Joe and I first met at our first job at ages 16 and 17, as waiters, at Cactus Willies in Bel Air. We both attended seperate high schools, but we easily formed a bond of friendship at work. After a year of flirting and teenage antics, we finally spent New Years Eve 2004 with some of our friends and Joe's sister, Gina, at the Baltimore Inner Harbor for fireworks. After that fun and sweet night, We decided we wanted to start dating and our days were quickly filled with trips to the movies, dinners, and hanging around playing playstation 2 and Xbox. I invited Joe to be my Senior Prom date at John Carroll and I couldn't of asked for a better date! Then, it was a whirlwind of attending the University of Maryland, Baltimore County together, graduating, and landing our first jobs. In between, the summers were filled with ocean city, car shows, swimming at the pool, and of course, more video games. :) As we grew older, our friendship and love grew also, Joe taught me to be a little more patient and laid back, but sometimes my "Type A" personality emerges and he always reminds me that life is short and to not stress out. In November 2010, we decided to move into our first grown up apartment and then last year, 2011, we began the construction of our first home. After EIGHT years, January 7, 2012, we spent the first full night together in our newly built home and Joe proposed in his sweet goofy manner, which made it even more special. I couldn't wait to say YES!
