I truly cannot put into words how incredible Carrie Darling was throughout our entire wedding planning process. From the very beginning, Carrie was not only unbelievably organized, responsive, and creative, but also one of the kindest and most genuine people we have ever worked with. She made us feel completely supported every step of the way, and no question, idea, or detail was ever too small for her attention and care.
Our wedding was beyond anything we could have ever imagined — it genuinely felt like a fairytale come to life. Carrie took every vision, idea, and emotion we had and somehow transformed it into something even more magical than we dreamed possible. The entire weekend flowed so seamlessly because of her incredible planning, professionalism, and calm presence. She thought of absolutely everything before we even had to ask.
What truly sets Carrie apart is how deeply she cares. You can feel how passionate she is about her couples and their experience, and that level of dedication is so rare. She was constantly going above and beyond, checking in on us, making sure our families were taken care of, handling every moving part behind the scenes, and allowing us to actually be present and enjoy the happiest weekend of our lives without stress.
We received endless compliments from our guests about how stunning, organized, and flawless everything was, and that is entirely thanks to Carrie. Hiring her was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

I was the third daughter in my family to get married, so I’ve seen my fair share of wedding planners—some good, some not so good. For me, it was absolutely essential to have a planner who was truly top-notch. Carrie was, without question, the best wedding planner I have ever seen.
She was calm in chaos, steady when emotions ran high, and made me feel at complete peace on my wedding day. Her creativity is unmatched, and the way she and her husband work together is something special. It wasn’t just me and my family who noticed how incredible she was—our guests raved about her as well, and even seven months later they still bring up how amazing she was.

Forever grateful for Carrie!
My husband and I worked with Carrie to plan our wedding at Club Pelican Bay in Naples and she was an absolute pleasure to plan with! It was so reassuring to work with Carrie. She’s been in the industry for over 15 years and she has established solid relationships with all of the best vendors in SW Florida. We were thrilled with everyone she suggested and felt so at ease knowing that all of our vendors had been to our venue several times. Carrie is incredibly calm, personable, creative, and accommodating. We decided to throw an after party relatively late in the planning process. She had the best suggestions and moved super quickly to make our vision come to life. We felt the least amount of stress on our wedding day because of Carrie’s calm aura, expertise, and coordination. Everything felt seamless and super organized. We will be forever grateful for Carrie!

I could not be more grateful that we hired Carrie Darling as our wedding planner!! I am quite an anxious person and was concerned about the stress of wedding planning (especially since it was a destination wedding), and I can honestly say, I was completely calm on my wedding day because Carrie had EVERYTHING handled. It was a pleasure to work with Carrie from start to finish of the wedding planning process. She truly cared about our vision for the wedding and provided exceptional vendor recommendations. I cannot thank Carrie enough for what an amazing job she did for our wedding. She has an innate ability to understand exactly what her clients want and translate that into what can only be described as a work of art. She thinks of every detail and provides an expert level of coordination. Best wedding planning in SWFL!
It is hard to put into words the Carrie Darling wedding process. From the first day we spoke with Carrie during our initial introduction to the conclusion of our wedding, we put our complete trust into Carrie to create the wedding of our dreams. She delivered on our vision perfectly, and created a tropical green oasis on what was originally a plain grassy lawn.
In addition to introducing us to our fantastic vendors, she communicated with them throughout the planning process to make sure they were aware of the things we were looking for and to ensure everyone followed the schedule she had put together on the day of.
She took all the stress out of planning our wedding, and was a great resource as we prepared for the weekend as well as on the day of where she made our day as easy and as fun as possible.
We couldn’t recommend anyone more if you’re looking to plan a beautiful and guest-centric wedding in SW Florida!

Carrie is absolutely amazing! I knew I wanted a wedding planner as I live in another state and had no idea what to do to plan a wedding! With Carrie, I got so much more-she is truly a creative visionary! She listened to our wedding wants, vision, and goals and created the most fairytale weekend! Carrie truly works with each couple to make their wedding unique and reflective of them. She is also so calm and collected-any moment of stress or "bumps" I was feeling, she so calmly brought me back down and helped navigate next steps. Everything was absolutely amazing thanks to Carrie!!

We LOVE Carrie!
Carrie was everything you could of dreamed for in a wedding planner! She made our day perfect, simple as that. She has the greatest eye and advice for design and made the entire planning process and day flow so easy and smooth. From our customized escort card display turned photo booth back drop to our ceremony flower wall used again in the reception area, everything was just perfect. Truly couldn’t of asked for anything better! We love Carrie so much!

