Wedding details
My fiancé and I had actually met once before we started dating. We met through our mutual friends Emily and Shaun whom are married. Funny enough the first time we met there was nothing that hinted of what was to come. We were at our friends Emily and Shaun's wedding. He was the best man and I was a bridesmaid. At the reception we were seated next to each other. We chatted throughout the night, he asked me to dance. The reception ended a lot earlier than we had expected and he asked me if I would be interested in going to a karaoke bar. I'm usually very shy and "no" was on the tip of my tongue but "sure" came out instead. So as we were driving over to the karaoke bar I realized how easy he was to talk to. I expected a lot of awkward silences but we chatted the whole time as if we were old friends. The karaoke bar was fun. He did a couple of songs. The car ride home was the same. We chatted naturally as if we were long time friends. I told him me and my friend usually went over to a local bar for drinks every week if he's like to join us. The next week we all got together for drinks and he asked me if I would like to go with him to his friends birthday party thing at a different karaoke bar in a few weeks. We exchanged numbers and a few days later he texted me and asked me out on a date. The rest as they say is history. We've been dating ever since. One of the things we've always said about our relationship as that from the beginning that we started dating we felt as if we'd known each other for ever. I know it sounds corny but I now understand why people make that statement. We're not just significant others we're also best friends.

2512 days agoOkay long story short, my family & friends do not need RSVP cards because 1) Not going through the hassle knowing they won't send them in 2) I don't have strict rules (example: Adults only reception) But sending the invitation alone just seems so.....

2512 days agoFH and I went to go get my wedding band. It's been a an adventure since my engagement ring band is shaped funny. So I picked out a straight band and liked it. FH said I could pick what I wanted but that he didn't care for the gaps. We went to several...
