I recently had the pleasure of working with Bride on a Budget for my wedding planning needs and I couldn't have been more impressed with their services. My partner and I selected the “Month-Of” Coordination package and from start to finish, they were incredibly attentive, professional, and accommodating, helping us create the wedding of our dreams without breaking the bank.
Their team was knowledgeable about all aspects of the wedding planning process, and their experience and expertise were evident in every detail. They listened to our ideas and preferences and provided valuable feedback and suggestions that helped bring our vision to life.
One aspect of their work product that stood out to me was the detailed timeline they created and shared with all vendors. This helped everyone involved in the wedding day stay organized and on the same page and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Additionally, their communication with all vendors a month before the wedding was a huge weight off our shoulders, and it helped to alleviate any potential issues or miscommunications.
On the day of my wedding, Bride on a Budget truly shined. They guided our guests through the different parts of the event, cued the DJ for the ceremony and reception, and were constantly attentive to our needs. We didn't have to worry about a thing – I truly felt like I was floating - and were able to fully enjoy our special day. Mitzi and Linda, the team members who worked our event, were amazing and clearly have the experience and knowledge to excel in this industry.
One illustration of the way that they went above and beyond was when our photographer casually lamented that the photo would be better if a few parked cars were not in the frame. Mitzi and Linda, overhearing from a distance, sprang into action, found the owners of the cars, and had them moved within a matter of minutes, allowing our photographer to capture the perfect shot.
Overall, I would highly recommend Bride on a Budget to anyone looking for a top-notch wedding planning company that can deliver amazing results. Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to their clients make them a standout in the industry, and I couldn't be happier with the way my wedding turned out. I am SO GLAD we hired Mitzi and her team for our wedding! We hired Bride on a Budget after moving our wedding from VA to TX. We were worried about the challenge of planning a wedding from 2000 miles away, but Mitzi put us at ease immediately. From the first meeting with Mitzi, we felt confident that she would make the planning process run smoothly. Her planning portal was an invaluable resource and took out so much of the headache of finding and vetting vendors. She and her team took great care of us for the month of our wedding and did so much awesome work behind the scenes. Our rehearsal and wedding ran so smoothly and she and Linda did a great job making sure my grandparents were taken care of.
When we started planning our wedding, it felt like a nightmare, but thanks to Mitzi, it became a dream come true. I could not recommend Mitzi and her team more! -

We booked Bride on a Budget for our wedding last weekend. We went with the Decor Planning + Day of Coordination package. I'm not a very creative person so the decor was something I needed the most help with.
From the start, Mitzi was a tremendous help. We booked many of the vendors she recommended that we may not have even considered at first. They all exceeded our expectations and were such a pleasure to work with.
Throughout the entire planning process, Mitzi was always happy to give us advice and answer questions. As for decor, we gave Mitzi some initial ideas of what we were thinking of doing. She took that and put together a whole lookbook that included color palettes, flowers, linens, etc. All of the details such as how many linens we would need of each kind, what flowers to use and not to use, and anything else you could think of was in there. We were able to send it to florists to give them better direction and get more accurate quotes.
On the day of our wedding, my husband and I did not have to worry about a single thing. Mitzi and her assistant, Lily, took care of absolutely everything. Mitzi's detailed timeline kept us on schedule (even ahead of time) and she communicated with all of our vendors throughout the day. When we finished the ceremony, she had food ready and plated for us so we could sit and eat in peace for a few minutes.
I can't even imagine how our day would go without Mitzi and Lily's help. They are so organized and the passion for what they do truly shows, even though I'm sure dealing with stressed brides who spend thousands of dollars on the most important days of their lives is not easy. If you're looking for a professional and experienced planner who thinks of everything and will prioritize your happiness, look no further and book Mitzi! -

Mitzi and her team were the BEST decision we made for our wedding. We were an out-of-town couple and her services were essential to Nate and I having a stress-free day. We knew Mitzi would take care of everything and she really did. We booked her services, filled out the questionnaire, and then we had a meeting (we did the month wedding planning services because we felt comfortable booking our vendors and planning the small details), we gave Mitzi the run down of what we wanted for the day, and she helped execute it perfectly the day of! She came to our rehearsal, was very professional, knew our venue and all of our vendors really well (she knows everyone!), and everything went seamlessly. She was our personal JLO! She had a little satchel and fixed our wedding parties croissages as they came undone. She was just perfect and the quality of the work she achieves for the prices she charges is a steal. Could not recommend her more for allowing us to have our perfect day and to really enjoy it with friends and family and not have to worry about a thing!! -

Mitzi & her assistant Linda coordinated our wedding on 3/7/2021 at our wedding venue in New Braunfels, TX. She was such a darling the entire time, willing to answer all my questions (I HAD SOOO MANY!) throughout the time after booking. We LOVE her Client Portal which gave us so many suggestions for vendors she has worked with and we loved every one of the vendors she sent our way! Our day was super smooth and everything me and my fiance expected! Our family continues to complement her service and I have recommended Mitzi to all my friends. Mitzi is super professional and knowledgeable and she was able to help us out with everything we needed and more! Bride on a Budget is perfect for every bride who does not see herself spending $2,000 on a wedding coordinator. I cannot imagine why anyone would have anything to complain out, because I was pretty much a bridezilla the whole time, and Mitzi was able to keep me happy and stress-free the whole time! Mitzi is a super kind person and I would highly recommend her to all San Antonio brides!!!! -

Mitzi is the best! She made all of my wedding planning headaches go away. Not only that, the day of my wedding was perfect. Not a thing went wrong. And if it did, I wasn't burdened with it. I only wish I had found Mitzi sooner. Bride on a Budget has my highest recommendation! -

We just got married on 2/1/2020, but we booked Mitzi at last year's bridal show, and she was super sweet, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire time! At first, we just booked her for the day-of coordination, but then we quickly realized the process was just a little too much! So we asked if we could "add on" the wedding planning to our existing package. She was very flexible and worked out a package that we were comfortable with! Every single one of her vendor recommendations was SPOT ON in budget and the experience we wanted! She even helped me cut ties with a photographer that I had hired early on who was quickly not panning out to be what I wanted. She is a true professional and was always very open and honest with her advice. We wanted someone who could be with us as a "wedding expert", and she truly did that for us during the last 6 months of the planning process. I will say that sometimes it took Mitzi a little while to get back to me, but I knew that we had a Timeline to follow and as long as we were checking off the items by the end of the month, we were good! She was awesome at keeping my "wedding anxiety" at bay, and even offered to show up a little bit earlier on the day-of just to make sure things were getting done as we wanted. Mitzi was a complete life-saver, and I would recommend her again and again! 100% worth the money we paid, and she made the day go by better than we imagined! We love her and Linda, her assistant. I hired Mitzi about 14 months before our wedding. We did not have a venue, and we had a wedding month but no date set in stone. My fiancée and I are so busy that we decided it would be best to hire a planner. BEST DECISION EVER!!!!!! We did not have the biggest budget, but we knew that it was important to make it possible to hire some wedding help. Mitzi was always so helpful and attentive. Because of our limited schedule we could only go to few venue tours, and only meet with a couple of vendors. Mitzi made it so EASY! She is very knowledgeable about vendors in the area, and the ones we met with were the perfect fit! Many vendors also gave us discounts because she was our planner!!! On wedding day, I felt so calm and happy! I knew that everything was going as planned and Mitzi and her assistant were great! Hire Mitzi!!! We love her! -