The absolute best!!
Carrie is so incredible at what she does and a dream to work with! Back in March, our planned wedding in May was cancelled and we basically had to abandon our plans. We were being called more than ever to serve as a nurse on the frontlines, and my husband was serving as a military pilot. This just shows how kind and generous Carrie is because she got together with some of her closest vendors to plan a fully designed wedding for one lucky couple in SW Florida. It was more than we could have ever asked for! Her creative design and attention to detail is incredible. She is also always there for anything you need. On top of Covid-19, we had the possibility of a hurricane getting closer to FL on our wedding day. She already had all the vendors on board to move up the wedding before I could even stress about it! She truly goes above and beyond in getting every single detail perfect. Carrie and the entire wedding giveaway team brought more than just joy to our lives. I don't think we can ever thank Carrie enough for her role in giving us the wedding of our dreams and making it the gorgeous event that it was. You absolutely need her and her team by your side on your wedding day!!

Carrie made our event absolutely amazing! She truly created the wedding of our dreams! We were originally supposed to get married in May but due to the pandemic, we had to make a lot of changes. Carrie was so accommodating to our situation and very helpful by easily adjusting any changes we needed to make. We would choose Carrie and her team a million times over!

Carrie + Her Team are Amazing!
Carrie and her team were great. We hired Carrie for our NYE Wedding over a year out. Throughout the year we worked with her on design, vendor coordination and even built some custom pieces in her workshop. The custom escort card display, turned selfie backdrop was a huge hit! As well as our custom greenery backdrop with neon sign that was set up behind our sweetheart table. The escort card display was custom built displaying a champagne bottle that had been ‘popped’ and the bubbles had everyones name and seating assignment on it! Truly unique and fit the theme perfectly!

Best Experience Ever!
We had an October wedding at Marco Island and Carrie was amazing. We live in Minnesota so we had to rely on her for practically everything. She found fabulous vendors from florist, DJ, videographer, to photographer. She collaborated to make sure our vision was realized and exceeded our expectations. We could not recommend her more!

Carrie is Simply THE BEST
Carrie is absolutely amazing to work with! I worked with her for a year to plan my big day. I signed up for her "Give Me Butterflies" package and could not be happier with my decision. ALL of her preferred vendors that I used were absolutely AMAZING. I had no issues with any of them. All were extremely professional, flexible, and punctual in communicating back and forth. I never once doubted that Carrie or my vendors would drop the ball on my wedding day. We spoke many times about my vision for ceremony and reception and wow did she deliver! Everything was exactly how I planned it to go.
On the day of the wedding, of course I was a bundle of nerves but Carrie did such a great job of working with all of the vendors behind the scenes and making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. The JW Marriott in Marco Island is a huge resort and I was concerned we'd lose some guests but Carrie did a fantastic job in making sure all of the bridal party, parents, grandparents, etc. knew where to be at exactly what time.
Carrie is a delight to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone considering hiring a wedding planner. She helped keep me sane through the planning process and helped to give me the best day of my life

We were planning our Naples, FL wedding from 1500 miles away in MA and I can truly say that we could not have done it without Carrie. It was crucial to have someone on site that really knew the vendors and the area and she went above and beyond in making our special day surpass all expectations! From coordinating with vendors and keeping everyone (including me) on task, right down to having a safety pin when my bustle broke during the reception, Carrie was amazing and eased all anxieties and worries! We could not have had such a fantastic wedding day without her!

Carrie Darling was the absolute best! We had been engaged for 2+ years because the thought of planning our wedding was a little overwhelming with everything else going on in our lives! She listened to our very vague description of what we wanted on our wedding day and turned it into something so special and memorable for us and for our guests. Everything from the planning, to the actual vendors she recommended (who were also wonderful) to the day-of execution was more than we could have ever hoped for! For the things that we did have specific ideas about she listened to us and then made suggestions that really improved upon our initial ideas and made them so special and fit into our wedding seamlessly. This was a destination wedding for us so we coordinated everything by phone and email, which worked out perfectly! Carrie was always quick to respond and really just so wonderful to work with!

