We met at our church's young adults group called Momentum. He is the son of the worship pastor and I was invited by a number of friends who said I should check out Momentum. A group of us were playing foursquare after service (when adults play it's way more intense than the playground version). A few people were asking each other who the new girl was, so he just introduced himself so he could find out. We started staying later to hang out after service, and began seeing each other in groups outside of church. I took and interest in rock climbing because that was one of his hobbies, I made a list of classic movies he needed to see because I'm a big movie buff. He was going to be gone for over a week for a missions trip and we still weren't "official". I surprised him by making him a handmade card for each day if the trip (to be delivered by a friend who was also on the trip). He surprised me with a stack of handwritten letter for each day that he would be gone. When he returned, he gave me a gift from his trip and a final letter asking me if I wanted to be his girlfriend. Throughout our relationship he has planned more wonderful and sentimental celebrations. He has always been sweet and strong and the perfect guy for me.
