our cars to be picked up the morning after, put my bridal bouquet in water and just overall made our lives so much easier following the wedding.

So glad we hired Kiersa!

We had a 65 person wedding with a small bridal party & an inclusive venue. Kiersa is the best!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Kiersa! We got married at The Farm in November and we and basically all of our guests were coming from out of town. We had started planning with Kiersa back in fall of 2019. Needless to say, a lot of things changed in that time, including a significant reduction in guest count and moving everything outdoors to be as safe as possible. Kiersa was amazing throughout the process. Obviously, things were in flux for a while and we didn't even know if we could or would move forward. Kiersa was great about talking through our options, getting the info we needed from our vendors (which we had literally booked so far in advance because I am crazy!) and helping us navigate the turbulence of planning a wedding in a pandemic. She has a very calming demeanor which was very appreciated and complimented my anxiety well. In the end, we had a smallish wedding with a lot of safety protocols but also a lot of fun and it went incredibly well as a direct result of having an amazing planner. If you're looking for a planner in Asheville, seriously look no further.

Stop scrolling & contact Kiersa! If you want a smooth & uncomplicated process contact Kiersa! My husband and I had a small "destination" wedding in mind, everyone invited would have to travel. We are NC residents but we live on the other side of the state and we knew that being unfamiliar with the area was going to be a challenge when it came to planning. Additionally we are both really busy work wise. Kiersa took care of everything!!! She really took the time understand our vision. She was always available and timely with responses. She was really the cornerstone to our wedding I don't even know how she coordinated everything but our wedding day was perfect & exactly what we envisioned. Caring, organized, and a great network

Kiersa did an amazing job helping us from A-Z with planning our wedding and rehearsal dinner during all the wild times of the pandemic. She listened carefully to all of our hopes and dreams for the wedding and helped put in place a great team of vendors to make it happen. When we needed to change events and vendors, she used her extensive network to help us find the right way ahead. She established her own communications with each vendor to ensure that everyone was on the same page. We were so relieved in the last few weeks to have Kiersa at the final meetings to guide the process and remind us of some details that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. Kiersa's staff members Jenn and Kristy provided day-of coordination since she had already been booked at other events and they worked seamlessly with Kiersa and us and gave a calm, caring presence throughout. Couldn't have been better!

When my daughter got engaged last October and we first spoke about what she and her fiance envisioned for their wedding, she mentioned that her friend who is an event planner had offered to be her wedding planner. My response…. I had waited a long time to plan my oldest daughter’s wedding, so no thank you! I enjoyed every minute of helping create the Asheville, NC mountain wedding of their dreams; together, finding the venue, caterer, florist, photographer, entertainment, etc. and creating all the little details. But, oh my, what about the BIG DAY? Who was going to make it all come together seamlessly so that we could relax and enjoy this special occasion? Events by Kiersa did just that. Jennifer, our “day of coordinator” hopped on board weeks before the wedding to organize all of the vendors and on the day of the wedding made sure that we could all forget about the details and enjoy every minute. Jenn seemed to be everywhere at once making sure the ceremony site and reception were arranged perfectly as planned while calmly steaming the wedding gown, pinning boutonnieres, and orchestrating a very special first look for the bride and groom. Thank you to Kiersa for having Jenn work her magic for us. The day certainly would not have been so perfect without her.

Dream Wedding for an Out of State Bride!

As an out of state bride I could not recommend Events by Keirsa enough! Seriously!! We had the pleasure of working with Jenn throughout our wedding planning process. Jenn as a person is the perfect balance of laid back, efficiency, and professionalism. Jenn helped make planning a wedding from out of state, and on a shorter time frame, a breeze. She is incredibly easy talk to, and she was very responsive to emails and phone calls. I never felt like I was bothering her with questions or concerns. She has a gift of making a frazzled bride feel more at ease. Most of the vendors we used for our wedding were all at the suggestion of Jenn. She has this easy way of giving you suggestions and ideas while still giving you the absolute freedom to create the wedding of your dreams, which is so important in a wedding planner. The day of the wedding I got multiple compliments from the wedding party of how easy Jenn was to work with. Kiersa was hands down the best decision we made for who we wanted to work with for our wedding.