Carrie is a dream worker!
I cannot recommend Carrie enough!!! From my first phone call with her, she put me at ease with a can-do attitude, bubbly personality and excitement for our day. I was an out of town bride, so I worked with Carrie over several in person meetings and lots of emails and phone calls. My mom was in town and Carrie would meet up with her for additional idea brainstorming and previewing and such. Carrie was always so calm and helped put myself and my mom at ease with all the details needed to bring our wedding day together. She captured the classic, timeless, yet "cozy" vibe we were hoping for. We were so pleased with every single vendor she recommended. The comfort of our guests was so important to us and Carrie helped orchestrate that everyone was well fed, had full drinks and had a blast on the dancefloor. Our guests have been giving endless compliments on all these elements. She helped transform our reception ballroom incredibly - her draping vision was so soft and stunning. My mother-in-law is an interior designer and even she could not believe the transformation!! Carrie planned our rehearsal dinner, our welcome party and our wedding day from start to finish seamlessly. I felt so RELAXED on our wedding day, which brides do not often say, and this is all thanks to Carrie.

Where do I begin! Carrie was simply the best to work with- especially living outside of Southwest Florida. She was always great with communication and making sure my (now) husband and I felt confident and comfortable in all the wedding details. She goes above and beyond the call of duty- even made us a sign for the ceremony! My favorite aspect/quality of Carrie's work is that she truly listens to what you want and highlights the event around your style, taste and personality... while being incredibly organized with all details. You're missing out if you don't have her as a wedding planner!!

Carrie Darling, with Carrie Darling Events is absolutely AMAZING! Initially, I was not sure what direction I wanted to go when it came to wedding decor. Carrie worked with me and provided multiple decor and floral proposals to ensure she understood exactly what I was looking for, except Carrie ended up going above and beyond!! On our wedding day Carrie made sure that everything exceeded our expectations. She was there to handle issues, ensure guests were where they needed to be on time and gave me such peace of mind throughout the day, she truly was heaven sent!! The floral and decor for the wedding was more than I could have ever dreamed. Carrie's attention to detail definitely did not go unnoticed, we had guests all evening comment on how beautiful and smooth everything went (even with having to change our ceremony plans the day of due to rain!). I seriously can not praise Carrie enough and am so grateful to have found her for my wedding!

We originally hired Carrie as our day of coordinator & ended up enlisting her for some of our custom decor pieces. With her husband Matt, she created & designed a mini tiki hut for our escort card display & a customized welcome directional sign. She ordered leis from Hawaii for our rehearsal & even laid the petals in a whimsical/romantic design on the beach for our STUNNING ceremony aisle. Carrie knows the ins & outs of the industry & is a creative genius when it comes to styling. She was prompt, professional & a wealth of knowledge about current trends & what would be the best choice for my wedding - given my vision and taste. She is attentive to your needs & willing to go above & beyond to ensure your day is nothing short of spectacular!! Planning with Carrie was always fun & her positive energy & over the top ideas made everything more exciting. She genuinely cares about your wedding day & makes you feel so special. There are truly no words to describe how grateful we are for all she did for us. She took care of EVERYTHING so we did not have to worry. She even hand delivered our stamped & signed wedding license to our hotel suite & snuck into our room & decorated it with flower petals as a surprise for us to come back to on our wedding night!! How sweet and thoughtful is that?!? Ultimately she took my tropical vision for my wedding day & really made it come to life. Her attention to detail & relationships with other vendors make her an asset to your team & a pleasure to work with! Where do we begin?! Carrie was absolutely INCREDIBLE every step of the way! To say that we were involved in the planning process is an understatement, but Carrie partnered with us and used her planning expertise and creativity to make our wedding weekend the most amazing weekend of our lives. We are from NYC so having Carrie's local insight was invaluable while planning a destination wedding.

WOW..where to even begin. First of all I think it speaks volumes when your family uses the same wedding planner for three events in a year! Carrie and her team are truly the most talented group in the area. Not living in Florida when you are trying to plan a wedding can be stressful but Carrie took all of that stress upon herself. She is responsive and thinks of every detail months before the wedding. She is easy to communicate with and makes the process so easy. Our wedding had a lot of personal touches that Carrie went above and beyond with. She communicated with all of our vendors ahead of time and is very organized. Her husband even constructed the most amazing escort card table to look like a football field!!! The best decision we made was hiring Carrie Darling Events. Carrie's talents are priceless.

