Our Magical Dream Wedding

In 2024, on a trip to England and Scotland which included a seven-day Outlander tour, there was a surprise proposal on the steps of Midhope Castle, known by Outlander fans as "Lallybroch". We also had a planned special Celtic Handfasting Commitment Ceremony in the Highlands. We then began thinking about a uniquely us wedding which would be just as magical. Last year, we booked bucket list trip #2, a 2026 cruise of the Hawaiian Islands with our best friends. We did some searching to see if a Maui wedding would be possible while in port there. We found Aloha Maui Dream Weddings, and our dream wedding came to be. Darci was amazing. She handled everything and all we had to do was show up. First step for us was to fill out a detailed questionnaire so she got to know who we were, and it was truly planned just for us. She handled all the details, quickly answered any questions we had through email or text, reassured us all would be fine when threats of storms were in the news. She found the perfect location at Makena Cove Beach for our ceremony and was there with us on our special day. Reverend Kuya performed our beautiful ceremony. It truly felt like he knew us. We also did a memorial lei toss in memory of my parents and all our grandparents which meant so much to us. Penny (Penny Palmer Photography) captured the beauty of the beach, our emotions of excitement, love, happy tears and even a few laughs during the ceremony and our first pictures as Newlyweds on beautiful Makena Cove Beach. So hard to choose our favorite photos, we purchased the whole gallery. It was truly a magical wedding which we will never forget. Mahola to Darci, Penny and Reverend Kuya for our most magical wedding! As one who likes to plan everything out, it was a leap of faith to just let someone else take care of everything and just show up; however, Darci had it planned perfectly leaving it stress free for us. We may just be back in touch in years to come to have a vow renewal ceremony done by our Aloha Maui Dream Weddings ohana!

Darci is amazing!

10/10 would recommend to anyone to elope in Maui! Throughout our engagement, we really were not looking forward to planning the big "traditional" American wedding that was going to cost us well over $30k! Darci took what we wanted as a couple & made it come to life. The whole process was easy...we booked a trip to Maui & Darci took care of the rest. Marriage license - done; photographer - amazing, officiant - felt like family! It was perfect & exactly what we WANTED! No pressure from family, no timeline -- just us on a "secret" beach in Maui! It was absolutely magical! Thank you Darci, Penny & Robert ... the A+ team!

A dream wedding to remember

This was everything my husband and I could have asked for. Darci was excellent to work with. She alleviated all the stress and was attentive to every detail. Anytime I reached out with questions, she would reply promptly. Her team of officiants, videographers, photographers, musical styles, and florists was all wonderful to work with. It was just the two of us for our wedding, and they all made us feel welcome and at home in our element.

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony back in March. I remember when she first floated the idea of doing a wedding in Hawaii I thought it was crazy and would be way more work than it could be worth. Fantastic!

My now husband and I wanted to have a simple and short ceremony for just us on our 9-year anniversary, and Darci made it perfect for us. She was kind, responsive, helpful, and personable! Penny took fantastic photos that we’ll always treasure. She, too, was incredibly kind! Jackie did my hair and makeup wonderfully, and it was so stress-free. Amazing 30th and 40th anniversary celebrations and ceremonies!

We used Penny Palmer and Darci for our 40th anniversary vow renewal ceremony and family photographs. They took care of all of the details for the ceremony. The event and creative photography were perfect.
We used Penny and Darci for our 30th anniversary and loved our pictures so much that we came back for more!!! They pictures are hanging in our house so we can cherish the memories of that day. my screensaver on my computer is our family picture.
We did the ceremony and photo session at Napili Bay Beach, with the sunset in the background. The sunset was spectacular and stunning.
I highly recommend using Darci and Penny for any anniversary or special event. They make every picture special.

Simply amazing!

