I don't even know where to begin to describe the experience we had with KAT & ASHLEY!! If we did not have these girls for my cousins Bach party in Vegas, We would be a total hot mess, lost, and just no movement lol! They went above and beyond for us!! We had an itinerary, sent it over to them and they took over EVERYTHING!!! I am talking about the smallest things to the biggest, whether it was just to bring us ice, go shopping for alcohol, groceries, handling all reservations, transportation, ANYTHING & EVERYTHING!! These girls were over the top, sweet, funny, caring, and YOUNG!!!!! They did not leave our sides until they knew everything was OK and we were in with no problem. EVERYONE should really look into having KAT, ASH and the BACH TO BASIC TEAM to be a part of their special event. I PROMISE THEY WILL NOT DISAPPOINT. They take pride in what they do very confidently. They work with a great group of vendors as well. From the decor, photographer, themed DELICIOUS cookies. AHHHH, Can we go back??!

Bach to Basic is a MUST for your Bachelorette
Using Bach to Basic for my bachelorette trip to Austin TX was the best decision I have ever made! I selected the Tier 3 VIP Experience and it was incredible. Ashley was amazing to work with. She was super communicative, professional, and has great taste. She set up our Air BnB before we arrived and it was stunning. She also got us the cutest party favors/swag for my bridal party. Every single one of my friends had the absolute best time and that is all thanks to Bach to Basic! You simply need to hire them for your bachelorette! -

Allison from Bach to Basic made the entire planning process of my Bachelorette Party effortless. She took out a lot of the guesswork, the difficult payment collection, and created the entire design for the weekend. Having her there on the trip was amazing as she came through with the hangover cures and early morning coffee delivery and beautiful decorations throughout the suite. Bach to Basic is a must if you want to have the best Bachelorette Weekend possible! -

No stress Bach!
I have always fantasized about the perfect bachelorette (maybe more then my wedding) in New Orleans - my favorite destination! I can to B2B and they totally knowing I had way too much in my plate to plan this and not wanting to sacrifice the details that make a Bach weekend great! I was relieved when they took care of all the finances and planning/booking and I got to just focus on getting excited! The entire weekend was incredible and in a group of girls that have gone to many bachs this one was the one to beat. Our B2B host was always a text away and kept checking in and giving little itinerary reminders which was perfect. Can’t say enough wonderful things about letting these professionals take over and wow me! -

I was in charge of plannig my sister's bachlorette in Nashvill last year and could NOT have done it without the help of the Bach to Basics crew! Not only did they help create the most amazing itinerary (full of both traditional "must do" activities, but also plenty of unique experiences (especially with dining). PLUS, we were all flying in from different states, so to arrive at our Air BNB with a fully stocked fridge and a beautifully decorated place, was truly a Godsent! Finally, there happened to be a storm and a major Nascar event that weekend so some things on our itinerary had to change last minute, but thank goodness for the BTB team, I made one simple phone call and they were able to handle everything. It truly was an exceptional experience. 10 out of 10 reccommend! -

I used Bach to Basic to plan my 20 person bachelorette party in the Catskills this past weekend and they did nothing short of an exceptional job. They found the coolest venue to host the party and coordinated literally everything: from meals to swag (that was perfectly laid out in the house when we got there) to activities and more. Everyone at the party was so impressed with how it was organized. It was easily the easiest/best bach-related decision I made and recommend it to anyone! -

I honestly can't say enough about Bach to Basic - they are the absolutely BEST! Seriously, they planned my Miami bachelorette party from start to finish without any issues. My girls are I are a group of 14 and they set us up in the best hotel in South Beach. They also took care of 2 dinners (Baoli and Kiki on the River) with a beautiful family style meal and included liquor which was prepaid. Everything was seamless. No one had to bring their CC out which made splitting up everything so easy. They also took care of our private boat excursion in Miami and let me tell you it was the BEST day by far. They are quick to respond, work with your budget to make everything amazing for the bride and they send an online itinerary to all the girls so everyone knows exactly what is planned and at what time.
Bach to Basic is anything but basic, they are rockstars at what they do and I would recommend them again and again to all future maids of honor planning a bach or to the bride themselves who needs an extra hand (like me lol)!
Thank you girls for a beautiful weekend, it was absolutely perfect!!

