Martoca Beach Garden is THE wedding venue. I have heard horror stories of trying to plan a destination wedding; however, this was the easiest experience I have ever had. Having a full service venue with the best wedding planner, photographers, florists, servers, bartenders, fireworks -- honestly Martoca has the best of everything. As a bride, not having to look through every vendor and navigating contracts and figuring out taxes and gratuity was so helpful when planning a wedding in a different country. The thing I appreciated the most was how quick and easy the communication was with Jimmy and Mariana. They also understood and respected our budget without trying to do any up-selling and even helped us take some of the more expensive budget items off and had other similar options within our price range that they suggested. You truly feel like family and not like a number to them, which was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. And when there that one day event in Puerto Vallarta, Jimmy was very upfront and honest about everything and I never felt like he was hiding anything. That being said, I and my guests walked around Puerto Vallarta (I got married in March) and felt so safe. If any guests have concerns, they should look at the live cameras and see how the boardwalk and life was immediately back to normal. One of the best parts, besides the most amazing wedding day, was the tasting day. My husband and I signed a contract sight unseen, so when it came to tour the venue and do the tasting we were very excited. I was not expecting the food to be as amazing as it was. One of the top responses from our guests was how fresh and amazing the food was. And I completely changed my vision and the whole staff got out the different tables I was envisioning during the tasting and wedding planning day without complaint. I didn't have to change a single thing in terms of florals and the hardest part was figuring out what tasty cocktails to serve at cocktail hour because all were so good and same with the food. Also, the al pastor tacos and churros are a MUST for the late night snacks. The day of the wedding was so easy and I didn't have to stress about a single thing because Mariana and her whole team had timelines for me, my husband and our wedding party and family. I always knew where I needed to be and what time every little thing was. The staff also never let any guest have an empty drink, which for a wedding of about 80, was so impressive. They were even bringing rounds of shots out onto the dance floor and drinks, so the party never had to stop. I do recommend the fireworks and the donkey! The fireworks are sooo impressive and your guests will love taking photos with the worlds cutest burro. The Martoca Film team needs their own special shout out. I came with 0 inspiration photos and said just do whatever they wanted and they delivered! Every photo and video we received, you can just see the artistry behind the camera. And they were so much fun and easy to be around. I truly loved the whole team and they are BEYOND talented. I could write a book on how amazing our wedding was and how easy the whole process was. I may be biased, but this was the best wedding I have ever been to. And we had guests tell us that they wish they knew about this venue when they got married because it was the most magical day for them as well -- which says a lot. I love being a part of the Martoca Family and any time I'm in Puerto Vallarta I will be making it a priority to say hey to the whole crew!

