We truly could not have done this without Carmen and her team!

Carmen was there for us throughout the entire planning process. She was so helpful, patient, and supportive every step of the way - never once making me feel judged for being a little Type A or when I had my moments of stress. She also recommended some incredible vendors, and every single one turned out to be phenomenal.

On the wedding day, we worked closely with Cynthia, and she was AMAZING. So attentive, organized, and completely on top of everything. She made sure all of our wishes came to life exactly how we envisioned and kept everything running smoothly and on schedule.

Even with the rain, it was never an issue. Cynthia made sure everyone was aligned, handled every detail, and truly moved heaven and earth to make everything happen for us. She stood her ground when needed and made sure everything worked out in our favor, which gave us so much peace of mind.

We are beyond grateful for both Carmen and Cynthia - they are professional, dedicated, and genuinely care about making your day perfect. We cannot recommend them enough!

Absolute perfection

If you think you can plan a wedding all on your own, you can’t! Hire Carmen!! She is friendly, always available, professional. The attention to detail is an art. I was completely stress free the day of my wedding. I knew Carmen had everything under control. Fantastic Wedding Planner

I am writing this review because Carmen exceeded our expectation. From the start, planning of my daughter's wedding to even after the big day Carmen was amazing. She was available when needed to give excellent advice on all the zillion decisions that needed to be made. Her ideas were wonderful and made the event special.She was always available to manage vendors and issues that arose with them. Carmen went way beyond what anyone would expect from a wedding planner to help make my daughter's day as special as it could be. Days before the wedding Carmen contacted all the vendors. She made sure they understood/knew their timeline so everything ran smoothly. I could not give higher praises to a Wedding Planner. She made my daughter's and now son-in- law Wedding Day very special and I could not have done it without her.

Hard work and attention to detail exceeding expectations!

I wish I had another event to plan right now so my time with Carmen didn't have to end! Carmen was so patient, kind and confident. She always made me feel comfortable and at ease during the months leading up to the wedding. On the day of, she and her team seamlessly made everything happen. Carmen is amazing!!!

We are so happy that we went with Carmen to plan our wedding!! From the initial consultation call all the way through the wedding, Carmen was amazing and so helpful. She was always available to jump on a call and help communicate with other vendors. She helped us stay on top of all the checklist items that needed to get done leading up to the wedding. Wedding day itself was seamless. Carmen and her team made sure that our wedding day was so perfect and beautiful. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing. Carmen is Amazing!

I had my wedding earlier this year, with the help of Carmen and her team. From the beginning stages of planning to the day of event, Carmen was fantastic to work with. She was super responsive, knowledgeable and a total professional. She's fantastic at her job. On top of that, Carmen is a genuinely kind person and cares for her brides. I was so grateful to have Carmen by my side for all the stages of wedding planning - she gave me comfort and peace of mind that everything would go well (which it absolutely did). The day of my wedding exceeded anything I could've dreamed of. Carmen and her team were extremely hands-on throughout the day and took care of every little detail so that I could just focus on enjoying myself. Wedding fairy godmother

Carmen is truly a fairy godmother. She helped us making decisions and coordinating vendors prior to the wedding and, on the wedding day, she took care of absolutely everything. We had many challenges during our event, starting with the weather and followed by a stained wedding gown, vehicle and rentals issues, and more! At the end of the day, our event was absolutely perfect. Carmen's experience and attention to detail are invaluable. She has an amazing attitude and is there for you every step of the way. ABSOLUTELY LOVE CARMEN!!
Carmen was our wedding planner and we had a contract for partial wedding planning. Carmen is the BEST!! She is the reason why I feel like I never became a bridezilla LOL. She is always so on top of everything and she recommended most of the vendors I hired, which I can never thank her enough for because I feel like my wedding was PERFECT because of her. She is super responsive, super accommodating, a great listener, has awesome taste, and is so open and honest. Her attention to detail and care went unnoticed by not only my husband and I, but my family as well. Even in times when my parents and I butted heads, Carmen had a way to mediate super casually and always was on my side. Not to mention her energy and personality are amazing!! Carmen is the the Best Wedding Planner. Every time I would reach out to her for the smallest detail she would help me with everything I needed. The day of the wedding everything went sooo smooth with all her help. I was very impressed with her professionalism, and dedication to her profession. Love love love!

