How we Met "you smell nice!" - On the evening of Oct 27th, 2006 Brian attended a Halloween party held at Kirsten’s Drexel college house. He came with mutual friends of the two and during a brief embrace Kirsten told him how nice he smelled. Thou their introduction was brief they were quickly reunited the following evening in the Hamilton area at yet another Halloween party. Following these events Brian quickly set out to MySpace contact Kirsten. He promptly made her aware of his phone number, and she gave her number in return. He called a few days later to attend another event at 67 North 34th Street, and their love of Pat’s cheese steaks was shortly discovered! The Proposal "Here goes nothing!"- It was the week before Thanksgiving and Brian no longer wanted to hold onto the ring that was burning a hole in his pocket. It was proposal time and the game plan was to take Kirsten to Long Wood Gardens since the two enjoyed this venue. Knowing how much Kirsten LOVES to take photos of cherished memories Brian set out to make an accomplice out of Kaylin and her wonderful new camera. The pair decided they'd have Kay tell Kirsten that she needed to go take photos of all the girls to make a Christmas gift for their mom, and Brian was helping his grandfather do some handy work around the house. Kaylin woke Kirst bright and early Tuesday morning November 23, 2010 to set out ant take "snap photos", and Kirsten woke up in full uncooperative mode, what else is new? In her defense she closed the bar the night before and was coming down with a major cold. Kirsten complained she was tired, sick, and to top it all off it was raining outside, too nasty to take photos out in the frigid air. She then stated she'd go to Peddler's Village if they absolutely must do this task today, since at least there was the shelter of stores there if the on set of a downpour happened to occur. Kaylin retreated to her room to phone Brian and explain the fiasco. Brian was on edge, and told Kaylin to do whatever needed to be done to get her sister out of the house, and anyplace! So Kirsten and Kaylin headed to Bucks County PA for the day, while Brian had to make a U-turn and head back in that direction. Once at Peddler's Village, Kaylin and Brian kept thorough communication via text as he periodically re-positioned his location. The two ladies wondered around a few shops aimlessly, and then while they crossed over the little bridge in the middle of the village surrounded by trees Brian walked around one and into the clearing. Kirsten stood there applying her chap stick with a look of "What's going on here" on her face. That's the moment Brian dropped to his knee and said "I asked your Dad and he said yes. So now you just have to say yes. Will You Marry Me?"

Mine is my birthstone, which is amethyst. I'm not knocking agaisnt diamond e-rings, but I am so glad it's not a diamond. I get a lot of compliments about it for that very reason. I love it!