Kiersa and Jenn are absolutely wonderful to work with and we did not worry about a single detail on our big day because of them. We chose a venue way out near Nantahala River that is not set up as a venue at all. In fact, they don't normally even host weddings or large events! Kiersa shared our vision for how beautiful the location would be for our wedding from the very first walkthrough. From that moment on, she was steady and confident and planned every last detail. Power, tables, tents, chairs, food, guest seating, layout and logistics were all taken care of by Kiersa and her fantastic team. We were particularly touched when we saw Kiersa personally working to set up everything beautifully the morning of, and out late until midnight with a headlamp breaking down and cleaning up.

Kiersa made our time planning the wedding a joy and we will really miss working with her and planning together! Choose events by Kiersa- it will be the best decision you make!

I could NOT have done it without them!

Kiersa and Jenn worked on our wedding. It was the best investment we made. The planning process was so smooth and they took care of all the nitty gritty work so we could just enjoy our wedding. When my husband was stung by a wasp walking inside from the ceremony, Jenn was right there with a bag of ice and a plan. I could not recommend them more!

Events by Kiersa went above and beyond to make our big day so special! I was planning my Asheville wedding from out of town and Kiersa and her team's guidance throughout the process was an absolute necessity. Her knowledge of the industry and in town vendors was so critical during wedding planning and the day of event. Kiersa helped us come up with creative ideas to meet the vision of our big day and we heavily relied on her industry experience to make every decision related to our wedding (and believe me there were a lot of decisions to be made! :)) Kiersa attended all of the meetings we had with our venue prior to our wedding day. Amazing team from start to finish!

Best money we spent on our wedding, hands down. Kiersa and Jenn were indispensable in making our wedding day come together perfectly. They were with us every step of the planning process, and having them to check over details, offer their ideas and immense expertise, and come up with great ways for our vision to come to life made our day fantastic.

When the weekend of our wedding arrived, I felt like no detail went unnoticed by Kiersa and her team! They took care of every piece of our day so we and our families and bridal party could relax and focus on being present and enjoying the day! I can't count the number of times we said "Kiersa is the best money we spent!" She made what could have been a stressful mess (we were planning a destination wedding on top of pretty demanding jobs) warm, beautiful and relaxed--our dream wedding. The Wedding Planner of Our Dreams

We cannot say enough good things about Events by Kiersa. Kiersa and her team are amazing! They have a variety of different packages to meet every couple’s needs. While the majority of our communication was with Kiersa, everyone we interacted with in her office was professional and knowledgeable about our wedding and our specific needs and wishes. Our wedding package was mostly month-of but Kiersa made sure to check in with us throughout the planning process - scheduling lengthy meeting to make sure we were on track - and was always there to answer our questions whenever they popped up!

Kiersa and her team went above and beyond the week before and day-of our wedding! They were there whenever we needed them day-of and were constantly checking in to make sure our drinks were full and everything was going the way we wished. Although they were constantly there when we needed them, they also had an amazing talent of blending into the background and not being overbearing. All staff that worked our event made sure they space was flawless when guests arrived - candles were lit, music was playing, food was ready, etc.. We never had to worry about anything!

We would recommend Events by Kiersa to anyone wanting a stress-free wedding day!

Great people to work with for your wedding, definitely!

Kiersa and her group were really great and helpful in planning and coordinating our wedding. We almost started with no clue but ended up with an amazingly wonderful day with her help, from the beginning to the end. Kiersa is very good at sensing what you like and provide advices fit for your requirements and expectations. Every details have been handled very well with her assistance. She also helped us with finding the vendors. She has a high-qualified vendor list that she worked with on a regular basis. The vendors that she recommended were also great and nice in terms of their service quality, attitudes, and professional skills.
Kiersa and Jenn are great people to work with in regards to their personalities and attitudes. We definitely enjoyed the experience and developed a good relationship with them. With their coordination, the wedding went pretty well and left us and our families valuable memories. Herein, I highly recommend Kiersa's group for your upcoming weddings.

