Wedding Venues in Oconomowoc

My husband and I hosted our wedding reception and ceremony at the Oconomowoc Community Center in mid-September 2025. We had an amazing day and all of our guests loved the venue. We worked with Emily Trochlell to coordinate our wedding day. She was extremely responsive and so helpful in making everything run smoothly. She was always able to answer any questions we had and overall very pleasant to work with. We had rented out the lawn for our ceremony as well as two of the second floor rooms for our reception (rooms A & B). We had plenty of space to host about 130 people, and could have easily fit 20 more. We hosted on a Saturday and the pricing was very fair, especially given how expensive wedding venues can be. The employees on the day of the wedding were very helpful. However, it was a little difficult at times to find them when we needed something for setup. I wish we would have had a little more responsiveness in that aspect, but once the employees were available they were quick to assist. Overall, our experience was wonderful. I would recommend hosting any event at the community center and I look forward to hosting there again in the future!

The barn and the surrounding grounds are beautiful! Carolyn and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding very special and a day to remember.

The Carriage House is obviously stunning - we couldn't have asked for a more perfect indoor/outdoor space for our wedding day! We have had so many people rave to us about the setting and the food and just everything about the space! However, what I really want to rave about is our event manager, Andrea - she was truly a dream to work with!!! In every meeting leading up to the big day, at our rehearsal, and the day of, she was so kind, so on top of everything, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. Our day absolutely would not have been as perfect without all of her help, input, and support. She is brilliant at what she does and we couldn't be more grateful that she was part of our day! Thank you for everything, Andrea!! Pro tips: go with the outdoor dance floor and get the late night chicken tenders :)

Cupola had everything that I had been looking for in a venue (I toured many, many venues around the Milwaukee area and none came close!) - beautiful out-door ceremony, an option for an indoor ceremony if weather didn't cooperate, wonderful outdoor hang out spaces, fire pits, a beautiful barn area for dancing and dinner, and so much more! Also Stacey was wonderful to work with - very professional, quick to respond, and a wealth of knowledge! I would highly recommend Cupola Barn for your wedding!

The wedding venue of our dreams, wow! We got married at The Valerie in April of 2025 and it was by far the absolute best day ever, and we are SO happy that we chose to have it at this venue. From our first initial tour and meeting with Matty and his team, it felt meant to be. Communication is important to us and their response time was second to none, and it helped make the planning process a breeze. Their team thought of everything from the little details to the big ones when designing and building the space. From the jaw-dropping bridal suite to the grooms suite, no venue in the state can compare to the morning/getting ready experience. The venue is so elegant, yet you can make it your own for your day. 10/10! We might be bias, but we could not have dreamt of a better wedding and so much of it was thanks to The Valerie and the experience they provided for us!! I cannot recommend a better venue and team for those looking for a place to get married at! Our day of coordinator Jennifer with The Valerie was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so responsive and didn't miss a beat. My family and us appreciated how communicative and friendly she was. She was so helpful in ensuring our party had everything we needed, and that the day ran smooth! From rehearsal to even days after the wedding, Jennifer is stellar at what she does!

what a gorgeous Victorian mansion. The perfect venue

This Venue was more than we ever imagined. Our guests raved about the amazing lake views and wonderful service. Its a modern high class feel for an affordable price compared to most Venues closer to Milwaukee. Parking lot size was small, but they accommodate with valet which gives it a such upscale feel. 10/10 recommend

We just got married at Mapleton Barn and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue! The barn is gorgeous, the surrounding grounds are picturesque, but most importantly, Sasha and Jason are amazing to work with! Then were incredibly responsive and flexible and willing to work with us to make our dream wedding come to life. From food trucks to a traditional Indian baraat with the groom riding in on a horse (thanks also to Hoofbeats Express!), they were open to all of our ideas and excited about making them happen! You could tell they genuinely cared about the barn and all of the events they host their which made it even more special. You really can’t ask for more from a venue. We’re still getting compliments on the barn and Sasha and Jason. Thank you again for going above and beyond in making our wedding dreams a reality!

Loved working with Paul & Laura. They are truly the kindest people; the type of people that are a joy to be around on your wedding day. Their farm and barn are very unique - our guests are still talking about it. A few tips: - you will have to provide transportation for your guests, as parking at the farm is limited - rent fans!! - take photos outside during sun set