Hilton Vallarta Riviera: Wedding Event Coordinator: Hernan Arenas & Alfonso Even months later it is difficult to put into words the love and joy that we experienced during our wedding week in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from May 22 - 26(and celebrating on May 24). So just know that words cannot do justice the amount of dedication, thoughtfulness and care that everyone involved in our wedding week put into to make it the most amazing time ever for my husband and I. We are a queer couple from Pittsburgh, PA that currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. While the area is known to be one of the most queer friendly areas in the United States- it is not financially feasible unless you are willing to sign a contract a for 30K from the jump for nearly 100 guests. Eventually, we decided to start looking into a destination wedding in a queer friendly area in Mexico since we figured a lot that a lot of our family/friends would be traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast- why not make it a big vacation week for everyone? We checked out several venues(via internet) and while they were accommodating, responsive and budget-friendly they were not offering the what we had in mind for our wedding without making a lot of compromises. We just knew this was the place we wanted to have our wedding at. This is probably around April-May 2023(not sure to be exact) Within days of contact, my (now)husband spoke with Hernan via zoom for their initial meeting while I was at work. He was so excited and within a few weeks we chose a package, signed that contract and started to survey potential guests on whether or not they would be interested in attending our wedding in Mexico. (The contract only required 30 guests, but we had a list of about 130 people to invite. Of this total, 81 friends and family met us the following May at the Hilton Vallarta Riviera for an extraordinary time. Flash-forward to May 19, 2024. We decided to fly in early to prepare and do walkthrough of the space with our planner(shoutout Citlalli from The Green Planner Events- 10/10 would recommend their services for being responsive, acknowledgeable of not only PV, but the Hilton, as well. I will tag and post recommendations for vendors in the post-comments as this ultimately was a group effort and I would 10000000% recommend every vendor again, but being that this is a review for the Hilton Vallarta Riviera- I will proceed with that.) So, upon arrival and our first time traveling out of the country of the USA. We finally reached our destination. We were pleasantly greeted by every staff member we encountered throughout the checking-in process to concierge for making reservations for dinner and spa treatments to exceptional service over the course of our 3 day last-hurrah before our 81 guests arrived and the wedding festivities would commence. Days leading up to the wedding: Our planner met us at the resort, we did a walkthrough of the event spaces with Hernan and Alfonso and discussed certain timelines of the wedding. They planned a lovely rehearsal on the sky bar and dinner at La Luce. We chose to have our ceremony on the Sky Bar and reception in the Beach club area. 10/10 would recommend both during that time of the year(bring hand-fans)! Costa Sur did an amazing job with our wedding. We really enjoyed working with Jessica and her team, who understood our vision for the wedding (honestly even better than we did!) and the other events we had planned and brought them to life, even some of the unusual requests that may have been a first for Jessica or Costa Sur. We were a bit nervous planning a wedding in a different country, but everything worked out better than we could have ever imagined and was so well coordinated. On top of that, the rest of the resort was fantastic and we appreciated the great and friendly service. Our family and friends really enjoyed interacting with Alexander, who was great and seemed to be everywhere! I would highly recommend staying and having a wedding here. They do a wonderful job and are extremely accommodating and helpful with the entire process.

I recently worked with Meliá Puerto Vallarta for my clients’ wedding, and the entire experience was excellent. The resort staff was attentive, organized, and truly cared about creating a memorable celebration for the couple and their guests. Val, the on-site planner, was incredible to work with—calm, professional, and always quick to find solutions. She made the planning process smooth from start to finish, even with last-minute adjustments. Our guests loved the resort’s atmosphere, food, and service, and everything came together beautifully. As a wedding coordinator, I highly recommend Meliá Puerto Vallarta for couples looking for a destination venue that combines great service, beautiful spaces, and an experienced planning team.

My husband, Kyle, and I recently worked closely with Denisse Orozco as our Wedding Planner to make our special day come to life in at the Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco MX. From the first email contact, the service she provided was excellent & professional; from hotel room block organization, menu item recommendations; menu tasting experience to bridal hair and makeup coordination and day of coordination & presence. Denisse worked together with us to ensure all our requests were arranged and fulfilled as agreed upon. Denisse was super patient with all our questions during the planning process and during the days just prior to our wedding. From start to finish I could not have asked for a more dedicated visionary working to make everything happen. The details to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond expectations. Denisse combines an exquisite artistic taste for every detail with all the practical skills and knowledge of how to handle all wedding aspects. She is a gifted wedding planner and deeply loves and enjoys what she does. What’s more, she is an absolute pleasure to be around and I look forward to staying in contact with her and connecting when we are in Puerto Vallarta next. The hotel experience itself was perfection. Our family and friends enjoyed everything from the food, the rooms & the overall experience with the hotel staff. All staff members were incredibly friendly & helpful when we needed it. Our reception staff were absolute perfection and made the evening even better than we imagined. 100% recommend the Sheraton Buganvilias as a fantastic location to host your wedding & definitely recommend Denisse to be your planner.

we are so happy we chose grand miramar to host our wedding! the venue speaks for itself and is stunning. we loved how intimate it was and allowed for all our guests to stay on site. Cesar is also a rockstar! we were able to visit the venue in advance and check out different options for hosting welcome night. he was super responsive and easy to work with virtually - especially with vendor recommendations and guidance. made the whole wedding planning process so simple! the staff at the resort are also super! they are all so friendly and accommodating!