Darci and her team at Aloha Maui Dream Weddings made our special day absolutely perfect. From finding us a gorgeous spot on the beach of a hidden cove for our wedding ceremony, to talking us through the event and its planning…every step of the way. This experience definitely exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend this group. Starting with the Hair Stylist/Makeup artist, Jackie, who arrived at our hotel, which for her was an hour away, at 4:30am to get a nervous bride ready for her big day and made her feel very beautiful. To our awesome photographer, Ian, who spent so much time with us making sure to get those perfect shots at the most flattering angles, and timing them in between some really unpredictable, but spectacular, crashing waves. And of course, our Hawaiian Minister, Robert, who was soooo wonderful; the tear-filled ceremony was simple yet beautiful and more than we could ever have hoped for. All brought together of course by Darci, who’s warm demeanor which quickly puts you at ease, handled everything with complete professionalism and grace.

Aloha Maui Dream Weddings helped to create one of the most memorable experiences of our lives…and from the bottom of our hearts, we are so thankful!!

Amazing.. They did an AMAZING job!

Darci and her team went above and beyond to help with our small wedding. They were flexible in the planning as we had a change in numbers and found us an officiant when ours could not come. The wedding was beautiful and everything I could have asked for and wanted. The officiant was beyond what we had expected and did an amazing job!
She did a last minute drop-off of our flowers so we could have them in all the pictures. The team was truly the best!

Could not have hired a more perfect wedding coordinator

I can express the feeling of love I have for Darci for helping plan the absolute perfect wedding. She took the time to get to know us. When the fire happened she was in tough everyday encouraging us to still come and helped us move everything to the other side of the island.

February wedding

Darci was wonderful to work with. I sent in a request and within a few mins she responded. She had everything prepared for our wedding, flowers, photographer, cake and officiant and no stress for us as a couple. Our wedding was during Hawaii winter season but the beach she recommended was perfect weather on the day of our wedding. Robert the officiant was wonderful and Ian the photographer did a great job. Thanks to Darci we enjoyed a vacation with a wedding included and did not have to worry about making sure anything was done. Darci goes above and beyond and helps make a special occasion amazing.

Unforgettable

Our wedding was an absolute dream. Darci was incredible at making the planning process go as smooth as possible. We had a hiccup beforehand and werent sure if our officiant Robert Kuya would be able to make it, and Darci was able to get another in time. Both officiants ended up making it, and both Kahu Alalani and Robert Kuya performed our ceremony. It felt extra special and we will always have a piece of our hearts here. Definitely recommend!

October 2022 Wedding

My husband and I had been engaged since 2018 and the pandemic had sidelined our initial wedding plans in California. The best day of our lives

Our wedding was the most magical, beautiful, and fun day of our lives. Darci effortlessly pulled all of the details together to make it possible. I communicated with her via text and phone throughout the course of 7 months, she was always patient, kind, and answered all of my questions. On the day of, Darci and Penny were just fantastic. Their attitudes were contagious, and they made everyone feel comfortable. Darci very clearly told us what we needed to do and we really felt like we were in capable hands. A magical experience

With this being our first trip off the mainland US and not knowing what to expect, these wonderful ladies brought us the experience of a lifetime. We expected a run of the mill conveyor belt wedding service and were provided a breathtaking experience where we were catered to, explained, and put as the center of attention every step of the way. We were asked to provide a synopsis of our relationship prior to our vacation and were astounded when they recalled so many details, as if they did their homework to tailor the experience to us with extreme precision. Everything we wanted

Due to work circumstances, we had to quickly plan our trip to Maui which meant we had no time to plan a wedding. I emailed Aloha Maui Dream Weddings while sitting at dinner and had a response from Darci within minutes. We texted for a while that evening and we got all the information we needed to make a decision the next day. Three days later we got married with a wonderful officiant at Po’ Olenalena Beach. Darci was in constant communication leading up to the wedding and even the morning of the wedding as we were driving down to the south coast due to the huge waves. The ceremony was beautiful and Darci and Penny took great care to take pictures safely due to the waves. Darci’s positive attitude and encouragement during the whole process was amazing and so helpful. She put our minds at ease and really helped us focus on the moment and our wedding.