Having a long distance wedding can be daunting! The bride nor the mother of the bride lives in
Asheville. We were fortunate to find Kiersa and Jenn of Events by Kiersa. With their knowledge and expertise in the Asheville area they were able to secure many things that I did not know about. They handled the hotel blocks, Van/bus transportation, coordination at event sight, and rentals....Just to name a few things. They were very patient and easy to work with. I thank them for coordinating things until the bitter end of the wedding night.

Kiersa and Jenn were the glue the held our wedding weekend together. From the very beginning of the planning stages they were so easy to work with and guided the process in a very kind and supportive way. Every proposal and inquiry was met with a “yes” and “can do” attitude - these gals get it done!!! The weekend of our wedding couldn’t have run more smoothly - and this was in a mountain area with zero cell reception! Jenn and Kiersa were awesome and so much fun to work with! Jenn was my coordinator for the wedding day and she was AMAZING. She handled everything and everyone with ease and confidence which made me feel super relaxed. She kept our wedding party on schedule and took care of ALL of the vendors, and the set-up / tear-down, on my wedding day... And a lot more that I probably wasn't even aware of because I was able to be in the moment and not stress about the details!
My maid of honor and mother both told me that my wedding was the most laid back wedding they've been a part of - that speaks volumes and I give the credit to Events by Kiersa. Working with Jenn and Kiersa leading up to the wedding was easy and fun, and they went above and beyond my expectations throughout the process. If it wasn't for Kiersa we wouldn't have found our gorgeous and charming venue. It ended up raining hard that day, and Kiersa and her team took care of all the last minute changes and helped make the best of the situation. Kiersa and her team are incredible. My review will not do them justice, but I will try.
My husband and I wanted to have a weekend long wedding on his family's land in the NC mountains. Its seclusion is what is so meaningful to us, but it certainly isn't your typical wedding venue. However, no feat was too big for Kiersa's team and they helped us make all of our crazy ideas come true. We were able to turn our rustic land into a comfortable, romantic, fun location for three days of events. They helped us navigate everything from a giant tent, to bathrooms, to bringing in electricity, to delicious food service, to bonfires -- all from scratch in the middle of the woods. Their recommendations for musicians, caterers, transportation services, floral designers, trash removal and more were all spot on. And we planned all of this from 500 miles away! Kiersa and her team were always available when we were in town to help us pack in as much planning in an efficient and fun way. When we weren't around Kiersa and her team were always great about communicating with us, keeping us on task, and getting a million things done behind the scenes.
Perhaps above all, Kiersa is a delightful human being. Spending time with her was always a pleasure and every single vendor we interacted with mentioned how much they love working with Kiersa. She is always calm, positive, upbeat, and on top of every detail. We trusted her instincts when it came to the best way to approach any problem that came up. She was always able to calm our nerves and guide us to the right decision for us without ever being overbearing or pushy. When it looked like rain was coming for one of our events she said (and meant): "It's up to you and we can do whatever you want," but she ultimately guided to the best decision by far and that night's event turned out so much better than we ever dreamed.
We joyfully, unequivocally recommend Events by Kiersa!

I cannot write a review that encapsulates just how wonderful Kiersa and her team are!

Kiersa & Jen were with us throughout our entire wedding process, and they were were present, attentive, and communicative. They went above and beyond to create a wedding celebration that was beautifully genuine to my spouse & I as a couple. Everything about our wedding felt like it was truly 'us' and Kiersa was really the one that made that happen.

We planned most of the wedding from afar and Kiersa was our boots on the ground. She saved us time, money, and LOADS of stress. We truly could not have had the experience we did without her. On our wedding day itself, she kept everything running smoothly -- we had bad weather, she handled it, and at one point she made me 3 separate plates of food because I kept forgetting to eat. She was on a different, wedding-planners-only level.