Carrie was amazing and helped make our wedding dreams come to life. Planning a destination wedding across time zones could potentially be stressful, but Carrie made the process seamless from day one! She was so responsive and helpful in recommending and booking vendors, having our decor ideas come to life, and taking care of all the details so we could really enjoy the process and big day! Carrie is the absolute best!! From the day we engaged her until our wedding day she was the consummate professional. I wanted the reception to be at my parents' house and she made my vision come to life. Her husband Matt designed a branch centerpiece for the tent that was truly a one of its kind piece of art. Her attention to detail and creativity are amazing. Every table looked like a masterpiece. The flower arrangements were visually stunning. The way everything came together exceeded all of my expectations! She has a great work ethic that truly paid off as she paid attention to every detail of the entire day. Not only is she talented but she is so nice and a pleasure to work with. She listened to our ideas and executed on all of them. I had countless people telling me it was the best wedding they have been to and a lot if it was thanks to Carrie. She made the process stress free. Our wedding day was truly a magical day and I cannot thank Carrie enough for all of her hard work and dedication to our day. I would highly recommend Carrie to anyone as she is truly the best!

Where do I even begin?! Carrie Darling and her team made our dream wedding a reality. From day one, she was a consummate professional. She answered every single question I had (and there were a lot!), and she had the most amazing and creative ideas. A destination wedding is so tough to plan, and Carrie made it seem like an absolute breeze. With only a few inspo pics, she was able to create the EXACT decor vibe that we wanted, and I was completely blown away at how beautiful our ceremony and reception spaces looked.
Carrie also made sure that our day was executed flawlessly. She ensured that we, our families and wedding party were all relaxed and knew exactly what was going on. When I threw her a curve ball and wanted to change something at the last minute, she effortlessly made sure that it happened.
I could not recommend Carrie and her team enough. Every aspect of her service was exceptional.

Carrie planned the most beautiful wedding for my daughter. More than we could ever have imagined. Magical. Very elegant but fun. It could not have been more perfect. She is very detail oriented and just takes care of everything. She is so sweet and does everything she can to keep the process stress-free. Absolutely the best in the Naples/Marco area.

I cannot even put into words how amazing Carrie Darling and her team are. From the very beginning, Carrie was so responsive and professional, and I never was once worried or nervous about my wedding. I knew Carrie had everything under control. I had so many ideas, and Carrie brought them all to life. Being in the wedding industry, I was very hard to please, but Carrie exceeded every one of my expectations and I could not have been happier.
Carrie can customize to your needs and ensure that you are getting exactly what you need. I was completely stress free on my wedding day knowing that I had Carrie. If you don't think that you need a planner, you do! No one can do what Carrie does, and it is so worth it. My wedding on 9/13/15 was absolutely perfect and it was all because of Carrie.

I worked with her for over 2 years in planning my wedding and she was always punctual, helpful, suggestive, and understanding. I had multiple guests at my wedding tell me that they cannot believe how smoothly everything ran and how beautiful it was. Of course, I had to give all the credit to Carrie! At first, I wasn’t sure I wanted to hire a wedding planner because, I thought it would be over my budget. But, I am so glad I found Carrie Darling. From our first phone conversation, I knew I had to hire her for my wedding. She’s fabulous! I don’t know how I would have got through the day without her. Carrie was very flexible in creating a custom package for my needs. Part of my package included event design of the room including florals, décor & custom pieces based on my chosen theme, sea glass. My proposal looked great and I was so excited to see it come to life. I work in events for a living and I’ve seen a lot of weddings so, I had really high expectations to begin with. When the big day finally arrived, the décor and flowers blew me away! All Carries designs exceeded my expectations. Her vision and creativity is amazing! All my guests were really wowed. In addition to her creativity, Carrie is so organized, detail oriented and professional. I didn’t have to worry about a thing because, I knew Carrie had it covered. I knew right away that Carrie Darling Events would be the perfect fit for my husband and I when planning our wedding from across the country. Carrie adds such a unique and creative touch to every event she does. She had to balance many different personalities and always addressed each situation with patience and understanding. She put me at ease many times when I thought I was in "wedding crisis" and we ended up with a more magical evening than I ever could have imagined. She helped me fine tune my ideas and really listened to what I had envisioned to make my wedding dream a reality. She also has the patience of a saint...A trait that comes in handy when you need someone to reassure you that everything is handled in the months, weeks and days leading up to your big day. The only downside to having her as your wedding coordinator, is that when all is said and done, your going to miss having an excuse to call, chat and plan your big day with your new friend!