Amazing Experience

Darci and team were amazing to work with. They were a joy to work with throughout the entire wedding process. Even went above and beyond and changed the entire venue the day before the wedding due to swells taking out a chunk of the ideal section of beach that we had planned. She moved us to another beach which turned to be even better than we originally chose. I can’t say enough about Darci and her team of professionals. We put our trust in her and she did not disappoint. All of our expectations were far exceeded well beyond what we expected. She loves what she does and it not only shows in how she works with you but throughout all aspects of the experience. We had so much fun with Darci and her team that we also scheduled a Trash The Dress photoshoot with them as well while we were on Maui.

Aloha Maui Dream Weddings

If you want to get married on Maui (and I think you do), this is the company to contact. One email sets the ball rolling, and everything you need gets covered—even if you didn’t know you needed it. Ours was a purposely casual, toes in the sand event, because that’s the kind of people we are, but even those small affairs have a lot of behind the scenes things that need to be handled . If you’re not from there, it’s hard to know all the rules, so a local planner is really helpful. AMDW did it all—permits, license appointment, officiant, and all the info we needed to complete before and after we arrived. All we had to do was show up and kick off our shoes. 100% seamless in the paperwork process and our officiant, Reverend Kuya, was wonderful. He put everyone at ease immediately, which allowed us to relax and have fun while he bestowed us with a beautiful and meaningful blessing. The only issue we had was it would have been nice to have different locations as part of the add-ons for the lower price packages because we ended up spending a lot of time in the car driving to the one location they did offer in our price range. It was a nice beach, just a long drive from where we were staying.

Wonderful!

I really enjoyed working with Darci at Aloha Maui Dream Weddings! Out the gate she was timely, encouraging and knowledgeable. In person Darci made sure our wedding was on time, organized and exactly what I wanted. She convinced me to do an early morning wedding at Po'olenalena Beach (originally I wanted to do a sunset wedding) and I was so glad she did! The temperature was much cooler, the lighting was just right & we had the rest of the day to celebrate. It was overwhelming combing through all the companies in Maui that offer wedding services, and I am so happy I decided to go with Darci! Thank you for everything!

Wonderful Wedding

My husband and I decided to get married a week before the big day. I called Darci to see if this could work, and she made the process so easy. Between arranging the marriage license, flowers, hair/makeup, wedding official, music, photos, and video, really all we had to do was make a few decisions and show up. So easy and stress free!

We can't speak highly enough about our experience with the fantastic people at Aloha Dream Weddings. Darci and Penny were AMAZING!
It's usually very difficult planning a wedding or event from thousands of miles away from the location, but with these guys, it was seamless and stress-free. They were responsive, professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and extremely helpful the day of. They literally handled EVERYTHING! We were able to enjoy our beautiful day without worry, which was the most important thing to us. Darci and Penny aren't just amazing at what they do, they are amazing people as well. Awesome experience!!

My husband and I were married in September 2021 and worked very closely with Darci and her team at Aloha Maui Dream Weddings. Darci and her team were so wonderful!! Every detail was handled and all questions were answered very quickly. By the time we got to Hawaii I was confident everything would be handled perfectly and it certainly was. Darci and her team made sure communication was clear and frequent taking the guesswork out of trying to plan a wedding from afar. I don’t know where to start!

When covid hit, my husband and I were contemplating even going on Maui. I’m glad we decided to go! Darci has been nothing but caring, organized, and responsive! Every time I would text her freaking out, she would calm me down. LOL Fast forward to our wedding day, I wish it didn’t go by as fast as it did. During the ceremony and photos afterwards, she took care of our 2 daughters by keeping them occupied the entire time and they just loved her too! Ian, our photographer was absolutely incredible! Not only did he take his time with the precision of his photos, but he also educated us on a lot of things we would have never known about Hawaii 😍 Also, many mahalo’s to Reverend Kuya for blessing us and making us feel welcomed on Maui! If you are planning on going on Maui to renew vows or get married, this team of amazing people will take care of you! Mahalo for making my dreams come true and capturing them ❤️❤️ one love 🤙🏽

Just Perfect

Great experience from the beginning to the end! Darcy has been super helpful all along the process. She was always available to answer all our questions, and she made things super easy for us. The ceremony was just perfect, everything went smooth, we just had to enjoy, Darcy was taking care of everything else! We definitely recommend her if you want to get married in Maui. Prices were affordable compared to the other packages and we like the fact that things were easily customizable and could match what we wanted.