Kiersa is a gift for anyone that gets to work with her. When people ask us how stressful wedding planning was, we get to say "Not at all!" -- and Kiersa is the reason for that. Without Kiersa, our marriage would still be great, but our wedding wouldn't have been anywhere near as awesome!

Ahhh Kiersa! What can I say -she was the perfect match for me! I interviewed several wedding planners. During our first conversation it didn't take long for me to decide "it's her!" Initially I was impressed with her demeanor. She didn't come off as being high strung or uptight. Kiersa has an amazing calmness about her. She is very warm, friendly and a great listener. During our first onsite visit one of my best friends was with me and we both left completely impressed with her organization, the questions she asked, her suggestions, professionalism, -you name it! About 10 weeks out from 'the big day', we ran into some issues and had to find an entirely new wedding venue. Not once did she seem rattled or concerned -which kept me feeling confident it was all going to be okay. Well it wasn't okay.. it was PERFECT! Kiersa helped us throw the most amazing wedding. I'd already selected my dj/band but needed help with florist, linen rentals, and someone to do menu's etc. Kiersa's suggestions ROCKED! (Seriously in love with the florist - Urban Farm Girl! so amazing) She kept the lines of communication going with the florist, dj/band, and venue alerting me when I needed to get them info/details/money. I felt like she had my back and TRULY cared about the planning process. When our wedding weekend arrived, she worked seamlessly with the venue, officiant, bridal party, dj, etc. We've even had guests commenting on how impressed they were with her! I am so happy I found her and she was there for it all. From the first phone call in July till the last sparkler went out this April, Kiersa was amazing! THANK YOU!!

Kiersa is amazing! I hired her a year out from my wedding for her full planning services. It was really easy to add and subtract services to make our final contract. We had already started visiting vendors on our own prior to hiring her, but when we mentioned we were going to hire her, everyone seemed to know her and how great she was. They all gave glowing reviews and we knew we had made the right choice. She suggested wonderful vendors for our DJ, officiant, photography, flowers, and cake. She was great at taking our budget and suggesting vendors who fit those needs. I felt like over the year of planning I changed my mind on so many different things, but she was great at going with the flow and making everything come to life. The week leading up to the wedding, she had everything with our vendors in place and ready to go. Kiersa was incredible the weekend of the wedding. We started setting up prior to our rehearsal, and she helped get everything in place. We even had a bit of a crisis while decorating, but she was quick to come up with a solution. She found exactly the items we needed and even stayed behind to set up while we went to our rehearsal dinner. She also took it all down after the wedding so we weren't even charged! The day of the wedding, everything went even more smoothly than I could have imagined. It felt wonderful to sit back and know that everything was running smoothly. She was absolutely fantastic and a wonderful person to work with. I would recommend her over and over again. Honestly, I feel like I didn't pay her enough for everything she did! If I could give her a score over five stars, I would. I very highly, highly recommend Kiersa!

Kiersa was absolutely wonderful and worth every penny! Kiersa went above and beyond in every single request we had of her. Hired mainly as a day-of coordinator, she still reached out and coordinated all of our vendors to ensure that they were on-board with our wedding day plan. Kiersa was also solely responsible for decorating our wedding venue (a champagne cellar) without about 200 different candles. With few directions and not having seen any of the decorations prior to the wedding, Kiersa absolutely brought our vision to life and made the room breath-taking. Kiersa also handled last minute changes like a champ and took every suggestion and question we had with a smile and genuine desire to help us! If you are getting married in the Asheville area, you would be missing out if you didn't hire Kiersa for your wedding!

