Will Sent on 11/25/2025Beautiful, modern venue in the heart of Palm Springs
My wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at Maleza, The Drift's beautiful modern Mexican restaurant. Alongside 50 of our closest friends and family members, we had a spectacular evening.
Firstly, our main priority for the dinner was the food. We had visited Maleza before, and had a wonderful meal and felt very well taken care of by the host and kitchen. We served a number of different appetizers, a mix of fresh raw seafood dishes and vegetarian bites. It was awesome to munch around the garden while we caught up with everyone. There was a small bar set up with everything we could need, including craft cocktails. Once we sat down for the proper dinner, the staff brought out mains and sides, including a delicious salad with passionfruit vinaigrette.
Beyond the food, the service and setting were similarly excellent. The sun ended up setting right as we sat down for dinner, and before that the weather was perfect in the Drift's picturesque garden with local cacti. It was such a privilege to share Southern California with folks who traveled from all around the country. Everyone from Maleza and the Drift made our experience absolutely perfect, and we can't wait to return.Drift Palm Springs's reply:

My husband and I had the best experience at Drift. Ashley and her team were very accommodating all weekend long. It happened to thunderstorm on our wedding day and threw a wrench in our plans. The team at Drift worked hard to make the day go as smoothly as possible and help our vision come to life. The hotel is beautiful and the food was amazing. Out of all the venues in Palm Springs, we would book Drift for our wedding 1000x over. It was the coolest and most chic venue that had the best vibes for the whole weekend. We highly recommend working with the Drift team, they were super easy to work with and kept us ahead of schedule the whole time. We had most of our guests stay at the hotel and it was awesome to have everyone in one place, plus the rooms are amazing. Everyone was raving about Drift after the weekend - they still are! The night felt seamless in the transitions from ceremony in the desert lawn to the upstairs cocktail hour and then back to the desert lawn that was transformed into a completely different vibe. No one had to worry about travel or shuttles, it was an easy choice for us to keep it low stress. We loved everything about Drift for our weekend, it's such an awesome spot.Drift Palm Springs's reply:

After looking at so many venues and talking to so many teams, we chose The Drift Palm Springs to host our wedding which could not have been more of a dream wedding. The staff was incredibly on it and attentive to every detail. I was a type A bride and they were always quick to respond to my many many questions with great detail and support. They were extremely organized throughout the entire process and our wedding was legitimately perfect. One of my favorite things was actually having the wedding at a beautiful boutique hotel where all our guests stayed. It was a staycation and so beautiful and elegant with every detail when arrived and through the weekend. Having an amazing place to host our friends and family and have many people stay there with us is something I could not recommend more! The ceremony location was perfect and their team did so much to support with my vision. Also the food was praised by so many of our guests and family as the best wedding food they have ever had! This was not your typical hotel wedding it was very boutique and premium from the venue to the staff to the food. I would get married here again or renew my vows here. We had an AMAZING wedding at Drift!! I was so excited to find this perfect venue, and it truly exceeded every expectation! We hosted a destination wedding weekend with 100 guests, and it was so fun to have everyone staying in one place, as it made the whole weekend feel connected and extra special!
The team at Drift made everything so easy throughout the planning process and were incredibly helpful and responsive every step of the way.
The highlights: The food was delicious at every event we had over the weekend! The location could not have been better, with guests able to explore the town, golf, hike, or relax by the pool. The accommodations were fantastic, especially the multi-bedroom suites, which allowed our family and friends to stay close but still have their space.
Seriously, such a cool hotel, even beyond being a wedding venue. I would 100% recommend having a wedding here!!Drift Palm Springs's reply:

We had the most MAGICAL wedding weekend. Everything from our Welcome Hour to Cabanas to the wedding itself was so SO perfect.
We could not stop talking about how we picked the right place. All our guests loved their whole weekend there (which is great when they were basically asked to take a mini vacation with us !)
We had a small wedding (35!). We struggled to find a venue that would be willing to accommodate a smaller party without crazy F&B minimums. Drift delivered. While they space can hold MUCH more, our party didn’t feel too small in the space.
Also shout out to our event bartender - he was so great! An additional shoutout to Chris (or Alex) as our custom rum drink seemed to be the biggest hit. Thank you for making that happen. The food was absolutely top notch for our wedding.

