I was not the little girl who dreamed about growing up and having a beautiful wedding with Prince Charming. Always practical and logical, I begged my now husband to elope or get married at our local courthouse, save money and get our house remodeled instead. Thank God he insisted on having a big wedding because I woke up the day of our wedding and got to live the dream I never knew I wanted.