There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing & flawless Carmen’s service was the day of my wedding and the weeks leading up to it!.. Her professionalism was exceptional where one of my favorite qualities was how familiar she was with almost EVERY Miami wedding vendor I mentioned in hiring and her quick way of putting together my wedding idea & communicating it to the vendors!.. This showed me she was the real-deal because this type of professionalism is built over years of working in the wedding-service industry!.. This took a load off my shoulders because I trusted her with handling things and I avoided overthinking/ over asking vendors roles. I admit hiring Carmen was ESSENTIAL.. there was no way I could keep up with all the details the day of the wedding. As I’m writing this review on my honeymoon one of my favorite memories was actually the day after the wedding when I found all my wedding items organized back in my home and even a piece of the wedding cake that she had packed for us.. even more important was that she had folded my veil (which nobody remembered to collect) and included it in my day-after box!.. Throughout the wedding day (which passed by so quickly!) she made sure my husband and I were comfortable and coordinated our placements the entire day. Also she brought an assistant who was fabulous and together ran the behind-the-scenes production flawlessly. She was very kind to our families and our wedding party and got the job done in a fast and effective way. At the end of the day our wedding was FANTASTIC, a complete hit!! Some guests said to me “Best wedding I’ve ever attended!”!.. I’m so grateful from the bottom of my heart!

My fairy godmother is the best way to describe Carmen and her team. We had the pleasure of working with Carmen and Alejandra for our destination wedding. Being a destination wedding, my husband and I did not have the chance to go back and forth as much as we wanted to so we had to rely heavily on Carmen and Alejandra. Best Wedding Planner !

I would like to start off by saying that if your are debating whether to hire a wedding planner, let me tell you that it's a must! The best decision I ever made. Trust me, you won't want to deal with the craziness on the day of! I hired EventsbyCarmen the month of and she started to work with me 3 months in advance. Her communication was like no other. She would answer my calls, text , and emails promptly whenever I had questions. Also, when I needed suggestions with details or vendors she was able to help us with amazing recommendations.

Carmen and her team did an amazing job with our wedding last month. The entire team was extremely organized, professional, and such sweet hearts... heaven sent! I had so many compliments from my guests in the way the interacted with them.

LIke I said, they were heaven sent. Everything went smooth and in a timely manner. I truly felt calm and relaxed on my wedding day! I am so thankful for that... Thank you Carmen and your wonderful team! If I had to do it all over again... I would choose you!

So organized and helpful!!

Carmen and her team were the absolute best. I hired her for day of coordinating and she did so much more than that. She even emailed me 2 months before the wedding to make sure I had a marriage license appointment because miami was super backed up. As someone who is incredibly typeA, I felt totally comfortable letting go of the reigns and letting her work her magic. I trusted her vision for the layout and game time decisions and wouldn’t trade working with her for the world.

She was so nice, professional, supportive and so communicative - something I appreciated greatly! During the reception, she made sure I had everything I needed - right down to the late night snack of McDonald’s we had delivered for our guests. She made sure my husband and I ate first!

Absolutely Amazing

Carmen saved our wedding twice. I hired Carmen after my husband reserved our venue the day before the Superbowl in Miami. He obviously did not realize that a wedding that weekend would be chaos. At that point, we didn’t have a planner. I had met Carmen a month earlier at the Rusty Pelican bridal show. She was so calm and friendly that in my panic, I instantly thought to call her (even after winning a planning package with another reputable wedding planner). Carmen immediately went into planner mode and helped us reschedule with our venue. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule again after COVID. Carmen came to the rescue again. As two healthcare workers planning a wedding in different states, we were so stressed. She quickly helped us reschedule with our venue and our vendors. A year later, our wedding finally happened. Carmen and her team were absolutely amazing! She made everything an ease even when I was planning a wedding from another state during a pandemic. Working with her was like working with a close friend. She was so organized, calming, and really considered our vision when creating the wedding of our dreams. During the wedding, Carmen and her team made all the stress of the day disappear. They were constantly checking up on us and our guests. Everyone commented on how wonderful the venue looked and how friendly they were. Carmen personally checked in with us several times during the night to make sure we didn’t need anything. I cannot imagine working with another planner!! Carmen and her team are a part of our family now! We highly recommend her!!