We booked this venue sight unseen risky yes but something about the idea to put all of our family and friends in one place for a destination wedding felt right! I am so happy I went with my gut because Hotel Playa Fiesta was beyond my wildest dreams! The venue itself is magical you are just steps from the ocean and each room is spacious and clean with breathtaking views of Puerto Vallarta. A very special thank you goes to Lindsay and Gabi, the dynamic duo who really brought my wedding vision to life. They are amazing at what they do so responsive to any and all questions nothing is too big or small for them to tackle. On wedding day they were a well oiled machine everything felt so effortless and as a Bride I was able to enjoy myself and embrace the day! The food is incredible our guests still message me about the Chilaquiles in the morning and the 4 course dinner we served at the wedding! The wedding cake I still dream about to this day. The staff is what makes this place amazing they take the time to know each guests name and drink order they make sure to keep the energy and vibes up the whole time. To any Brides that are uncertain is this place to good to be true I get it but go with your gut take this as a sign you won’t regret it!

We couldn’t have have asked for a better week at the W in Punta Mita. The staff is amazing and the property is heaven on earth, literally everywhere was a photo opportunity. We loved how everyone knew about our wedding and was so excited to celebrate with us. There was also so much flexibility in letting us use the facility and spaces which ultimately helped create perfect events all around. We had a lot of requests, it wasn’t just a wedding day it was a really a whole week. The staff never disappointed and always helped with an amazing smile. The food was also delicious a bit on the pricey side after a whole week for three meals but so worth it! We want to relive this magical week so much =) definitely hoping to be back again for our anniversary and see all the friendly faces again. I wanted to specifically thank these people as they were so vital to our perfect wedding. Rosa- the hotel event POC is very responsive and she makes sure that things are done. We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator, thank you so much. Miros- our wedding planner recommended by the W from Marweddings. 100% recommendation, they delivered my perfect dream wedding and made sure we stayed within our budget. It was seriously one of the most beautiful weddings and so glad it was my own! Front desk staff and concierge - we had a lot of requests for transportation, restaurant reservations, facility requests. They were all so professional and helpful.

I found this venue on wedding wore a few years ago and just knew this was the spot I wanted to get married. Little did I know how many incredible surprises there would be along the way. The venue is also a villa that sleeps 16 people. It was so magical having a place to have quality time for our entire wedding party wedding week. Secondly, the staff is INCREDIBLE! Paulina helped coordinate everything to make our stay hassle free. Pillo made us laugh and served us the best drinks of our stay! Grecia kept our rooms immaculate. And the chefs, the chefs served us the best food of our lives! The flavor, the presentation, the everything. Chefs kiss!! Thirdly, not only is the venue stunning, but the private beach is an added bonus ! Robert and Yanina were our wedding planners and really listened to what we wanted and made us laugh, relax and our dreams come true. The owner of the villa is also lovely and stopped by to meet us on wedding day! Couldn’t be more grateful to have this venue !

We chose the Hyatt Ziva for our wedding and it was the perfect choice. The hotel is small enough that you see family and friends and large enough to have activities to do. We had 65 guests and they enjoyed the food, beach, excursions, and pools. The wedding coordinators and staff were very accommodating and made sure that everything went smoothly. The staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and taken care of. The rooms at all levels are nice and we especially love the club rooms. For our wedding we held it at the Pureza beach and did the pool deck reception. It was beautiful and felt private. We had 65 guests and there was plenty of room on the pool deck. We used the recommended DJ from the hotel and they were great, we had a playlist for them and they remixed it really well. We extended the reception by one hour and we’re very happy that we did that so there was enough time to dance. I did the hair and make up at the on-site spa which is included in the package. I would definitely recommend doing a hair/makeup trial to get everything figured out as I had different ideas than my stylist, in the end we figured it out and it turned out exactly as I had wanted. I would get your nails done before you go as mine came off immediately with the nails included in the wedding package. The wedding coordinators were very responsive and could make anything that I asked happen, all I had to do was send a picture! We started planning from the day I booked it. Everything turned out just as I had pictured and even more. We did a beach bonfire for the grooms dinner and added a sound system, we did not add lights and it was ok because the staff set up some small lights anyways. We hired an outside photographer in Puerto Vallarta- Ave Sol with Eva which I would highly recommend!
