We were matched on E Harmony on April 23rd 2008.  After months of emailing  and submitting questions to each other on the E Harmony website, we finally reached the stage of "open communication " on July 9th 2008. Finis gave me his phone number and told me to call him , when I was ready...which meant   'ASAP'..!.  so I did.   After a few attempts,  we kept missing each other, .. not realizing that he worked out of town and all I had was his home number. Finally I tried on a Friday night  and he picked up.. i was so nervous, the first thing I said to Finis,was that he sounds just like my "uncle freddy"..  he laughed..     Our conversation that night lasted into the early morning.. we talked for at least 4 hours and that went on for 6 weeks until we finally said it is time to meet!.. I flew into to Richmond Virginia on thurs  Aug 22, 2008..  and Finis waited for me at the airport. as I came out the security gate..  I knew it was him as soon as I saw his face.. We hugged , and he took my luggage..  . I knew he was the one for me on that very day. . and our relationship has grown everyday since then. We have kept our long distance relationship alive and well for 2 years, commuting back and forth from Tampa Fl, to RIchmond Va. Having to deal with delayed flights, heavy luggage,  racing to make a connection,praying our flights were safe, waiting on the tarmac for hours, with just a kiss on the lips until the next time we saw each other again.. ...  Finis proposed to me on Aug 26th 2010........1 CORNITHIANS 13:4....Love never fails!