My wedding was gorgeous! I can only describe it as Epic! Carrie attention to all the details is perfection! When I walked in, it was like walking into a dream! Carrie did an amazing job for my daughters wedding on May 28, 2014 at the Marco Island Marriott. Carrie came highly recommended and we were not disappointed! She was truly amazing with all she did for us. It was hard planning a destination wedding knowing we would not be able to go down and see and meet people before the wedding. Carrie assured us that we were in good hands and she would take care of everything the day of the wedding so we didn't have to worry or do a thing but get ready for the big day! Carrie did as promised! From the ceremony to the cocktail hour then on to the reception everything was magnificent! She was truly there for anything that was needed. Being a New York Bride I was looking for someone that was able to step in and plan my wedding like they were me, being that I was so far away. Her name says it all! Carrie Darling was just perfect and an absolute joy to work with. She was very professional throughout our planning and I felt like she really understood what we were going for and made it happen. Flawlessly! She and her husband, Matt, are so creative and really made us feel special. They were both at the wedding until the very end (1:00 AM!!) to make sure everything was going as planned. I also want to add that Carrie was 7 months pregnant at the time - what a trooper!! They worked very well with the other vendors to coordinate everything. I wish I could have another event just to work with Carrie again. She was AMAZING as a wedding planner and a person. As a bride you may ask yourself.."Do I really need a wedding planner"..the answer is yes. Carrie Darling. She is one of the most creative people I know and truly made my wedding memorable. If you have an idea she will take is and spin it into something amazing. Last minute we moved the reception inside due to the cold weather and she made the inside look absolutely beautiful, you would have never known that until that morning we had planned an outside affair. My husband and I wanted a destination wedding in Florida, away from the cold of Ohio, and choose Marco Island as our location. Not only is it difficult to plan a wedding for 90 people locally, but trying to plan it and coordinate everything hundreds of miles away was very hard and stressful at times. Carrie Darling was absolutely wonderful in helping to create one of the best days of our lives! She planned our entire wedding from start to finish. We had a wedding at a venue that was a blank canvas. We had some general ideas of some crazy things that we wanted at the wedding and she pulled it together with a beautiful cohesive theme. Imagine trying to turn an Arts Hall into a lounge-y night club during the reception, or trying to pull together elements of an Asian theme complete with lion dancers and a tea ceremony, with a a cigar bar and cognac hour. More than just coordinating events the day of and keeping everyone sane, Carrie was amazing to work with during the brainstorming sessions - coming up with the concepts, as well as trying to keep us on schedule negotiating with vendors (even while we made it harder on her when we couldn't choose!) We had so many people tell us it was the best party (not just wedding) that they had ever been to!!! Would highly recommend Carrie for any event planning. And a big thanks also to her husband, Matt, who also helped so much in executing our vision on the day of our wedding.

We live in Las Vegas, and I had never even been to Florida before, so I understandably had some anxiety about never seeing our venue. Once I started working with Carrie, my anxiety was immediately comforted. Having traveled from Columbus, Ohio to Marco Island, FL for our destination wedding, it would have been impossible for me to be a part of every single detail our of wedding day preparation. I provided Carrie with my ideas (and pictures to supplement) and she handled the rest. Her expertise in the industry is top-tier; moreover, her attention to detail cannot be matched. Carrie went out of her way on multiple occasions to help me, and went above and beyond my expectations. Carrie was always cheerful, helpful and responded to a never ending series of e-mails promptly. I honestly do not think we could have done it without her help. She helped us with everything - makeup, photographer, lunches for the bridal suite, etc. In short, there was nothing she was unwilling to do or provide assistance with. Destination weddings offer great rewards but significant challenges. Carrie's dedication and professionalism enabled us to reap the rewards without encountering any of the difficulties. Carrie Darling Events was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process. My husband and I live in Chicago so most of our communication with Carrie was via email, phone, and text.
We hired Carrie in April and began discussing ideas for our wedding in Marco Island. It was such a wonderful experience. She is so passionate about her ideas and she truly wants to make your vision come true. She was always very responsive and a great source of ideas! We met with her in June when we came down for a visit and it was so great to "meet" her after working with her for a couple of months via phone and email. She set up our vendor appointments, make-up/hair trials, and completed a sample table/centerpiece for us. I felt at ease when we went back to Chicago knowing that Carrie would handle all of the details and ensure our wedding day was beautiful (and stress-free).
Throughout the planning process, Carrie helped me come up with numerous ideas for the wedding, welcome bags, bridesmaid's gifts, groom's cake, my accessories for the wedding, and much more! I felt like she was my a great friend not just my wedding planner. She also helped me stay on track with the planning process and created a timeline for us so we didn't have to worry about anything the day of our wedding.
The day of the rehearsal she made sure the church went smoothly, answered everyone's questions and collected all our "goodies" for our wedding day. Of course, our wedding day was perfect!! We didn't have to do anything except relax, enjoy each other, and celebrate with our family and friends. It was wonderful. Everything turned out perfectly. Carrie and her team made our day so special. All of our ideas came together and it was EXACTLY what we wanted and more! It felt surreal. We had over 80 people attend our destination wedding in Florida and everyone said it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to. It was fun, elegant, and romantic! I can't wait to see our video and all of our photos.
Overall, Carrie was a pleasure to work with and I'm sad that I won't get to talk to her anymore. I wish she was located in Chicago because I would have her plan all of our events!! Maybe a destination baby shower in a couple years?! :-)