Allison and Bach to Basic are incredible. So responsive and made me feel like I had a partner in planning the event. It is extremely challenging to plan a bachelorette in this environment but also so critical for the bride to experience a stress-free trip celebrating her after the struggle to plan a wedding. I don't think we would have been able to do this without Allison setting everything up. Thank you, thank you, thank you! -

You must hire Bach to Basic!!!
I am so thankful for Allison and her help planning my best friend’s bachelorette party!! Allison did everything from planning deliveries to taking payments from each bridesmaid. She was available all weekend incase we needed her for any questions. Allison also went above and beyond when our bachelorette weekend had to be rescheduled due to weather. We are so glad we used Bach to Basic for our Miami bachelorette party and will definitely be using them in the future! Thanks again!!! -

Bach to Basic had been referred to me by a trusted friend who had an incredible experience using the service for a bachelorette in Mexico. The trusted referral knew I was planning an entire bachelorette party remotely while working full-time. What’s so fantastic about Bach to Basic is that Allison can be of assistance for as little or as much as you need her to. I already had a loosely based itinerary of activities when Bach to Basic came onboard. Allison helped with scheduling, taking payments from all the ladies so it wouldn’t kill our buzz at dinner when trying to split a bill and communicating with all the vendors. She had amazing suggestions and problem solved any issue that came up. Like when one of the girls canceled the day payment was due.
Allison was extremely communicative, reliable and trustworthy. Planning an entire bachelorette party remotely to a place I had never been, could have been a recipe for disaster and I couldn’t have done it without her.
Because of Bach to Basic the bachelorette party was 110% seamless and flowed effortlessly. I was able to be present and savor every moment with the bride and all of our closest friends.
I will most certainly recommend Allison and Bach to Basic to every bachelorette I’m attending! -

Bach to Basic and Allison are AMAZING. They go above and beyond with arrangements for the weekend to make sure everything is good to go. We went to amazing restaurants, that all knew why we were there and they treated us as such. Everything was prepared and ready to go, everywhere we went. Allison made sure that we had everything we needed and the weekend was perfect. I am SO happy and thankful we used Bach to Basic. Everyone should use them. You will not be disappointed! -

Allison was an absolute lifesaver when it came to planning my sister's destination bachelorette party! When the bride requested Savannah as the destination, panic set in - as I had never been there before or even planned a bachelorette party before. But, after hearing about Bach to Basic from a friend, Allison was there to save the day. She completely customized our itinerary based on my ideas and even altered things based on my suggestions. It was a perfect combination of sight-seeing, activities, and adult beverages (of course!). She checked in with me the entire process and made everything very stress-free. Since everything was paid for in advance, it was so great to not have to worry about splitting checks and confirming reservations. I HIGHLY recommend Bach to Basic to anyone planning a bachelorette party! -

With all of my bridesmaids living in different states, me working full time nights in the hospital, and my maid of honor getting married a few short months after me, we were not in a good place for planning. That being said, I needed to take some of the weight off of everyone and make planning as easy and fun as possible. Did some research and found Bach To Basic.. She saved us. She was able to plan a weekend in Miami in just a few short days with an online itinerary visible to all of my bridal party. At the last minute, we ditched Miami and wanted to go to Vegas, and that wasn’t an issue for B2B.
Without hesitation she promptly started working on planning our weekend in Vegas… A few more days later, it was done. YOU GO GIRL! We had a super cute suite with a great view that somehow fit into our budget. On arrival, we were greeted with something like 8 bottles of bubbly and a fully catered dinner in our room. The weekend proceeded with various parties at some of the hottest spots in Vegas. We brunched and even had breakfast in bed one morning. She arranged for us to have 2 hair stylists come to our room and do our hair for the night. Bach To Basic literally planned a perfect weekend for us.
She was so polite and patient with me and the girls and our indecisiveness. She made herself readily available to us the entire weekend and made a point to follow up with us right after the party to make sure we were happy with EVERYTHING. You can tell that she is passionate about this job. I loved Bach To Basic so much that I used her again to plan my friends bachelorette party in Nashville!
If you’re considering it, just do it. You wont regret it. :) -

