Paul and I meet in the military in the summer of 2009 while I was going thru a nasty divorce. I was pretty much off the thought of ever dating again. We meet and he began to ask my friends about me. I told him that I wasn't interested in dating anyone right now and we became friends. With the help of one of our friends Jill he finally convinced me to go out on a date with him. April of 2010 we became an official item and on Mother's day he told me he loved me. I about had a heart attack, but I knew I couldn't live without him and conceeded that I was in love with him too. January of 2011 he moved in with my kids and I. It was a difficult road, but so totally worth it. April 2012 we decided that we were going to get married and I was going to start planning, but we were NOT officially engaged until he proposed. January 4, 2013 he took me to one of my favorite restaurants, took me for a horse and carriage ride, then infront of one of the fountains got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I told him YES. I can't wait til the day that I can call him husband.
