Jocelyn

Vince and I met our Junior year of high school. We were both new to the school and were introduced at the first High School Rodeo Club meeting of the year. He asked me out a few times but I declined, thinking to myself, "Jeeze this boy is really weird..." We ended up best friends and at the end of the school year my family moved back to Maine. It was a heartbreaking moment for me. We stayed in touch over the years and I traveled to New Mexico a few times to visit him and his family. We talked about getting things together but the timing was never right and the distance was too much. In May 2012 I traveled to Phoenix, AZ to meet Vince and drive down to NM to see his sister (my MOH) graduate from the same high school we met at. It was a short 5-day visit but it sealed our fate. When I got back to Maine I gave my notice at work and started planning for my move to Phoenix. Here we are 9 years after meeting, finally getting things right and planning our wedding. I never would have guessed we'd be here today but Vince swears he always knew that saying goodbye to me 9 years ago, I would eventually make my way back to him.