Best Wedding Planner Ever!

I just want to start by saying, I AM A CONTROL FREAK! When Covid hit and I had to replan an entire new wedding, I literally said, 'I need to hire a wedding planner before lose it." and I hired Carmen! Simply amazing

Oh Carmen!!! Where do I start??? Hiring a wedding planner was not high on my list, I thought... I got this!
My bridesmaids and I attended a wedding expo after I got engaged, and I stopped by Events by Carmen's stand and collected a business card like I did for every other vendor.
Months go by and I start hiring other vendors... but every single vendor I interviewed or hired asked us: "Do you have a wedding planner? If you don't, hire Carmen!". I thought, this woman must be good! and I called. Carmen was everything I thought I didn't need and more! I intended to book her as my day of coordinator only, and ended up getting an amazing deal for the 3 month planning service just for having my wedding on a weekday.
If I said that she worked my wedding for three months I would be lying.... she did so much more than that! I can't count the times she put me at ease and took things off my plate. Wedding planning is tough, but planning a wedding during a world pandemic is TOUGH!
During the wedding she was just a life saver, coordinated everything flawlessly and made sure I had no worries throughout my day. Not to mention her 20 years of experience, this is definitely not her first rodeo. I also want to give a special shout out to her assistant; Cynthia, this girl was amazing!!!

Halloween Wedding

Omg! There isn't enough words to describe how amazing Carmen and her staff was for our wedding! We had a Hallowedding and she was so instrumental in making our vision come to life. Before her, we were having a hard time finding vendors and establishing our vision. Our friend, who hired her for her own wedding, recommended her to us. She came in and literally found us every vendor we needed and they all followed our creative ideas! From the walk through to the wedding, she understood our vision and helped us make sure we got everything we wanted! She and her staff went far and beyond on our wedding day to make sure we had the most special day of our lives!

Phenomenal Wedding Planner

Carmen is a life savor!!!!! If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further. Carmen is not only the sweetest, kindest, and nicest person to work with but OMG is she so organized and able to keep you on track. I hired Carmen for her Month of services and thank god I did. I was just going to use her for Day of services and boy would that have been a huge mistake!!!! She helped me plan every little detail to make my wedding the dream I’ve always picture. Not to mention that we had to do it twice, because Covid made us postpone. She was literally always available for calls and text. If something came up, and I was panicking she had a few solutions of how to work my problems out. Because of Covid, one of my vendors was being very difficult and Carmen new how to navigate the situation to make everyone happy. Carmen even went out of her way at 11PM to drive 45 minutes to my house, 2 days before my wedding to pick up the stuff she needed for me. I told her she was crazy, but she wanted to make sure that I wouldn’t have to stress out about anything the day before my wedding. She is hands down the best wedding planner I could have ever dreamed for. I’m just so thankful for her and her team!!!!

Absolutely Outstanding

There are no words to describe how absolutely incredible Carmen is! She was a god sent and made our wedding absolutely amazing. My husband and I could not have been happier and my parents were too!
She was the second person I spoke to and as our amazing conversation was coming to an end without hesitation I told her I wanted her to be my planner.
She will go above and beyond for you and she really knows all her stuff and has a perfect eye for detail and style.
Not only that but she has a phenomenal personality, and after a year of planning my wedding I would consider her a friend.
I am already thinking of future milestone birthdays and events in which I could work with her again!
You absolutely can not go wrong with her!

The best wedding planner ever!!

I met Carmen at a bridal expo and I am so happy that I did. From the first day I met with her, it was like I have known her forever! Carmen literally made my wedding vision come to life. I honestly don't think my wedding would have gone perfectly if she wasn't there. She was a gift sent from God. She was not only my wedding planner, but she became a friend as well. I knew what I wanted for my wedding and she literally led me to the perfect vendors that made my wedding come to life. She truly knows the industry and is extremely professional and will help keep you sane for your big day lol. The day of my wedding, she had the most perfect team that kept everything organized and they were a huge help and I loved how they always made sure that my husband and I were well taken care of!! Perfect Miami Wedding