Being a destination bride it created more of a challenge in the wedding planning process, but Carrie was there every step of the way in assisting us in creating our vision for our wedding and answering any and every question that came to mind. On the actual day of the wedding, Carrie showed her true talent. At the last minute, we had a storm blow through which caused us to have to use our plan B. Carrie was able to execute everything so perfectly that the guests didn’t even know all the changes that happened. Throughout the whole event she was calm, professional and always smiling. I first heard about Carrie Darling and Carried Away Events through Wedding Wire when I was looking for a Day-Of-Coordinator for my Marco Island wedding, and from the first inquiry I sent her, to the last moments of my reception, she was an absolute joy to work with! While there was not a large quantity of reviews on Wedding Wire for her, every review was outstanding, and I knew I'd stumbled upon someone special.
From the very beginning, months before I officially hired her, she was nothing short of enthusiastic, in a very sincere and genuine way, and there was something that set her apart from the other planners I'd contacted. Although I only hired her for the day of, she was extremely generous with her time and treated me like I was her number one priority. She didn't miss a beat, she was extremely thorough in her email replies, and it was evident that weddings were her passion.
I felt like she was one of my best friends and my wedding cheerleader during the year of planning - always interested to see the little details, willing to give her input and offer resources but never pushy or sales-y, and checking in often which helped to motivate me during those occasional moments of feeling overwhelmed or tired of planning. Despite feeling like a good friend during the planning, she was always professional, not to mention extremely organized, and perpetually upbeat and optimistic.
When I finally "met" Carrie two weeks ago, I felt like I'd known her for ages and she was just as impressive in person! We sat down and went through the details, and she was so on top of everything. At that moment, every worry and question that had arisen while planning this Florida wedding from hundreds of miles away simply melted away and I knew I was in very good hands. She took charge during the finalization meeting with the reception restaurant, and I was able to just sit back and look forward to my wedding day. In having a destination wedding, the days leading up to the wedding can be hectic and busy, but Carrie relieved all that stress and pressure and totally took the reins so that I could relax and see the fruits of my planning labor, not to mention enjoy my vacation!
Her team members Jackie and Ashley were equally outstanding and enjoyable to work with! They were responsible for the decoration set-up for our beach ceremony and restaurant courtyard decor, and so much more, and I was extremely pleased with their work and how they pulled all my little decorative elements together.
The whole team executed my event flawlessly, and I don't think I could ever thank Carrie enough for the role she played in making my wedding the fabulous and memorable event that it turned out to be.
If you are looking for a DOC, do not hesitate to contact Carrie and see for yourself how amazing she is. You will blown away by this gal!!!

If I could give Carried Away Events 100 stars I would! If you are thinking about hiring a coordinator hire Carrie! She is AMAZING! I spent over a year planning every detail of our wedding and wouldnt allow anyone help me. A few weeks before the wedding I started thinking about hiring a DOC so we could relax and enjoy our day. I was very apprehensive letting someone assist with our baby. After speaking with Carrie on the phone all my worries were gone. After meeting her I was already in relax mode. She was excellent, she paid attention to every detail! It's amazing how someone can just see "your vision"! She was always available with any question and thought. Our coordinator at the Country Club loved working with her! Her amazing team set up and ran our wedding seamlessly! We did not have one problem throughout our day, the entire day was 100% on schedule! They exceeded our expectations, if we were to ever plan another event I would hire Carrie without a hesitation. She was such a dream to work with. So if your searching for the "perfect day" Carrie and her team are a MUST HAVE! Worth every penny and some! My only regret is that I didn't hire her sooner :).

