My fiance and I met online, it wasn't a dating website more like facebook or myspace where you can create a page that represents you blah blah... you get the idea lol.  So usually on this website i would just check messages from people because everyday i would get a message from some creep that wanted to hook up of course.  I had just gotten out of a three year relationship that was on and off constantly and wanted to move on and just focus on me.  I told myself i'm just not gonna date it's too much and after being hurt and lied to i just had enough.  So i didn't try to talk to guys, and just ignored and deleted messages......so one day i'm checking my messages and all of a sudden i see this message title and it says your beautiful.  I'm like yea ok lets read this short message and see what he wants.  Little did i know that i would open the message and there is a whole Letter there explaining to me about this person and their interests and hobbies and how he thinks i am beautiful.  So of course i was reserved a bit after getting out of a horrible relationship....so i was very guarded.  We had been messaging each other back and fourth for a few days and decided that we should add each other on the site and become friends.  We talked to each other everrrryyydayyy and it was a great process of getting to know him.  It was great because we had a lot in common and it's one of those things where you would say "where have you been all of my life!" we literally had the same views, ideas about relationships and what we wanted for our futures and it felt just amazing to have so many things in common and feel a connection with someone.  So we were talking back and fourth for about 3 months and would try and set up a date to meet up and something always came up!!! So finally we made a date and of course living in lovely chicago there was a slight snow storm but i decided to chance it even though i hattteee driving in the snow, i wanted to meet this person that was capturing my heart.  So we finally met and i was waiting for him to come outside and his pictures did him no justice he was more handsome in person!!! :) We went to see a movie and he took me to chipotle for dinner it was the best night ever....and after some *smooches* he made it official and asked me to be his gf and since December 26th 2009, we have been happily together!!! We got engaged on August 4th 2012 on my birthday weekend, when he took me to the Shedd Acquarium he didn't get to do it the way that he originally planned it but it was still romantic and i said yes to that most important question! :)