This woman is amazing !!!! Honestly my story is def not the usual wedding planning story. Due to personal reasons we had to have our wedding 17 days from the day that I first contacted Carmen. I truly cannot say enough how phenomenal her and her team was through the entire two week process from hour 1. You just tell her what you’re vision is and she honestly works her magic and with her knowledge of venues and how they work or what they offer she narrows it down beautifully! I was just so grateful for her and her professionalism. Also, she had great rapport with all the contacts at the venues which added to how great she was. My now husband and I were in contact with her throughout the entire time and she was sweet and listened to all our requests. She also gave us great advise for little things that we did not know. The day of the actual wedding her and her assistant made it all flow and just gave me so much peace of mind. I honestly have nothing but great things to say because thanks to her my day somehow came together and it was perfect.
She is a miracle worker and she knows the business very well! We recommend her 110%.

Amazing, helpful, calming

Carmen, Cynthia, and Monica were amazing. Carmen was the peace in the storm that immediately calms you down once she starts talking and she organized everything prior to the wedding. She was awesome at haggling with vendors and I couldn’t have handled florals without her. Cynthia was amazing at keeping everyone in line and was i don’t know how she did it but always seemed to be in multiple places at once. Monica hustled and was so sweet. You guys were the best. To the current brides out there, I was the girl who thought she had everything handled because I have always been that girl who helped others during their events. It’s just not possible to do it all yourself. I needed the help. Things went wrong on the wedding day when I didn’t think they would and these girls were on it. I wish if they were there the morning of the wedding (we started at 6 am bc I had a lot of bridesmaids), when things started to go sideways, but thats on me for not being aware of the start time. The hubby and I loved them all. Thank you to all of you!! Good luck future brides!

EVERYTHING you could ask for

I couldn’t have asked for a better person to come into my life at just the right time! Carmen was recommended to me by a friend because our first venue got cancelled and I was panicking. I didn’t know anything about coconut grove, but Carmen out of the goodness of her heart helped me in any way she could AS A FRIEND, so I hired her!!! She was my rock when I needed to vent, and my kick ass coordinator when things went wrong and she needed to fixed them quickly and quietly. She kept my constant worries at bay and really was such a wonderful person to work with. She worked hard for us and is so down to earth. Anytime I needed her she was there night or day. If I had known about her sooner I would have let her plan my whole wedding. Do not hesitate to contact her because you will not regret it. Her assistant Cynthia on day of was also FANTASTIC- she made sure I was happy, cooled off, always had a drink in hand, and most importantly MADE SURE WE ATE. (Which was by request of me). I can’t thank her enough because most brides and grooms barely see their apps and dinner. These women made sure we had desserts in to go boxes to enjoy the day after. I CANNOT SAY THANK YOU ENOUGH. Everything was so carefully and perfectly packed up and put in cars before I even knew it. They wrapped everything back in its original packaging! I’m just so impressed by you guys. Thank you!!!!

We recently used Carmen for the “Day Of” coordinator for our wedding and she was amazing. She made sure the day ran smoothly. Responsive, Knowledgable, and Absolute Perfection!

Thanks to Carmen and her team, we were able to have the wedding we hoped for and more. The evening progressed so smoothly and on schedule that we were able to relax and truly enjoy the magic of our special day. She was incredibly responsive (answering texts almost instantaneously) and was quick to provide alternate vendors when we were struggling to find one that met our budget. Carmen was a godsend!

We hired Carmen as our day of coordinator and she was a godsend! I don’t know what I would have done without her. We were constantly in contact the weeks leading up to the wedding. I planned the whole wedding and am incredibly meticulous, she executed it with perfection! Every detail was perfect exactly as I had hoped. I would recommend her to every bride in Miami!

Do yourself a favor & HIRE CARMEN!!!

