We first met where we work (Bae Systems) in April 2005. At the time it was named Stewart and Stevenson. We were friends at work and that was about it, besides huge crushes! June 25, 2006 which was a sunday, we were both invited to go out to eat at Casadores with a few friends after work. When we got to the resturaunt, we ended up sitting next to eachother. The longer we sat there the more we flirted. After dinner we all went to a friends house for a party. That night was our first kiss! Throughout the week we flirted more and talked alot more. That Friday was our first "date". We went out and had a blast! From that night on, we have been inseperable.  We lived in an apartment in Katy until October. That is when we moved to Hallettsville in Scott’s grandparents old house. We lived there for a year. October 2007 we bought our first home which is where we live now! It’s a 2 bedroom 1 bath on 5.192 acres with a barn! We absolutely love it! So now that brings us to the engagement!  Scott proposed on February 9, 2008. He wanted to do it on Valentines’ Day, but wasnt sure what time we would get off work. Since we were both off that day it was perfect. Now for how he did it....... It was about 7am, yes thats right extremely early haha! We were still laying in bed and I was planning on sleeping in a little since we didnt get home from work the night before until midnight. Well as every weekend  we are off, Scott woke up early and thought I needed to be awak also. He was pestering and poking at me and singing to me that it was time to wake up haha! Well I was all grouchy and telling him to stop. Finally I got mad and got up and went pee. (Like you care haha) Anyway, when i got back in bed, he was on my side so I just layed on his side and hoped I go back to sleep for a little bit longer. HA! No that didnt happen. He kept pestering me until i said "Would you please stop!" So he said ok. I was just about back to sleep and he says all soft and sweet "Baby." I was like "yeaaa...." He said "Will you marry me?" My eyes popped open and i turned to him and said "Of course I will baby." His response was "Ok." Then he closed his eyes to go back to sleep. So we layed there for a little bit cuddling. Well then he got up and went to the living room and started watching tv. Ok by now i thought he was just joking. I didnt think he was "seriously" asking me. He has asked many times before, but was never serious. Well we continued the day like every other.... checking hog traps and going to the deer lease and stuff. So again, it wasnt made a big deal and nothing more was said, so of course I didnt take his proposal seriously. Once we got home, he asked me if I had told anyone yet. I was like "told anyone what?" He sighed and said "Uh, what I asked you this morning." I was like "Oh, were you serious" HAHAHAHAHA Yes I really asked him that! He goes "Oh my, Yes I was really asking. Will you marry me?" I was sooo excited, but still unsure hahaha! I started telling a few people, but wanted to be 100% sure he was serious hahaha! Well that night we went to his uncle’s house for his birthday party. Well most of the family was there. When he told everyone, then I knew for sure! haha! The next day we went and picked out my beautiful ring! The End!  Oh yea right!!! hahahaha It’s wedding planning time!!!!!!!!!!!