Wedding of our dreams!

My husband and I got married on May 3rd, 2021 and the day was nothing short of perfect. Darci helped me with every thing along the way no matter how big or small it was! STOP RIGHT HERE! Aloha Maui Dream Weddings IS it!

Look no further! I promise you it does not get better than Aloha Maui Dream Weddings!! Darci, Penny, and the rest of the wedding team are the definition of a dream team! Our wedding was rescheduled due to the pandemic. We weren't really sure how if it would work out this year but it did and it the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Darci and Penny kept in contact with us throughout the year checking in and giving updates. It was great using that time to build a foundation of trust. They really care about their clients and it shows! When the date got closer they were so helpful in reminding us about testing, coordinating with the State of Hawaii to get our marriage license, providing any recommendations during our stay in Maui, checking in on me on the morning of our ceremony, and reminded us to not forget the rings and license docs before we headed out the door. They were thoughtful and we really appreciated how communicative they were. Kuya married us and Ian was our photographer and those two were a hit! They worked so beautifully together and the ceremony just flowed and was stress free the entire time. It was absolutely perfect! Right after Kuya left the beach he submitted our license paperwork and we received an email that it was already filed. I figured it would take a day or 2. We were promised our photo packet within 3-4 weeks. NOPE! No waiting there either! We received them 6 days later. Our WHOLE experience through a pandemic and all was top notch and exceeded our expectations. Aloha Maui Dream Weddings really work hard and create relaxing, stress free, and beautiful dream weddings. Ours was nothing less than perfect! I am so grateful we chose them to be part of our big day! Honestly you will not find better service, photography, attention to detail, or care from another business like them. They lead with love and are amazing at what they do. The most beautiful, spectacular memories of our life

For me and my husband, this was the most magical experience for us and to share it with Darci and Penny, was truly like a part of our family was there. I got to know Darci through only phone communication, when I finally meet her a few days before the wedding, it solidified for me what a good soul she is. We were also lucky to get to meet Penny at that time too, by the time the ceremony came, it was so sweet to have them both there. Penny of course did all the editing of our pictures and man , she and the photographer were able to capture the emotions we were feeling that beautiful evening, as the sun was setting .and we were professing our love. The pictures are amazing. This company is Darci’s heart and soul and it reflects in every action and movement she makes, in order to make your wedding day as special as you want it to be. I had to go on blind trust that someone would help make my special day just the way I wanted. And that she did. She listened to everything I wanted and gave advice and commentary exactly when needed. This is Darci’s passion and there is nothing she won’t do to allow you to feel and experience your special day. I feel very lucky I had Her to be able to put our most precious day together for us and that pretty much everything was done before We even got off the plane. Everything was perfect. Everything I Dreamed

My (now) husband and I decided a long time ago that we wanted to elope. During the Fall of 2020, we booked a trip to Maui, and I so casually said, "Let's elope on the island." He said sure!!! Then began the booking process... I went through several sites looking for an elopement package that felt authentic and reasonably priced. This landed me on the Aloha Maui Dream Weddings page. I was able to text the owner and ask ALL of my questions. There were so many "add-ons," locations, and Covid concerns. One of Darci's first questions to me was, "Do you trust me?" Well... I only knew this woman for a short time, but she beautifully answered all of my questions and relieved my stress, so yes, I told her I trusted her. This was all she needed. She kicked it into gear with modifying my perfect elopement (we had 3 friends attend). She chose the perfect beach (White Rock Beach) for my evening wedding, as well as she handpicked an amazing spiritual reverend (Rev. Kuya) for the ceremony. The evening could not have been more perfect. I felt absolutely no stress at all with Darci as my gal!

Aside from wedding details and planning, Darci would text me pictures of the weather when we were still on the mainland and flooding was taking place in Maui. She would text me the week before we left making sure we had all of our paperwork in order. She texted me the day we arrived wishing us fun adventures. She even texted me pictures of sunburn relief when she found out I ha been at the pool the day before my wedding(:

Darci made the entire experience so personal. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to have a special, stress-free event on the island!!