My wife and I held our wedding and reception just outside of Asheville while we were living in Chapel Hill and Durham, and Kiersa took wonderful care of us in coordinating and executing both events. She set our minds at ease with her professional approach and expertise, but really won us over with her personalized touch. It's no wonder that Kiersa was just voted the #1 top wedding planner in WNC. Every detail that Kiersa organized was executed seamlessly and perfectly. Her vendor selections are top-notch and she communicates with them throughout the planning period. She never showed any sign of stress (even though we planned our wedding and weekend festivities at short notice for an extremely booked peak fall weekend!). My entire wedding day was stress-free (and I was a ball of nerves the days before) which meant that I could spend time with the friends and family who traveled far and wide to be at our destination Asheville wedding! Kiersa and her assistant Jen were in the background handling the details and rolling up their sleeves when necessary!

I don't know how I could have done my wedding without her! She is absolutely worth it!

When we first were planning our wedding with 250-260 guests, we thought we could handle it all since we are older and are local Asheville people. Thank goodness our caterer contact (Rachel from Corner Kitchen) kindly and gently suggested we might need some help!

We chose Kiersa to help us. She was organized, thoughtful, experienced and calm, calm, calm. Her contacts in the area were especially helpful (flowers, sound guys, rental companies, caterer for rehearsal, etc). Sometimes it is hard to let “professionals” handle things you think you are capable of handling but it is the nicest thing to do for yourself AND for your guests to turn over some of the planning.

Kiersa helped us with the actual ceremony (who goes when, where people get seated, getting guests to gather) and it turned out beautifully. We also needed guidance and direction on the reception layout (staging chairs and tables, tent location, table decorations, placement of band). She also helped us keep track of our contracts and kept in constant contact with the folks we hired.

We had strong opinions on certain parts of the ceremony and reception, of course – and Kiersa respectfully listened. If she had a differing thoughts on what would work best, she told us gently. In the end, we had EXACTLY what we wanted, with the fine tuning of a pro involved. What else more would you want? She will be the new person in your life that you will want to know forever.

Kiersa did a fantastic job helping plan our daughters wedding. Through the selection of vendors until the wedding day she offered wonderful advice and suggestions that made it a beautiful evening. There were weather related glitches but she and her staff tackled them with ease. Their calmness and reassuring smiles kept the day running smoothly and the wedding a night to remember. I highly recommend kiersa if you are wanting to plan the best wedding and or event!

Kiersa was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding. Though we hired her for only day of coordination, she went above and beyond even before the wedding to make sure everything was set on our special day. When you talk to her, you can tell that she stands out from the wedding planner crowd - she is calm and committed to your vision and does everything she can to make that vision happen. Other wedding planners I spoke to before I hired Kiersa made me feel even more stressed about my wedding and all the things I needed to have finalized before our day. Kiersa was the complete opposite. With her, I knew everything would come together and I knew she would help me get there. Our day turned out perfectly because of all her help! Kiersa was our wedding planner for our wedding in May of 2015. I honestly do not even know how to describe how incredible and invaluable Kiersa was in the entire process - from planning to execution. She took the stress out of the process, kept us smiling and laughing throughout it all, and allowed us to focus on the celebration and our family and friends on the actual day. Kiersa truly listened to what our vision was for our day and, through her hard work, the day far exceeded our expectations. Kiersa shines when the stress gets high (at least our stress, she never showed stress). We had a plan a caterer fell through at the last minute, Kiersa had an even better contingency caterer locked in and ready to deliver. She has the relationships locally to handle anything. I cannot say enough about Events By Kiersa. I would use her again for any and every event I could if I lived in the Asheville area and had an event planner need. She is a joy to work with.

I cannot say enough about Events by Kiersa!! We used her coordination services for "day of" planning for our wedding in May. While we hired her for the wedding day coordination, Kiersa was incredibly involved for the month leading up to the wedding. She was so helpful! Giving me ideas for layout, vendors and problem solving for those last minute hiccups. Jenn and Ruth were the coordinators present on the day of the wedding and I couldn't have been more pleased!! Jenn is so sweet though still had that take charge persona, she was present for our rehearsal and the entire wedding day. She took so much stress away from me and my mom, I honestly don't know how the day could have gone off as well as it did without her.
Thank you so much to Kiersa and her team! You all made my day so much more than I could have ever hoped!!!

