Harper

Spencer and I met at 6 years old, when we were in the same first grade class.  Growing up, I never liked him because he was a trouble-maker, and I was shy and never missbehaved.  It wasn't until our senior year in high school that we got to know each other.  We got together a few months after graduating, and fell inlove fast.  We moved in together about a year in to our relationship, and were surprised at how easy the transition was. He proposed to me alone in our apartment, the day before Christmas Eve, after a family christmas party.  We were getting ready to leave the house again, when I turned around to find him on one knee.  He was holding a black box with an aquamarine engagement ring, and in one breath he said "Harper, will you marry me?" I was too excited to respond, and he had to remind me to answer him.    We were married 6 months later in Georgetown, TX, at an outdoor venue owned by family friends.