I cannot recommend Darci and her team highly enough. They created the most beautiful wedding we could ever ask for and made every single one of our visions come true. Being from the UK we were initially concerned that time-difference would make planning our wedding more difficult but Darci was available at all hours and no-doubt some of the most productive planning conversations we had were in the middle of the night for her and she never hesitated to make us feel completely at ease. Darci also not only made our wedding day incredible but our whole holiday in Hawaii was significantly enhanced because of the input she had in planning our trips and recommending places to visit for ourselves and all of our guests. From booking nail appointments to hooking us up with the most amazing private snorkelling trip to Molokini Crater, her professionalism and devotion to her work is unquestionable. Our actual wedding day went completely seamlessly all down to Darci, she had everything covered from every angle and her staff maintained the highest standards throughout! Don't Hesitate - 5 stars isn't enough!

Darci made our wedding ceremony so much more than we could ever have envisioned on our own. She was professional, super responsive, flexible, calm, and provided the best suggestions and recommendations for anything we asked for and even things we didn't even know enough to ask for! We had a total of 11 people at our beach ceremony and all of them agreed that it was one of the, if not THE, BEST wedding they had ever attended. Beyond the gorgeous setting, Darci was an amazing officiant, creating a ceremony that touched on everything a perfect wedding is: meaningful, personal, spiritual, relaxed, fun, grounded and real.....We honestly cannot say enough about her extraordinary services. It was stress-free and honestly just the most beautiful and joyful time for everyone involved! Great friendly wedding coordination even from overseas

Darci was fantastic in helping us with our wedding coordination in Maui which we arranged as a last minute elopement ceremony, which we booked in just under a month from Australia. She is friendly and willing help as mush as she can, especially even after the ceremony when we needed help with some extra document while we got back to Australia.
It was also good value with different packages available compared to the other Wedding companies online. She had great suggestions to help us chose the different locations for the ceremony and there website actually has a lot of great information (despite not looking that new). Our Marriage Officiant was so sweet and friendly, just like your favourite uncle so it was great experience.

They really mean it when they say dream wedding!

If I could give them a million stars on everything I would!

Aloha Maui Dream Weddings really means it when they say “dream weddings”. Planning a destination wedding can be very difficult but Darci made it unbelievably easy. Before working with Darci, I was actually with a different planner at a different company and all communication was done via email. Each decision would take 1-2 days because of the time difference between Maui and Texas. Because things were moving at a snail’s pace, I started looking for other options and found AMDW (thank God!)

I told Darci my guest count and budget and within minutes she found a great option for us. By going with the venue she found for us, we saved a lot of money and we got way more bang for our buck. After signing on with AMDW, Darci was attentive and easily accessible via text and was SUPER prompt with emails. Darci is very knowledgeable, attentive, and straightforward - everything you need in a planner. From the makeup artist, to the videographer- Darci was able to save me so much money with all of the vendors she has access too. TRUST HER, she won’t steer you wrong. She has excellent taste but is always mindful of your budget. She also has a great personality and will definitely make you feel at ease from start to finish.

The day of the wedding was absolutely a DREAM. We had our wedding at Gannon’s in Wailea and it was absolutely STUNNING. We couldn’t believe that our venue could be so amazing! All the decor and florals she helped us pick looked gorgeous. Darci and Penny were with us the day of and Darci did a wonderful job managing our guests, bridal party and my tipsy groom ;)
Everything went very smoothly! Darci thought on her feet to alter the schedule slightly so that we could get cake cutting photos while the lighting was still nice outside. Gannon’s doesn’t set a set price for your open bar and will charge you per drink. We had an alcohol budget and when our bar tab was starting to approach our budget, Darci pulled me aside to let me know so that we could make the decision to keep going or do last call.

