Christina

We actually met by chance through a shared care ride home from Carnegie Mellon. Christina was driving her and 3 of her girlfriends back to New Jersey for mid-semester break.  Being the person that she is, Christina specifically reminded her friends that the must meet at 6AM sharp the next morning so that they can be back in New Jersey by 11AM, noon the latest.  The night before their 6AM journey, one of Christina's riders and her sorority sister, Eileen decided to bombard her with the news that she is bringing along a friend.  Not even giving Christina the chance to say "no" Eileen stated that she had already told her friend that Christina would give him a ride...since Christina didn't want to see anyone stranded at school during break (good thing she was feeling generous), she reluctantly agreed to take Eileen's friend. That friend was Jon. Since Jon wasn't made aware of the 6AM roll-call, Christina had to drive out of her way to pick him up from his apartment off campus, which threw a wrench into Christina's perfectly timed out schedule.  She was not happy. Luckily, Jon volunteered to drive and that made things a little better.  During their trip, the other girls were fast asleep in the car.  With no on to talk to, Christina decided Jon was the next best (and only) option.  They somehow chatted non-stop the entire trip home (including a 2 hr traffic jam in Connecticut, having Sophia's papillon Lena "drive" the car while sitting on his lap, and a speeding ticket). And there, the spark started when neither Christina (who had just gotten out of a serious relationship) nor Jon (who is graduating in 6 months) were looking for a relationship.