I recently had my wedding weekend at Drift Palm Springs and it was the best weekend of our lives! The year of planning leading up to it was also a DREAM working with their team. Truly the most delightful and helpful team that made the process the best imaginable. Their outdoor event space where we held the wedding is so unique and gorgeous without ANY decor so made for a beautiful location. We also hosted brunch, a pool day, sound bath and welcome drinks all on property because the hotel was just SO accommodating. All of our guests were so impressed with the rooms, the food, drinks and location. 1000000/10 recommend having your wedding here!Drift Palm Springs's reply:

We absolutely loved our experience getting married at the Drift Hotel! The setting was stunning, and having all our loved ones stay in one beautiful location made the weekend even more special. The food was a huge hit—our guests raved about the cocktail hour with passed botanas, and both the Pollo Tephehuano and Filete Azteca were incredible. And the churros? Unforgettable—I’m still dreaming about them!
Ashley and the onsite team were fantastic—responsive, helpful, and made everything run so smoothly. We also used the venue’s tables and chairs, which complemented the space perfectly. Everything about our wedding at Drift Hotel felt magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Magical Wedding Venue
I hosted my wedding at Drift Palm Springs in the fall and it was the perfect venue and atmosphere for the wedding of my dreams! The rooms were so perfect for our friends and family being multi-bedroom units with kitchens and living rooms, the desert lawn with mountain backdrop made for the most amazing photos, and the staff were the most accommodating and friendly the whole weekend. The food and drink were also incredible. I had many guests say that it was the best 'wedding food' they'd ever had - not just at the wedding, but during cocktail hour, the welcome party, and the farewell brunch too! It was a magical weekend that we will cherish forever and I'd recommend Drift to anyone looking for a magical venue in Palm Springs!Drift Palm Springs's reply:

Absolutely amazing venue and hotel
Most organized and beautiful weddings I have ever been apart of. The staff really cares about making the wedding day run absolutely perfect and bringing your vision to life AND then make it even better. The food and cocktails are so scrummy. I've been to this hotel multiple times and have attended multiple events and will continuously recommend The Drift.Drift Palm Springs's reply:

LOVE LOVE LOVE Drift Palm Springs!! We had an intimate wedding in Joshua Tree in October 2023 and wanted our small group of wedding guests to celebrate with us by enjoying a weekend by the pool in Palm Springs. Drift was exactly what we envisioned. Minimalist, boho, desert vibes, amazing mountain views, everything so clean, so thoughtful and so aesthetically pleasing! They offer a variety of rooms. Something for everyone. The larger units are almost like an apartment and include a full kitchen, living room and patio, we loved this because one of the rooms served as a community space for all our guests to hangout all together!! The pool is gorgeous, free yoga on Saturday mornings that a bunch of our guests joined in for before our post wedding Bridal Brunch! The brunch was held in the El Cielo space, it was a perfect space to eat and play newlywed games!! The food was absolutely delicious (especially the french toast)! I think it was a lot of people’s favorite part of the whole wedding weekend, so easy + convenient to just walk straight from our rooms!
Thank you especially to Meridieth & Kayla who made planning a breeze, they were so helpful and so communicative along the way!! We could not have dreamed of a more perfect place, our friends and family loved the hotel, it’s vibe and all the staff who were so sweet and friendly, shoutout Dave & Karim!!
The location is SUPER convenient. The main downtown strip is 1block away with tons of restaurants, (but did i mention the food at Drift is incredible?!) All of our guests flew in and no one needed to worry about renting a car since everything is walking distance. Just a 5min uber from the airport!