From grocery delivery/alcohol delivery to catered in Torchys Tacos, the whole process was very simple! I found Allison on Instagram and wasn't sure if I would be able to get everyone on board with a vague proposal, but Allison blew me out of the water when she was able to give me a full, detailed itinerary of what we could do in less than 24 hours (and before we booked her...that speaks volume). I gave her the city we were wanting to visit for the bachelorette, a budget, and told her we wanted to do everything there was to do in Charleston. She sent us house rental recommendations, bar suggestions, booked dinner reservations for us, sent decorations, had champagne delivered to the hotel, and my favorite...had brunch delivered to our hotel room. She took the stress away from planning the weekend and made sure that the bride and the entire bridal party felt taken care of. Will be booking Allison for MANY more events in the future! -

I cannot say enough good things about Allison. I was asked to be Matron of Honor when I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I knew I would need help managing the planning and Bach to Basics saved me.
Due to COVID, we had to replan this bachelorette party 4 times. Each time, Allison was accommodating and patient. When our original location didn't have many accommodations available, she helped me shift the whole party to a new city.
The best part about the weekend is that everyone paid upfront so I didn't have to go collecting money from everyone. We literally just showed up places and everything was handled. Most importantly, the bride was happy and felt special and loved.
Thank you Allison and Bach to Basics! Seriously would have been lost without you! xoxox -

Costa Rica was beautiful and the weather was perfect with no rain as it was originally expected throughout our stay. A couple hiccups did occur and/or miscommunication.
1. We had a semi-difficult time getting through the security gate at the villa, as they couldn't confirm us for some reason.
2. When we finally got in to Villa Solana everything was beautiful. Mergie did meet us there and explained all the features of the house, answered questions if needed, and gave pointers for making our stay smoother.
3. Transportation - The original transportation service gentleman Fabian was amazing and so kind to us. Almost like a father figure. He was always willing to stop and show us around while driving through areas. However, when we needed additional transportation aside from the scheduled itinerary, we would message Mergie a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour prior to needing transport for a different person to pick us up. Cash was always highly recommended to pay. It seemed a bit pricey and this is why she recommended golf cart rentals.
4. Golf Carts - Mergie had stated she recommended this options to be booked prior to arriving so the golf carts would be readily available the moment we arrived, however we were not provided this option upon booking. She mentioned she stated this in correspondence between you and her. We were able to book some luckily on day 2 and 3 of our trip.
5. Private catamaran - The address that was provided in the itinerary was not the address of actual drop off. It was a restaurant address. Luckily our driver Fabian had 10 minutes to spare upon arrival of that original address and asked the workers there where the drop off would actually be. It was another 7 minute drive, which got us all nervous we were going to miss our reservation. Luckily Fabian got us there and made sure we got to the right people before he left us.
6. Private Massages - The massages were amazing! However, they refused to leave unless we paid them for "Transportation and to leave" Apparently the price we paid was not including them to "leave." That was very odd to me as we all had the assumption everything is already paid in advance. They ended up saying since we didn't know they will go but we need to tip them. I had to tip for them to leave.
Other than the above, everything else turned out beautifully for the bride and tribe. -