Carmen and her team of ladies were BEYOND AMAZING. Do yourself a favor and BOOK HER & HER TEAM! I came across Carmen on Instagram while planning my wedding. At first, I didn’t think a day-of coordinator was necessary but boy was I wrong! Carmen put together the timeline for my wedding day, contacted all my vendors a week before my wedding to ensure everything was ready for my big day. Carmen and her team spent all day with me on the day of my wedding....running around in the ballroom while I was in my hotel room getting my hair and makeup done with my girls. She made sure my church ceremony started on time even though the ceremony booked before mine ran a bit late. Her sense of urgency is exactly what I needed in my day of coordinator. At the reception, her team made sure my husband and I ate our dinner, cut our cake, took all the pictures we planned to take and always checked in with me to make sure all was well. At the end of the night, Carmen and her team packed up desserts from our dessert table for my husband and I, packed up our cake’s top tier and put away all my personal decorations...They took everything back to my hotel room so I wouldn’t have to worry about anything except dancing the night away. Please do yourself a favor and BOOK CARMEN & HER TEAM. THEY ARE SUPERB!!!!!! You will be in great hands and will truly get to enjoy your wedding day without having to deal with all the little details

Services full of Quality and Perfection

Carmen & her team were the best decision we made in the last two weeks of our wedding. She swooped in and took charge of all Vendor requirements, dealt with last minute requests from the florist, finalised table & floor plans & ensured that there was nothing for me to do other than turn up on the day. On the day, Carmen delivered my bouquet to me for first look photos and through out the day, she was attentive to my parents, in laws and ensured that we were all fed, had a drink at all times and relieved any stress. Carmen thought of things that i hadn't such as ensuring all relevant people were sat in the front rows. The day ran so smoothly thanks to her and her team coordinating all vendors and guests to be where they needed to be at the right time. With sore feet, the last thing i wanted to do, was carry any gifts /cake / other to be taken home. Carmen ensured that all was packed up and delivered to the hotel. Carmen and her team were calm and that energy was appreciated. Carmen's services were beyond anything i expected! Thank you, you made our day the most special day.

Best night of my life

My initial conversation with Carmen was about 1 hour. We chatted on all things wedding - the conversation flowed and was so easy. This is how I knew that she was the one! Carmen and her team were absolutely fabulous. She last minute handled so many little things that no bride should have to deal with. They thought of everything. Our night was perfect - everything was executed perfectly. I cannot reccomed Carmen and her team enough. She’s accessible via phone and text at all times and goes out of her way for anything that you need!!!

Do yourself a favor, hire Events by Carmen

I was referred to Carmen just about 30 days before my son’s wedding. At the time, I will admit that I was panicking because I couldn’t put this small but elegant wedding together. From the first minute I spoke to Carmen, I knew I was in the best hands. All I did after we hung up was smile. The entire experience was so helpful and she was so responsive. I don’t think I waited even a half a day for a returned phone call or email. The day of the rehearsal, she arranged everyone and everything and the day of the wedding, she took care of EVERYTHING! There were some hiccups with our location and she took care of solving any and issues that came up at the last minute. I wish I had another event so I could hire her all over again. I’d give her 100 stars! 😊

Best Money Ever Spent

I consider my contract with Carmen the best money I’ve ever spent. Not only were her and her partner professional, well-connected with other vendors, and extremely talented in their field, she was also a pleasure to work with. Her personality and calm demeanor are but two of the qualities that make her the best at what she does. Weddings are more stressful than I ever imagined! Luckily, I had Carmen on my side and on the day of my wedding as well as on my rehearsal dinner, I felt very calm and happy because I knew everything was going to be perfect. She was so attentive to my needs before the wedding and on the day of. Everyone In my wedding party felt so pampered and well attended to. My parents fell in love with her! And although my husband was not happy about soending any money on a wedding planner, (he did not think we needed one), he was ecstatic and relieved that I made the decision to bring Carmen on board. Thank you so much Carmen for making my wedding as memorable and as beautiful as I always hoped for!!! Would recommend her to everyone with zero hesitation.

