We met in High school in 2002, but we grew up in the same town, which is very small so we took the same bus to school every morning.  He was dating sombody else, then broke up with her, and shortly after we started to hang out.  Although he had just gotten out of a long term relationship (for high school, it was only one year), I liked him so much that I gave him an ultimatum, be with me, or not be friends at all.  Although this tactic is not reccamended, something worked right because eight and a half years later we are still going strong!  We have had a lot of ups and downs over the years but all of it has lead us to the really amazing place of being engaged!
