Melody is simply wonderful, and hiring her was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Melody delivered the most heartfelt, humorous, captivating, and personal ceremony we could have ever dreamed of. She truly has a special gift. Melody has an incredibly warm, kind, and calming presence. We met with her in person, and she spent over an hour just listening intently to our story, asking incredibly thoughtful questions, and taking diligent notes. She even had us submit separate answers about what we love about each other to ensure the ceremony was personal. We gave her minimal guidance, we wanted a modern ceremony that had some spiritual rather than religious elements, and she took that vision and ran with it brilliantly. She was super flexible and allowed us to make any changes to the script well in advance, ensuring we were 100% happy. She wrote the homily herself, and it was so fun listening to her beautifully unfold our love story from the beginning. Our guests were laughing, crying, and completely drawn in by her words. We received numerous compliments, with guests immediately asking for her information for their own upcoming weddings. Melody's ability to capture each of our personalities was incredible, and we truly wouldn't change a single aspect. It was the highlight of our wedding, and we will cherish it for the rest of our lives. If you want a knowledgeable, kind-hearted, calming, and personal officiant, look no further than Melody.

Beautiful little spot in Richmond, VA that will give you a beautiful wedding. The space of the chapel itself provides an elegant intimacy for small ceremonies or elopements. We were thrilled with the vows, the flexibility and the immediate responsiveness of the owner. It was a beautiful ceremony and we will cherish the memories forever.

Bryce allowed us to add in our own language to the ceremony script, he gave us suggestions & options, so we weren't getting just the same copy & paste ceremony he says to all couples which felt really personal & nice! We wrote our own vows & so many of our guests commented on how lovely of a ceremony it was. That means a lot (:

We didn't realize that our Officiant was not authorized in Virginia till the last minute. Thankfully, Rev. Byron met us over at the Henrico Courthouse Complex Wedding Venues and took care of the legalities. Tricia and Alex

We loved Timothy's and Bonny's approach and willingness to work with us to make sure our ceremony was what we wanted. We most appreciated that they both had such a great sense of humor through the whole process. My husband is Jewish and I grew up Catholic and Timothy (our "official" officiant) and Bonny (our rabbi) were both so willing to work with us to honor both faiths of our families. Timothy and Bonny put us at ease right away – they were both so open to us and our ideas while guiding us through many of the issues we never thought of and most importantly they were so excited to make our ceremony wonderful and a reflection of us. They both provided us with great resources to help build the ceremony to reflect Jewish and Catholic traditions while incorporating readings and vows that meant a lot to us. We were so lucky to have Timothy and Bonny officiate our ceremony and we highly recommend them both. Thank you, Timothy and Bonny!!

Julie was so warm and welcoming. She celebrated our love long before we said I do. She curated a ceremony that was unique and personal to our desires and we are eternally grateful. She responded to all of our needs and requests very quickly. She had a lot of knowledge on vendors and service providers. She recommended an amazing make up artist to us as well as an accommodating restaurant for dinner.

Carol was amazing. She created the perfect ceremony for us. we are not very religious and she was able to create a special ceremony with many different components that fit us perfextly. She helped so much with the rehersal and we received our liscense very quickly. She provided us with a certificate which is a nice way to remember the day. Melissa was excellent. Being a same sex couple, it was extremely hard to find someone who accepts love for love and not care about the gender of the individuals. We all were nervous at first, but once we opened up, then went smoothly. We wanted something short, sweet, and to the point. She did a wonderful job writing our vows for us. Her patience was great. My family of course wanted to take many pictures, I left her ring in the car, and so much more. She never became inpatient or made us feel like she had other things to do. She made us her only priority in that moment. I have recommended her to so many people. Thank you once again Melissa! You were GREAT!!
