HOW WE MET...... Michael and I met on the persistent insistence of my niece and Matron of Honor, Sharice Potts (Hey girl!) She insisted (for over a year) that I come to her church to worship with her and to meet Michael, who she thought was very nice. I said sure I'd come but never gave her a date as to when I was going to come for a visit. Fast forward, a year later she asked me again to come worship at her church and meet Michael so I did. On the Sunday that I chose to attend, he was not there. It took me another month to visit the church before we finally met. OUR FIRST DATE....... Michael and I talked on the phone quite a bit and learned a lot about each other. We both agreed it was time that we went out. Our first date was an all day event on Michael's birthday. We went to breakfast that morning, bowling in the afternoon a family comedy show at my church that evening and out to eat after the show. We had so much fun together that day that it pretty much sealed the deal for us both!! OUR "ENDLESS FOREVER" THE PROPOSAL.... [Her side] I stopped by Michael's house on Christmas morning so we could exchange gifts before we left to visit my family in Virginia. After he gave me my first gift he disappeared into the kitchen, then he reappeared only to disappear again. I thought nothing of it. After I had opened my first gift (some perfume I wanted) I was closing the box and turned around to say thank you to Michael and in his hands was "the box". All I heard was will you marry me but Michael said that he said more (and I'm sure he did) so I will let him take it from here........ [His side] So early Christmas morning, Crystal came over to my house so that we could exchange gifts before we we left to go visit her family in Virginia. I gave her some perfume she wanted called Endless Euphoria. I knew what I wanted to say but I was trying to formulate my words the way that they were in my head so I kept disappearing into the kitchen to gather my thoughts. I finally got the words together, got down on one knee and said here is another gift to go along with that "endless" euphoria. Will you spend "forever" with me? Will you marry me?
