Lee and I met when I was a freshman at Orting High School. We only had one class together, Band, and he was a senior. Lee had always caught my eye, but he was dating another girl at that time. Eventually halfway through the year, Lee started driving by me on my walk home, and he would pick me up and drop me off at home, to be nice I thought. Towards the end of the year, he had broken up with his then girlfriend and was always giving me rides home in his little yellow Toyota pickup :) on his last day at school, he was giving me a ride home and he asked me for a pen to give me his phone number. He ended up writing his phone number on my stomach (teehee!) and thats when the affair started! We hung out late at night all that summer, and it took him about 2 years to finally ask me to be his girlfriend! I finally graduated high school and he surprised me with a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Right after we got back, we both got fantastic jobs that helped us move into an apartment together in Kent, WA later that year in September. We lived in the apartment together for 2 years, and then bought a house in Bonney Lake, WA in April of 2009. He finally proposed to me 4 years after we had been officially dating, but I was still surprised and didn't expect it at all! We had gone to the NorthWest Trek Wildlife Park on Memorial Monday in 2010, and got hungry so we decided to leave early and stop by the grocery store on our way home. He won a stuffed moose out of one of those claw machines. We then went home, where he proceeded to start dinner and I went downstairs to watch tv and wait for dinner. He came downstairs with this cheeky grin on his face, and his hands hidden behind his back, he then asked me to pick a hand and i did, and i got the stuffed moose from the claw machine he had won earlier in the day. I was confused to say the least! It was then that he told me that i had picked the wrong hand, and he pulled out his other hand and opened it and there sat my ring!! he sat next to me and asked if i would marry him, and i was speechless! i couldn't say anything for a whole 3 minutes! lol but it was grand, and i will never forget it!