She’s an amazing person to work with very professional made my event planning worries free.. I gave her my vision for my daughters event and she brought it to life the venue looked spectacular our guest where blown away with every details that was put in this event to make look like if you where in India.. Carmen and her team are so responsible and are on top of every litttle details Cynthia one of her assistance this lady is amazing! She took the time to get all of my daughter personal belongings and placed everything in a chart and delivered it to my to my room.. one thing that impressed me was I was so tired that I changed my shoes at the event. I thought I had lost my brand new red bottoms that I left at my table. Cynthia grab them placed them in a bag and delivered them to my room.. wow, talk about taking care of your clients.. Carmen was a dream to work with. From the start she was very professional at all times, able to solve all problems and was very easy to communicate with. Carmen knows the wedding industry extremely well so her recommendations allowed our wedding day to run smoothly by working with only professionals. As many other couples my husband and I were on a budget. Carmen respected our budget and suggested vendors who were experts in their field. Carmen helped me with every detail of the wedding from choosing invitations, to selecting our venue, and even served as the day of wedding coordinator. I can not advise any bride enough that hiring a wedding planner and a day of coordinator is a must. Not only does it protect your investment but hiring Carmen as both insures your wedding day will run smoothly without ANY incidents. Carmen was very easy to talk to when you were feeling overwhelmed :) She made a few decisions for me the day of my wedding, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. My family also thought she was the best. There is not one thing I would change about my wedding and I can truly say it is because of Carmen's hard work I was able to have my royal wedding. Carmen is worth her weight in GOLD!!!
She made my wedding day go so smoothly and beautifully.
From coordinating all of my vendors to setting up my decor perfectly, she took care of every detail exactly how I wanted it. Cynthia was incredible, too, and checked on me throughout the evening, making sure I had plenty to eat and drink to enjoy my day.
There are always things that go wrong that are out of our control, from rain to vendor issues, but Carmen resolved them all, saving me so much stress and allowing me to just relax and enjoy my day. I still feel like my wedding day was an incredible dream and I know it would not have gone so well without Carmen’s help!!!

Thank you both! We had an amazing experience with you through the past few weeks and of course, the wedding day. I am amazed that the party was well organized, on schedule and that we were able to pull off the wedding from a distance. Carmen was amazing from start to finish! From day one, she was a true professional. I used her for month of planning as I had done most of the work myself. However, I had a large ballroom wedding, with somewhat complicated travel from the venue to the church and back. Carmen and her team worked very hard to manage the large guest count and did a great job setting up my personal items and packing them at the end of the night. It made me comfortable to know she was there following up with every vendor and taking control of things when I couldn’t. She was highly accessible throughout the entire process and was always available through email and text. Thank you so much Carmen!!!

Carmen is an extraordinary asset to have on your wedding day. Carmen and her team surpassed all my expectations. We initially were going to hire Events by Carmen for the “Full Day of Coordination” services, but we ended up receiving “Month of Planning” services. My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the services we received from Events by Carmen, and we highly recommend Events by Carmen for any engaged couple planning a wedding. Additionally, if we ever have another large special celebration, we will certainly contact Events by Carmen as well.

Carmen, Cynthia, and the team go above and beyond for clients. Carmen is extremely easy to reach during business hours, and there were a few occasions that Carmen reached out to me outside of her business hours while she was working on details for our wedding. Saying Carmen is a hard worker would not do her justice. Carmen is a fantastic communicator, is realistic and honest with her brides/ couples, and carries herself extremely professionally. Carmen was also easy to reach after our wedding. She asked for, encouraged, and welcomed any type of feedback. My husband and I had no constructive criticism for Carmen, Cynthia, or the team.

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at the same location. As the wedding got closer, representatives from the venue treated us unprofessionally, rudely, and unfairly. Carmen took that burden off my husband and me, and facilitated the communication with the venue representatives. The day of, Cynthia also took this burden off us -- which was very much needed, as a disrespectful rep on-site made me cry moments before I had to walk down the aisle.

I never understood why people would hire a wedding planner or a day-of coordinator when you could do it all yourself. Carmen and her sister Cynthia were my day of coordinators and they were amazing to work with. Ww had a lot of intricate pieces to my wedding and they ensured everything was executed smoothly. They took care of every issue that popped up such that I didn't have to worry about anything and was able to enjoy my wedding. Anything I asked for them to do they did without question. They have such a positive attitude and really enjoy their line of work. Both of them are really hard workers and put 110% into each project. If I had another wedding to plan I would choose them again, no questions answered!

