I'm Amanda and my fiancé's name is Brent. We met over two years ago and did the LDR thing for a year. I lived in CA and he in IL. A year after we started dating, he flew out to CA to drive cross-country with my kids and I. He proposed on an unusually snowy Easter Sunday morning as we were rushing out to have brunch at his parents' home. We found the perfect wedding venue and booked it right away. Now with less than 6 months to go, that's pretty much how far we've gone on the wedding planning. I'm a DIY kinda bride, so I want to do everything myself, even possibly making my own invitations. It's exciting but also nerve-wracking now that the days are counting down, and after the New Year, it will be coming at us quick. But here goes!