I wanted to wait until after my experience with Bach to Basic. Short story: I’m extremely disappointed in the experience with this planning service.
We started this process six months in advanced. We communicated what our ideal budget was. They made us an itinerary and when we got the final headcount they didn’t communicate how the price DOUBLED because fewer people signed up than we initially started. So when first payment was due (60d out from trip), we realized the budget was not honored and had to rearrange ALOT of things last minute, including the hotel. I totally understand that the price doubled because of headcount, what I didnt appreciate was not being informed by my planner that we were outside of our budget and exceeded it by a lot. She didnt even ask us if we were willing to go outside the budget. She assumed that we could pay double the price that we stated.
Now let’s talk hotel. We wanted an all inclusive. It’s pricier but we were told manageable in our budget (which see above, maybe this was misinformation). But during the rearranging, due to budget constraints, the hotel she suggested to fit our budget was far away from everything excursion-wise planned. Which wasn’t communicated to me. I found out when I had to personally plan majority of the transportation (which … IMO is part of a budget idk). Should I have done research on where the hotel was located, absolutely. However, I wish she had communicated that choosing this cheaper all inclusive would set us further away from things *she* had planned.
Let’s talk about the transportation nightmare. This was such a stressful headache especially since she didn’t explain that somethings were far since she changed us to an all inclusive outside the hotel zone. I tried to find a shuttle booking service for everything, and most things were a 40min + travel time which as you can guess for a group of ten gets expensive. I asked her for help in regards to transportation which she was unresponsive and said get a taxi. Everywhere I read people said with a big group you should try to prebook all of your taxis. However, I had a hard time finding solutions to getting places. So many shuttles I tried to book, canceled on me. With us being so far from everything, stressed me out the entire trip. On top of it all, she made me feel like I was being ridiculous by stressing about getting and planning taxis in a foreign country. Another poor communication piece of my experience. Luckily we had three people in our group who spoke and understood Spanish so they were able to help get us taxis.
Another transportation note: the ONE transport shuttle she actually did book for us(read: so that is actually possible), she didn’t communicate that she didn’t prepay it. All the shuttles I prebooked (even though most were canceled/refunded by the service due to restrictions with taxi union), were prepaid. So when the shuttle delivered us to our final destination and demanded payment, I told them that our planner had already paid. they had to call their company and I thought I was double paying because we couldn’t get our planner on the phone to clear this up. On top of all that the text exchange we had regarding it was incredibly unprofessional. She dropped the ball. She was apparently supposed to Venmo me the shuttle money from our groups total, she didn’t and took no responsibility nor even apologized for not communicating that this was something to expect. (I have receipts of this very unprofessional exchange, for the record)
She was pretty unresponsive most of the time email wise. Felt like I had to constantly send a bump email to remind her she hadn’t answered or responded to my initial email. Like when we returned from our trip, I wanted an itemized list of our expenses on the trip. I had to email her three separate times to get receipts or any sort of response over a week timeframe. It was like pulling teeth to get our price break down. Honestly, this service is dealing with a lot of Money, the way they organize it does not seem to be very organized. Also, frankly, it’s kinda a red flag when the planner is questioning why people want a price breakdown. Good business practice is transparancy. I think it’s completely reasonable and within our rights as a customer to receive a price breakdown. We paid for a service, give a receipt of service.
Let’s talk decor: personal decorator was out of budget and I asked her for help because I personally don’t have that eye. Gave her pictures of what the bride wanted. She sent me suggestions. I told her what I liked and didn’t. The package that came in, quite frankly was disappointing. I ended up buying a garland with my own money and setting that up. (Even the balloon inflater she sent was broken) Honestly we didn’t use any of the things she sent. She texted me to ask what I thought of the decor when it got to my house, I did say it was okay (Which totally should have expressed how it wasnt great, but figured I could hopefully make it work) I did tell her the yellow balloons are a McDonald’s yellow not a pale yellow like we discussed. She responded with a picture of the balloon she sent, which was pale but these were not. I blew it up and sent her a picture but she didn’t respond or acknowledge that yeah that wasn’t what I wanted. At least acknowledge that it was indeed the wrong color. Also this is I guess my bad, I should have checked the dimensions of the “bride” letter balloons. We sent her a picture that they (Bach to Basic) posted with the bride balloons we wanted so I assumed (which pro tip never assume anything with this planning service) she would know the ones to get. I got to the hotel in Cancun and opened the package for the first time and realized how huge they were and another thing not what we asked for. And on top of that… most of the letters didn’t stay inflated but 10-15min at a time. Which means we didn’t end up using them and that was the ONE decor request my bride specifically specified.
I went with Bach to Basic because their message is to take the stress out of planning a bachelorette trip and make something memorable for your bride and bachelorette party. This was a miserable experience. I felt like they were incredibly unorganized, non responsive, unprofessional, and dismissive. As an aerospace engineer, who works in high pressure environments, I wish I had planned it myself at the end of everything. This was so stressful with them that I wanted it to be over before it even began. We had a wonderful group of people who made light and supported me through the weekend stresses, which I’m EXTREMELY thankful for. I am thankful that my bride-to-be was also extremely helpful and understanding. I had to involve her in WAY more than I wanted to in this trip Because of all the hiccups and replanning we had to do. It was not only putting unnecessary stresses on me, but also my bride, which really angered and frustrated me the most.
I just want people to be aware of the missteps and room for growth and humility this company obviously needs to work on. I saw their Instagram, their social media hype made them seem like the perfect solution to provide my bride the most incredible experience. Bach to Basic did not provide a less stressful NOR professional experience. If I could do it all again, I would go with an actual travel planner or book things on my own.
Maybe they are undertaking too many Bach groups to be able to provide the services they claim to provide. Or maybe they haven’t planned a cancun trip, or maybe they expect you to be willing to go way above your budget. Whatever it is, I’m so glad to be home and done working with Bach to basic.