Perfect Ceremony and Planning

My partner and I had a beautiful intimate ceremony at Makena Cove in Maui at the end of Sep 2019 and it was romantic, personal and simply perfect thanks to Darci and a great photographer Penny who captured our special day. Darci was very helpful at answering all our questions before the ceremony, gave great tips on the best time of the day for the ceremony (for the morning, definitely go with 8am - trust Darci and you will not regret it). She was patient with answering our questions from what part of the island we should stay at, to makeup/hair/flower vendor suggestions. She made the wedding day stress free. The ceremony itself was perfect for me and my partner and we will remember it forever! The photos turned out so great thanks to Penny, that we ended up buying the whole gallery as there were so many great shots, that we didn’t want to give up any. We strongly recommend going with Darci and Penny for anyone planning a wedding in Maui. Mahalo!

What we expected to be an amazing day Darci and Penny made INCREDIBLE!!

From the start they set our minds at ease by replying quickly to any emails we sent answering any questions we had, setting our minds at ease that they had everything handled and we didn't need to worry about anything because they had it all sorted!

Our wedding day was perfect, Our Beach was the perfect location, our own little paradise. We loved how it was focused on our relationship, our trials during our time together. It made the ceremony so personal and knowing it was specific to us was lovely!

We not only had an awesome wedding day we met two people who we were honoured to share our day with.

The photo's told the story of our wedding so well, we are able to share our day with our family and friends even though they weren't there.

The best of the best!

Darci and her team were amazing! I can't say enough good things about them. Planning a wedding in Hawaii from Missouri, when you're not familiar with the location, is not exactly an easy task. Darci was there every step of the way. She was able to plan a wedding that was 6 months away in a matter of hours. She had the musician, photographer, videographer, officiant, and location locked down the same night I first spoke with her. She was able to adapt our ceremony to fit us and not make it just another cookie cutter destination wedding. I told her over and over that she was my fairy godmother, and she really was. I don't know that I could have pulled off everything she managed.

Best decision we’ve ever made !!!

Darcy made are wedding magical. She took care of are every need. Called for all are reservations and set me up with Hair and makeup. We didn’t have to worry about anything at all. Are ceremony was everything and more then I could of imagined. Dacry and kuya (Minister) where so nice and friendly, felt like they where family. I highly recommend this company, there amazing and the best for your special day. We also had an incredible photographer (Penny Palmer) who took breathtaking photos. We now have the most beautiful photos and memories to share for a lifetime. Thanks to all of them!

Darci is the best!

Just wow! You think you're ready, and then Darci comes in and you realize, I didn't have it worked out at all. That's the genuine feeling that my husband and I had last week. If you're looking for a coordinator, do not hesitate with Darci. We had a 70 person wedding and Darci was nothing short of AMAZING! She'll keep you AND your guests of track. She truly was the difference maker in our wedding and my wife and I could not have been happier with our decision. In addition to being a true professional, Darci was incredibly accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of all night.

You won't regret hiring Darci!

We hired Darci to coordinate our wedding in Maui and never looked back. She responded to my online inquiry within a few hours which I always appreciate especially with the 6 hour time difference where we are. She immediately answered all my questions about how the process works and we booked her right away. She immediately coordinated our photographer, hair and makeup and officiant. All the details were taken care which left us with nothing to worry about! She always checked in and if I had a random question, she always had the answer. Plus her prices were much lower than most other companies which is a big plus and her vendors she works with were all excellent! Hire Darci and you won't regret it!