Never in my wildest dreams would I have been able to plan a winter wonderland wedding in five days!! Carrie took care of everything!! She transformed the room with the flowers as did her uplighting! Her creativity brought the penthouse to life. She actually helped me to theme our day as "winter wonderland". The photgapher was a referal and she was so fun! Carrie officiated our ceramony and made my husband and I feel as though it was a wedding for a Prince and Princess! She even wrote our vows, I tear up just thinking of how special she made us feel! When we decided to get married, we weren’t sure exactly what we needed. We were aware of the big items such as a caterer, DJ, photographer but didn’t really know where to look. We attended a wedding show and it became clear that we might need some assistance from a wedding planner (which was an item we thought was an additional expense we didn’t want).
When searching for a wedding planner, we found it difficult as the pricing and services were vague and we would need to meet with the planner before even having an estimate of the cost even with the detailed email of what we thought we needed from our planner (someone to possibly help select vendors and help with the day of the wedding). This is where Carrie greatly differed from everyone. She provided us with different service packages that already had pricing. This helped us immensely in our decision making as we could understand the differing levels of service. Our first meeting with Carrie was also very productive as we were able to better envision Carrie’s role in our wedding according to different scenarios.
Carrie was a fountain of information as well. She provided recommendations and was knowledgeable of the wedding industry in Southwest Florida. We could not have been happier with the florist and caterer that Carrie recommended. Carrie also has a keen sense of style. We provided her with the basic idea of how the reception site should look and she provided us sharp insights such as utilizing uplighting and votive candles to enhance the mood. The room itself looked fantastic and looked like we had spent much more money decorating than we had.
The best part of using Carried Away Events was that Carrie treated us as if we were her number one client. She provided exceptional service and made us feel at ease. If you are having a wedding, you should definitely talk to Carrie.

For brides looking for a peace of mind and being able to enjoy your day - Carrie is a must! I had contacted Carrie a few months prior to my wedding for day of services. She was not only very responsive, but very flexible in making time to work with me long distance. Carrie was wonderful in helping me with local vendors in Florida, while I was in Chicago. I received positive compliments from all my vendors that she coordinated with.
It was apparent how passionate Carrie is about her work! She was open to providing unbiased feedback and help all along the way. When I first met then Carrie Rosenow, it was close to her own wedding date. I was immediately very impressed with how she managed to coordinate her own wedding and few others (including ours). Carrie not only became my wedding coordinator, she became my friend. I felt very comfortable contacting her at any time for questions about wedding colors, flowers and even hair styles. We suppose that the best endorsement we could give Carrie and Carried Away Events at this point is to say that if we had to do it all over again, we would definitely use them again! It is also very important to note that we had a “destination wedding”, making Carrie’s job all the more difficult. Carrie Darling is an amazing wedding coordinator. She goes above and beyond in coordinating your wedding. She is the consummate professional at all times, and is on top of every detail. She always maintained communication and followed up with us and with every vendor, and always had an answer to all our questions. ;-) AND, most importantly... she was ALWAYS available for us! I only wish that I could have Carrie plan every major event of my life, she is an absolute dream. After deciding not to use a wedding planner through my wedding planning process, I realized I needed some extra help and expertise. I only wish that I would have realized that sooner. Carrie is extremely flexible, professional, organized, and creative. And the best feeling of all is that she truly does care about making your day be a dream day. She is on top of every detail and does not miss ANYTHING. I have attended some of Carrie's events as well and fall in love every time I see her work. Every event is so unique and equally as amazing. I would recommend Carried Away Events to everyone I know and told my husband he better make sure to use Carrie when it comes time for a Baby Shower!

The best event planner in Southwest Florida. Very professional, thourugh, and extremely creative. She took my ideas and expanded on them 10 fold. Walking into the reception was like walking into a dream. Everything was accounted for and I did not have to worry about a thing. Everything was taken care of for us and ran smoothly!! If you are looking to get rid of your wedding worries at a reasonable price, this is the vendor for you. The wedding went exactly as planned, and we wouldn't have changed a thing, as we were not disappointed. She delivered exactly what we talked about. The planner has an extensive album of creative events she has hosted(weddings and other events), very impressive!! Would count on her to plan a party with any theme!! Highly recommended!!