Kiersa is absolutely amazing... She went above and beyond every expectation I had for a day of coordinator. Leading up to the wedding, she helped me stay organized, and posed questions and suggestions I wouldn't have ever thought about on my own. On the day of the wedding, she made it possible for me to enjoy the day fully and not worry about a single detail. She helped the guests get to where they needed to be... she helped set up the decorations... she made sure everything was in order for our slideshow to work. I had an absolute blast on my wedding weekend, and Kiersa honestly was a huge part in making that possible. She's also wonderful to work with in every way.... super calm, fun and thoughtful. Granted, we've only gotten married once, and haven't been intimately involved in any other weddings, but we'd be hard-pressed to say that Kiersa isn't the best wedding planner ever.

Not only does she take care of everything before it even dawns on you to think about it, but everything is handled with seemingly effortless grace. From delivering home runs on the few things we cared about, to taking care of everything else that we didn't really feel like thinking about, Kiersa excelled in pretty much every arena of wedding planning. (And she didn't bat an eyelash over the fact that our wedding was highly non-traditional and we didn't care for most of the standard wedding trappings.)

If you're reading this, you're probably looking for a wedding planner. If that's the case, your search should probably be over - just call Kiersa now. Other than getting married, hiring her was probably the best decision we made in the past year.

My husband and I are a dual military couple and planning anything in life is difficult let alone planning a wedding from 5 hours away. Kiersa's flexibility with our sechedule was priceless. Because of her my husband was able to participate in more of the wedding planning than anticipated (he lived 3,000 miles away during the planning). I am eternally grateful for everything she did, so many little details and assistance many of which I would of never thought about until it was to late. Kiersa and her staff were my saving grace on my wedding day. Having them aloud my family, guest and myself to focus on just enjoying our day. I have always been told a planner is worth every penny come the day of your wedding and that statement is very true!!!

Kiersa is the most wonderful mix of relaxed, positive, and totally professional. I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner because they have the reputation for being type A and controlling, but working with Kiersa was a pure joy. From the get-go, she completely understood the vision we had for our party, and she worked tirelessly and cheerfully to make all of our dreams for our wedding weekend come true. From small touches to the big picture, from the beginning of the planning almost a year ago to the wrap up meeting we had after our party, I felt completely safe in Kiersa's more than competent hands, and planning the event was so much fun that I was inspired in ways I never even expected. She added ideas that completely fit with our overall vision, and she was totally flexible about making our tiniest or most outlandish ideas "just happen." Her evident enjoyment of her work consistently made me excited for, not stressed about, every aspect of our party. After meeting with Kiersa a week before our event, we completely turned the reins over to her and were able to just totally relax and enjoy our event, confident that it would all be taken care of, which allowed us to be truly present with each other and with the friends and family who had traveled so far to celebrate with us. We just sat back and let it all happen around us, and Kiersa and her team ensured that it happened in a way that was totally easy and elegant; the entire weekend truly went not just without a hitch, but as the most classily relaxed and enjoyable wedding I have ever been to! Ours was a full-weekend event, which involved several of her staff members, who mirror her professionalism and relaxed positivity in every way. We wanted to make sure our daughter and her future in-laws and we really enjoyed their wedding day and didn't have to worry about the details! Ours was a destination wedding so it was important to be able to rely on someone local to sew the wedding ingredients together and it became clear early on that we needed someone outside the families to take on that role.
As an event planner myself, I know the work that goes into behind the scenes efforts . . . the things that no one ever sees or knows about, the could-have-been-a-disaster situations, the anticipation of things that could go wrong. In every aspect of our work with Kiersa Holy - from my first phone conversation with her all the way through the last moment and detail of the reception and beyond - it was a pleasure. Kiersa helped make the planning and wedding day fun.
Kiersa is a true professional in every way; prompt with replies, on top of things we hadn't even thought about, very organized, able to deal with personal issues and needs charitably - and with the greatest of care. Just as she became like a friend to those of us involved with the planning, she is treated like a member of the family by the staff at the venue (The Farm.) It was clear they trust her as they do one of their own staff.
The wedding day was special because a lot of work was done by a lot of people to make it so, but Kiersa pulled it all together. We wish we had another daughter getting married in the Asheville area! I think the best comment of all was from my husband the father of the bride "I wish I could wake up tomorrow and live that day all over again. It was so much fun!" much to the credit of Kiersa.