Darci is the most attentive, organised and dedicated wedding planner who’s attention to detail is outstanding. Darci made our special day so perfect with all the personal touches.
Nothing was ever too much trouble from the initial email to even after the wedding where she helped with where to eat, taxis and local trips which weren’t even part of our wedding day. Penny captured our day perfectly with the most awesome pictures, she made us feel at ease the whole way through and we had so much fun with her! Darci and Penny are the dream team!!!! Absolutely Perfect!!!! I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding, wedding planner, minister, photographer, ukulele, hair, makeup!!! Everything was waiting and prepared upon our arrival to Maui. It was a beautiful ceremony which included a unity vessel as a symbol of blending our children from previous marriages. I had been asked by my (my now husband) to Elope with him in Maui at the beginning of this year. I had no idea what to expect or knew how elopements work but I knew it fit us the best because we consider our relationship very intimate. I don't even know where to begin on how amazing Darci & Penny are! From the instant I was interested in a Maui wedding until I returned home from our Maui wedding/honeymoon, Darci took care of every detail (to include my cake and flowers) and Penny captured every precious moment of our new lives together in the perfect lighting. I seriously wish I could give this company a rating of 10 out of 5! I was pretty anxious about trusting someone to put together the destination wedding of my dreams but with Aloha Maui Dream Weddings, it was so easy and I was surprised at how much it exceeded my expectations. I was able to make all of the decisions about every aspect of the wedding without having to do the work. I was able to focus on my family on the day of the wedding, rather than worry about all the stresses that come with putting together a ceremony. Darci went above and beyond throughout the entire process. She was extremely personal, thoughtful, and accommodating to our needs as well as delivering a very nice ceremony. She also worked very well with the photographer, Penny, who was also very accommodating to our requests and delivered exceptional photos! (At least from what we can see from our sneak peeks!!!) Penny also guided us on poses and made us feel extremely comfortable during the photo shoot following the ceremony! Wonderful team to work with!! Aloha Maui Dream weddings gave my husband and I the most beautiful and meaningful ceremony. She chose the absolute best location for our sunset wedding. It was the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen and the beach was gorgeous. We almost had the beach to ourselves too. Darci and Penny were incredible!! My husband did all the planning so I knew very little until we showed up that day. This was a vow renewal and we had family and friends joining us from a few states. Darci immediately made me feel so comfortable and the beach location was simply beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a more fun, touching and intimate ceremony. I highly recommend these ladies and the small touches were just the icing on the cake. From an extra lei they brought (and we actually needed it), to a goody gift bag and a handwritten thank you once back home. Wish I could relive that whole evening again!!!

Darci was exceptional and planning was a breeze and she made everything so easy for me! The bouquet turned out beautiful and our beach was perfect. The words she said on our special day made it even more special. I couldn’t have done this without her! Penny was also a fabulous photographer. We were suppose to have a dear friend of ours fly out to take our wedding photos and last minute we found out she wasn’t able to go, Darci said she had us covered and she most definitely did!
Everything was perfect and these lovely women made it our dream wedding and we will forever be thankful!

Darci could not have been better at coordinating our Maui beach wedding. She was professional and set everything up so that I didn't have to worry about anything. Darci was a dream to work with! We reached out to several planners on Maui and Darci impressed us with her very quick responses despite bring 5 hours behind our hometown. She helped us select a package and some add ons that we wanted and choose a location (Maken Cove was PERFECT- highly reccomend this spot.) We chose a date, then suddenly had to change our date due to work conflicts. She was so accommodating through this process. Basically I just told her what I wanted and she took care of the rest! It was very relaxing not to have the stress of wedding planning on top of traveling from very far away. When we arrived on Maui she texted me seeing how our trip was so far, and continued to send little texts of encouragement up until our big day. Penny our photographer was also great. Out photos turned out lovely and she sent them digitally very quickly. I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding and we can't thank Aloha Maui Dream Weddings enough.

I just wanted to say Darci and Penny were great. We decided to elope very last minute and Darci did not wait one second getting us scheduled in such a short time frame. I mean when we decided last minute.. We decided 2 days prior. In reality it could be difficult trying to get an appointment for your marriage license/ but Darci pulled the the strings and got us a marriage license appointment the day we arrived to Maui. We got married on Sunday and by Friday she needed my bouquet requests and made it exceptionally possible for the flower shop to do this speciality bouquet last minute. Keep in mind the flower shops closes on Sunday. But again Darci will do everything you want and beyond. She will answer all your texts no matter the time. She is professional and kind!!!! I contacted Darci about a year and half before my Maui wedding. I wasn't sure who I was going to use, or even for sure which island I was going to get married on. She had great reviews, so I reached out to her. She got back to me very quickly and immediately put me at ease. I chose Maui because I wanted Darci. Every step of the way she walked me through everything, made me feel comfortable, and she even helped me decide on which beach would be best for my vision and the amount of guests I had. When I got to Maui she was communicative and responsive and everything ran perfectly smooth on the big day. I also got to see her again for a fun Trash the Dress photo shoot with her and Penny. My trash the dress shoot was 2 days after my wedding, and Darci even brought me another bouquet because she wasn't sure if mine held up or if I would remember it. She just went totally above and beyond on many levels. Thank you, Darci! Our day was perfect!