We hired Carrie to oversee planning for our wedding on 9/27/15 on Marco Island. She guided us through the entire process of planning from venue selection (we would not have found such a beautiful place to hold our wedding without Carrie!) to decoration ideas (including custom built centerpieces) to florals/setup and finally, to event rentals (including a surprise ice cream truck and limo departure service). Carrie brought her knowledge, intuition, experience and high taste level to every aspect of planning!
A key reason we hired Carrie was that she had connections and strong relationships with other vendors in the area. As we mentioned earlier, we would have no idea how to even go about searching let alone deciding on the final venue spot (I can't tell you how many of our friends/family commented on how unique a venue we had) This provided us with a sense of trust in all decisions as she had previously worked with the vendors we chose and had positive experiences with each. All of the vendors she recommended were tailored to our style and budget specifications.
Above all else, Carrie is friendly, passionate and truly cares about your event as much as you do. As we all know, our own wedding is the MOST important thing to us, but it is hard to find others who find it as important as you do! Carrie plans your wedding as if it were her own, making sure every detail is taken care of in order to make the event seamless. She is always there to run an idea by or talk things out. On the day of, everything is taken care of so all you have to do is relax and get married. Thanks to Carrie, our wedding was absolutely perfect!

As a bride from New York I didn’t know much of who to hire for my big day. Originally, I had planned to have my wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, but my mind was changed when I met my photographers at “New Ground” they helped me change my entire wedding so that I can have my dream come true. New Ground was definitely the top of the line, so I took their advice and went with their word. First, they referred me to go to Marriott Hotel in Marco Island… I went – Loved it and booked it! Second, they referred me to Salon Tease which I have to say coming from N.Y - David & Daniel are by far the best at what they do and…. third of all, they referred me to Carrie Darling.
I never had the pleasure of meeting face to face with Carrie since her schedule was really full and I had 1 day left in Naples before I headed out to N.Y. …We did chat a lot through email. When I first found out that Carrie was booked almost every weekend which I was interested in – I changed my wedding day to a Tuesday just to have her. I knew that by having her that day it would really make a difference. I sent her 2 photographs of exactly what I wanted and hoped that it will look identical.
The big day came and I was about to walk down the aisle. When I did, I looked up and started crying my eyes out. 1 – Because of course I was marrying my best friend and 2 – because she did an absolutely amazing job matching my photographs. I couldn’t believe that everything was exactly the way I wanted it. I couldn’t stop crying, I had so many tears of happiness. I would definitely recommend Carrie to everyone that I know!

It was a pleasure working with Carrie. Though I did not use her wedding planning services, she was very responsive to all my emails, questions and concerns about the lighting and drapery she was going to provide for my wedding. After contacting multiple vendors about draping and lighting, Carrie was the best equipped. The drapery looked stunning and totally transformed the space!! I would highly recommend it. I just wish that I ordered a few more lights so it glowed even more, but she was very flexible with me on that too because I wanted a very specific color and she did an excellent job at getting it perfect. Thanks so much Carrie!

I used Carrie for her lighting - I love the look of the string lighting outside on the terrace for an evening reception. Unfortunately, our reception was moved indoors due to weather. The string lights were also moved inside. They still gave a nice look to the room, but I don't think it was worth the price. Two strings of lights for $800 seemed pricey. I thought I would have had more lighting. I wouldn't recommend this for inside, but maybe outside would be better.

Carrie was a real pleasure to work with. We originally thought of hiring her just for her lighting expertise but then decided that she could be helpful when executing my vision for the big day. Her services were only for helping us with 2 vendors so she worked out the table linen and flowers. We did a lot of communication over the email but only met once in person to talk about the wedding details. She was really good about getting back to me. She is a really nice person and we got a long really well. We did have one issue the day of, the flowers. She works with her own florist, Ava. Our Arch did look very beautiful, made of curly willow and roses although wilted but hard to notice from far away. Our centerpieces didnt look like they were suppose to, with crystal tightly wrapped around them, almost choking the flowers, and they were peach. Our colors were light pink and fuchsia, not peach?? The bridemaids bouquets were perfect but my bouquet wasnt the one I picked out, miscommunication somewhere. The roses were suppose to be pink but were peachish pink and not the hot pink roses with feathers I picked out. Carrie fixed it and her and her florist ran out to Publix and got the right color and redid the bouquet with "fresh" flowers. So in the end it did all work out minus the centerpieces. Carrie did make sure the rest of the day went smoothly and was very professional. I do recommend Carrie for her wedding services. I do think she needs to double check all those fine details for what she does plan so that it is the exact vision of the bride and maybe even hire a new florist. No bride should get wilted flowers.
