Our story isn't crazy or off the wall by any means. It all happened at the most perfect time though. We met online. He was going to college, and I had just moved back home with my parents after I had made some life changing mistakes. I had NO intentions of meeting anyone and "falling in love". I had made that mistake once, and wasn't ready to do it again. We started out talking on MSN messenger.  Our first conversation consisted of me telling him about my past, and who I was on every level I could possibly think of. I thought maybe if I told him all the bad things he'd never have the chance to be interested. Then he gave me his phone number. We text on and off for awhile. Then one day we decided to meet. We each drove to the half way point. Only like 35 miles. We met at walmart, the scariest thing I'd ever done. When I got there, I walked around for probably 45 minutes just looking around to see if I could spot him out. I did...but kept on walking. I was SOOO nervous. He had been texting me the whole 45 minutes I was there. Then I finally got the guts and went to him. He was so cute sitting there on the bench. It was at that moment that I knew I had to let my guard down. I didn't want to get hurt again, but he was worth a try. We walked around walmart together for about 3 1/2 hours, just walking and talking. The employees probably thought we were crazies or that we were plotting to rob the place. haha! About a month after we met, I had some family drama, so to speak, go on and had to move out of my parents. His grandparents own some apartments in the town he lives in and so I moved out that way. We started dating December 7th, 2008 and he's been by my side ever since. We moved in together officially in June 2009, even though he had been staying practically every night and sometimes spending more time at my apartment then me since I had moved in. :) And here we are today, planning our wedding. We've had our ups and downs, but doesn't every relationship? He helped me through a really rough time in my life, and for that I'm eternally greatful. Meeting Erick was the best thing I could have ever done. He brought me to a place of peace in my life. And he literally completes me. We bring out the best in each other. And I'll proudly carry his name! :)