We planned a wedding in a week and a half, thanks to Darci and Penny. Winging a wedding is not recommended, even at such an amazing venue as Maui UNLESS you are working with Aloha Maui Dream Weddings because they handled everything, and I mean everything.

We placed a call in to the contact number and within 30 minutes received a call-back. Darci began lining things up immediately thereafter and I could noticeably feel my blood pressure just start falling back to normal. It was like a deep, soothing sigh to be working with them and know that it would all be taken care of. It was, and not just at a base level. It was all beyond expectations and we will remember our wedding day for the rest of our lives. We are already talking about going back next year (and the year after and the year after, etc) to renew our vows and experience the amazing beauty, bliss and joy that is Maui. Credit to Darci and Penny, hands down. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

As a full time student, I was pretty sure I wasn't going to get my dream wedding on my budget. To my surprise, with AMDW, I got just that- I get choked up just thinking about it! I originally found them with a quick Google search. Not only were their pictures beautiful but their prices were SO affordable. (Not to mention, their packages offered more than others and were practically half the price!) They can accommodate everything from just the two of you to a large wedding with doves, conch blows, toasts and more!
Darci reached out to me immediately and we started hashing out a general idea of what I was looking for. She was extremely accommodating and very considerate of my budget. After speaking with her over the phone, her calm and friendly demander sealed the deal for my soon to be husband and I, it felt like I was talking to a friend <3.
Darci and Penny are the total package. They have a travel agent available to you and your guests, they know all the ins and outs of Maui- making planning effortless. I called Darci all wound up one night, overwhelmed with all the hotel choices and within 2 minutes she filled me in on great choices in my price range and close to my venue as well as special things about each that you wouldn't find online- squashing any sense of worry. Every mild (or major) panic I had, she had a quick and easy solution and was readily available.
When it came down to my wedding day, all I had to do was show up. She and Penny had everything under control and running smoothly. Our wedding photos look like post cards. They're exquisite (definitely purchase a bunch with your package!)
We will never forget our amazing experience with AMDW. We recommend them without reservation and I don't think you'll find a more attentive, friendly, well organized and affordable wedding planning team anywhere. They truly love what they do and they'll make your day stress free, special and unforgettable!

My wife and I picked Maui for our wedding destination. We started off very confused about how to handle a destination wedding and how to encompass everything we envisioned our wedding being with us located thousands of miles away. Somehow we were lucky enough to stumble upon Darci at Aloha Maui Dream Weddings. She listened to what we dreamed of and found the venue perfect for us. Our AAA travel agent recommended Darci from AMDW. She made sure that my wife and our guests had the best wedding experience in our lives. We did. Everything was so beautiful and magical. Brother Kuya was highly recommended by Darci and we are so happy to use Darci's recommendation to have him in our wedding. My mom's wedding was amazing. Thank gawd she got a wedding planner because she would've flipped our doing this all on her own. Darci gave us (groomsmen) a time line to follow which helped out a ton. The wedding went seamlessly in my opinion and it was absolutely rememberable.

I found AMDW through a simple Google search after checking out a few different planners that didn't feel right for my fiance and I. I contacted Darci via email and she was very prompt in returning my email and setting up a time for us to talk about what we wanted. She made choosing what we wanted simple and stress free. Throughout the process Darci was always available to answer questions and give recommendations for our wedding and honeymoon in maui. It was nice having someone familiar with the area to talk to about all things from restaurants, shopping, ziplining and possible sunset photo shoots. She was always friendly and never made it seem like a chore to answer my many questions.
On our actually wedding day Darci made me feel so comfortable even though I was feeling anxious. The whole ceremony and time before and after, all ran very smoothly and was an even better experience than I had imagined. Darci made me feel as though I could relax during one of the most stressful times in my life. A wedding is suppose to be a celebration and with her help and support we had the best day.