I was one of those brides who originally did not see the full value of spending money on a wedding planner, and boy was I wrong! Kiersa was a joy to work with and was extremely patient, kind, creative and organized! Because we did not get married at a traditional venue, the space did not come equipped with rentals, or staff, or any of the basics. Kiersa was instrumental in transforming our space into the beautiful setting that it was and making sure that everything got set up properly. Prior to the wedding she set up our rental orders, came up with a layout of the space, made recommendations for vendors, and was always available to answer our endless questions! She truly went above and beyond. By the time the day of the wedding rolled around I can honestly say that my husband and I were stress free (for the most part) because we knew that Kiersa had everything under control. I did not scramble around doing any last minute tasks, I simply relaxed and enjoyed the day. Kiersa's time, expertise, and professionalism is most definitely worth the investment. Kiersa was absolutely amazing!! Our wedding was very DIY so we weren't sure at first about hiring a coordinator. After meeting Kiersa and speaking with her, we were 100% sure of the decision. Now, looking back on our day, she was THE BEST decision we made! Kiersa had worked with all of our vendors before which made us feel good that they all had a professional relationship with each other. Because everything was so handmade and self-planned and most likely also because there were two brides, we were pretty particular with the way we wanted our day to look and flow. Every time we talked to Kiersa, we felt a sense of relief. She was so on the ball! On the day of, every time I was about to ask her to do something, I would turn around and notice she was already on top of it! We had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour and a huge chance of rain. She was awesome about helping us come up with a rain plan and ensured us it would be fine either way. When it came it down to it, she listened to what we truly wanted and made it happen. Kiersa has a great energy about her. . . she's calm and so sweet and kind and also direct and takes care of business!! By the end of the night, we truly didn't know what we would have done without her!!

Where do I begin? My fiancée and I first met Kiersa about a year prior to our big day. We met her for lunch one day while visiting Asheville. Being Florida natives, we were in need of someone that new the Asheville area well with hopes of having someone with strong ties to the wedding industry to point us in the right direction. After having met Kiersa, we knew without question that she was the person for us. Kiersa's bright and sweet spirit was like a breath of fresh air. As the months went by and our big day got closer she gave us a peace of mind in times where things tend to get overwhelming. I grew to have trust and ease knowing that she had things covered and that if a plan B was necessary, she would make the best of it - almost as if our guests never even knew it was the other plan. Kiersa exceeded our expectations in every way and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to plan any large event.

Oh my! What an unbelievable day! Kiersa kept me calm (and that is no easy matter). The wedding and reception were at our house and that could cause angst but Kiersa had it ALL under control. She arrived and set up the house. When I got nervous, her calm demeanor defused the situation. All the details were taken care of...and always with a smile.

And when it came to the wedding and reception, I only thought about the guests. Everything ran smoothly thanks to her attention to detail.

And oh, by the way, Jakub, Kiersa's husband, provided music so perfectly timed for the wedding and reception that all four generations attending had a marvelous time.

I would highly recommend Kiersa.

