Our story starts on March 7th, 2008. Well, it was supposed to start on that day, anyway. But even before that day, only one week prior, I had called a good friend of mine to see if he wanted to go see a comedian together since well I had no one to go with at the time and I needed a second person! But he had plans with his girlfriend at the time to go to a motorcross race, so being the guy he is he didn't want me to go alone, so he asked me to come along with them, so I did...third wheel and all. While at the race his gf asked me if I like tall guys with tattoos, I was amused at the thought but said I didn't have anything against them. So of course, as always, she had a friend she wanted me to meet. His name was Tallman, well that's what everyone called him anyway, except nobody said it right I think I was told everything from Tomlin to Tilman. Anyway back to the story. The plan was for "Tallman" and I to meet at Ky and Dre (the couple who I went to the race with) house and watch a movie or I don't know whatever you do in an awkward set up like that. So I was there like I was supposed to be, but guess who wasn't. Yep I was stood up, well I guess not intentionally. Come to find out a friend of his had been in a car accident and he was at the hospital with him. That was March 7th. So we just had to try again for the next night. And of course that didn't go as planned either. We were again supposed to meet and Ky and Dre's but when I tried to call them to see what time I had no answer and when Ky finally called back he said that Josh couldn't get a hold them either so he had already made other plans, ugh, (this was at 5 pm or so) and after all the on again off again crap I decided to call it an early night. At around 9 pm my phone rang and it was Ky saying I had to come over because "Tallman" was on his way, there was no way I was doing it again...no way. But after 15 minutes of talking I got dressed and headed the 5 minutes to their house. The first time I saw him I was standing in a hall way and there he was 6'6" dark hair, blue eyes...so handsome! Now the first thing that caught my eye was his height because let me tell you for a girl of 6'2" its not easy finding a good man taller than I am. Well we all sat down to watch a movie. Tallman and I across the room from each other not really talking...just laughing at each others sarcasm towards Ky and Dre. But as we were leaving, both at the same time, he asked me for my number. We stood outside and talked on that front porch for 2 hours probably (oh did I mention it was snowing and I had flipflops on!) But we parted with a hug and the intention to meet up again soon. I heard nothing from him Sunday which was fine and still nothing Monday. So after talking to my mother she convinced me to atleast text him and tell him I enjoyed meeting him. So I did. And to my surprise he called back and asked me to dinner that night. And the rest as they say, is history. He proposed on 01/26/2010 in our home as I was coming out of the shower. Hair in a mess towel on and all. He said you are the missing link in my life and I want you to be mine forever. So I cried and said a lot of "oh my gah's" and eventually remembered to say "yes"!!!