I can't even explain how AMAZING of an experience I had with Carmen and her services on my wedding day. Carmen and her staff went above and beyond our expectations. I came to her with an idea of what I wanted my dream wedding to look like and she brought it to LIFE...even better than I had imagined! From the decor to the logistics, she was perfection! Our wedding day ran so smoothly from beginning to end. She was always making sure my husband and I were enjoying ourselves, and thanks to her, we did just that! Carmen was always there to answer my texts and meet up. My mother in law told me not to waste my money on a coordinator. Carmen is a phenomenal planner and coordinator! I could not be more pleased with her work, her kindness and patience throughout my wedding process. The passion and talent she has for her work shone through as she effortlessly accomplished all of the requests that I had for my wedding. Carmen went above and beyond for me and her team was excellent at keeping it all together even when my wedding day became a little hectic due to rainfall. Carmen's assistance and coordination was paramount during the final month of planning and the day of my wedding. I really do not know what I would have done without her! She does not treat brides just like clients, she actually puts her heart into each event she does, and ensures that you are 100% happy! I would recommend Events by Carmen to anyone planning a wedding or event! She is the absolute best!!!

I am a very picky perfectionist, and to find someone to help me on my big day was the hardest thing to do, but Carmen made it so easy. After meeting with her at the venue I just knew that my wedding was going to be perfect. She was so prepared and listened to everything I said as we walked through. She was very responsive in her emails and was even available throughout texting, which makes anyones life easier! I honestly don't know how I would have done it without her! Even on the day of my wedding, she took the time at the end of the night to make sure I had everything, even the small details like the bride and groom place cards, which later in life will be a beautiful memory to have. I would have never thought of that! Carmen is the best of the best and of course already referred her to one of my closets friends and she is making her life that much easier!

Carmen was the best day of coordinator a bride could have. She was attentive and organized. It is like having your sister help you out with everything. She thrives under pressure and makes you feel like a queen the day of!
She was flexible and did way more and beyond expectations. I strongly advise you to hire her!! She is one of the best and I can only imagine how amazing she would be as a full time wedding planner. Most planners/'day of' are just there and don't really do not personalize themselves with your wedding, but Carmen is not your regular planner, she is unique and will not stop until you you , the bride, is happy. An Angel sent from heaven for your special day!

Seamless Professionalism

I hired Carmen for the month before and, despite all the twists and turns from venues and dates changing due to COVID, she remained calm and rolled with the punches. She made sure on my wedding day that everything was seamless so that I could have the time of my life and not worry about anything. Carmen ruined our wedding

Carmen singlehandedly ruined our wedding. I have waited almost 18 months to write this, hoping that I would feel less angry and disappointed, hoping for an explanation that never came. We were supposed to get married in Italy during the pandemic. We were about 8 weeks out so everything was done and ready. When that didn’t happen, we decided to get married locally the following year. I hired Carmen. I gave her a detailed outline/timeline that I had adapted from the Italian wedding planners. All details were covered and explained. I had my vendors, location, theme. It was obvious during our meetings and calls that she never bothered to read it. I repeatedly answered the same questions and directed her to the outline. During our walk through, we gave her detailed information about the floorplan and flow. I packed and labeled every box, cocktail, ceremony, etc. with the items that needed to be put out. At about 1pm for our 5pm wedding, Carmen came to the room where we were getting ready and asked me to draw out the layout of our tables and lounge furniture on a napkin because she had forgotten her copy. Needless to say, that was just the beginning. The table and furniture placement was wrong (causing 5k worth of lounge furniture to go unused); the table seating was wrong, even after I fixed it upon getting to the cocktail reception; we didn’t have our toasting flutes or even champagne during the toast; our photo wall was completely unusable due to a huge light fixture she allowed to be placed right in front of it; the reserved signs were never placed; our bathroom basket signs were never put out, causing folks to think the hotel was very generous with amenities; balloons I paid to have inflated for our exit were never put out because she and her staff tangled them; she couldn’t find the payment envelope I had given her for the musician, causing my husband to have to miss part of our reception to go upstairs and get cash; our wedding dinner was never sent to our room as requested; our elderly parents never tasted one hors d'oeuvre, despite having asked her to separate a plate for them; our wedding record guest book was left out in the sun to warp during setup; she got into a screaming/name-calling match with my florist when he pointed out that the setup was wrong; and so on. Our wedding was only 75 people and she had a staff of 4 there. It still baffles me how a professional can get everything so very wrong. The disorganization, lack of attention to detail and flat out mistakes are astonishing.

Carmen’s social media is filled with photos of beautiful and apparently seamless weddings-ours just wasn’t one of them. And while ours might have been an exception for her that she can easily move on from, it was our only wedding day and we can’t go back and fix it. I wouldn’t take that chance if I were you. I deeply regret that I did.
