Is it not proper etiquette to provide straws at your wedding for guest? I have an aunt who seems to think it's tacky and my thought is that bars provide straws all the time. What's proper?

What would you add it take away? We plan to add candles on the inside, the no flame ones. & I know it needs a flower or bow of some kind on top. Opinions?