Kiersa was truly the most amazing person we could have ever hired for our wedding. My husband and I are from Charleston, SC, however we love Asheville. How can I rate my WEDDING COORDINATOR at 5 stars when she clearly deserved 10 stars or higher. Kiersa Holy of Events by Kiersa was first recommended to us via a list of recommended coordinators who had worked with our venue. However, when I conducted inquiry phone calls with coordinators, she was the ONE coordinator who stood above all the rest (and I interviewed SEVERAL). My own background as an event planner made me wary of hiring a coordinator and after family and my future husband encouraged, agreed to a "Day of Coordinator." BEST DECISION OF MY WEDDING - besides the groom of course! From the moment I spoke to her to the informative phone calls, emails, and formal processes she helped us put into plan we were able to include everything we wanted in the wedding details -- and were able to let go and ENJOY our wedding instead of running it. Best part as well, as it was a destination, our families and friends were also relieved of commitment since she and her staff handled all the details from beginning to after the wedding. One of the winning moments was when we had to have an emergency meeting with our venue due to some contract changes the week of, she instantly became our advocate and ensured our needs AND contract were met despite some tense moments. I never had to worry my wedding day b/c I knew Kiersa had everything under control. She is professional, organized, strong attention to detail, loves lists and charts (my hero!) and is open to what you want but is realistic and open with you so you have the ultimate best wedding - not a cookie-cutter event. Even our vendors were thrilled with working with her! My only regret? The wedding is now over and we do not get to have interactions with her as often and my life seems a little more unorganized without the reasoning of Kiersa in it. She IS worth the investment - I would hire her for my wedding or any other event, intimate or large and complex. She is the Fairy Godmother of Wedding Coordination.

We hired Kiersa for "day-of" services. She was incredibly helpful even months before the wedding and was always available for questions/suggestions via email. We planned the wedding out-of-town in a very remote town and she linked me up with some great vendors from Asheville who were willing to travel to the small town where our wedding was held. Kiersa smiled throughout the day, despite the excruciating heat and made sure that every detail that I had wanted was not left untouched. She worked seamlessly with all our vendors- some she had not even worked with before, some she had. And, she worked easily with all the various personalities that were intimately involved in our wedding party, meeting everyone's expectations. Kiersa is wonderful to work with, organized, friendly, and fun!!!

We chose Kiersa based on a close friend's experience/recommendation & we are so glad we did! We had a super-loose vision that she transformed into this gorgeous event, and everything went incredibly smooth & drama-free.

I'm pretty sure I went up to Kiersa multiple times during my wedding just to tell her how awesome it was. Our wedding day was the best day ever and I'm confident that it wouldn't have been possible without all of Kiersa's help. Similar to all of the other reviews, Kiersa was one of the best decisions I made. I called her my month long planner because she helped me with all the little things that I knew would come up towards our big day. She also helped us with EVERYTHING on the wedding day - from stopping by our hotel room suite to pick up last minute DIY projects to the set up at The Crest Pavilion to managing all the timings of the big night (music at the ceremony, coordinating with the band, moving the benches from outside to inside The Crest Pavilion and our awesome sparkler exit). Kiersa is just awesome. If you're on the fence of whether or not to get a day of coordinator, DO IT. I PROMISE you will not regret it. Kiersa made my wedding day the best day of our lives - I wasn't stressed one minute on Saturday. Rather, I was able to soak it all in and enjoy celebrating with all our family and friends!

Events by Kiersa was the BEST investment we made for our wedding celebration! We could not have done it without Kiersa and her team, particularly since my husband and I were planning our NC wedding from across the country. She was our silver bullet for finding the best vendors, venue, rentals, salon...everything we needed, Kiersa either had outstanding recommendations already or worked with her team to find just what we requested.

Kiersa, Ruth, Ryan...the whole Events by Kiersa team worked tirelessly to help pull our weekend together. In the end, I was able to completely and fully enjoy the entire day without worrying about a single detail. Trust this woman and her colleagues. They know what they are doing!

Kiersa was an invaluable part of my wedding planning. She helped pick vendors, review contracts, and most of all, keep me on track throughout the wedding planning process. The day of the wedding she was in charge without being overbearing, out of the way, but ever present, always taking care of the time line, little details, vendors and the guests. She made sure that the little details that I had planned came off without a hitch. She was an integral part of our amazing wedding day. She guides you without being overbearing. She helps you through the rough spots that you most certainly will encounter. She was perfect for us.
