When my husband and I visited Cabo to tour wedding venues, we had plans to stay and visit Corazon. And a few other wedding venues. After a day at Corazon and checking out the rooftop, we ended up canceling our other venue tours because we were so impressed. Our wedding planner Luba from Unique Cabo Weddings was so helpful and seemed to have a great relationship with Corazon, which made us even more confident our wedding would be great. Our visit included food tasting with Juan Carlos who was also so helpful throughout our wedding planning process. We were so impressed with the food and drinks at our tasting and the resort as well which was important to us. Our wedding was amazing and the view of our ceremony/cocktail hour was unforgettable. It truly felt like a dream. The service, food, and drinks were amazing as well. We and our guests have been raving about how amazing the wedding and the venue was since we left. It was also important to us to choose a venue that our guests could stay at and have an amazing experience. Everyone was so happy with their stay at Corazon, especially with the pools, beach, food, and service. So many of our guests said they’ll be back at Corazon one day! Deborah was so helpful with our room block situation and helped every guest that needed assistance. We highly recommend Corazon and can’t wait to be back

We couldn’t have been happier with Blue Venado Weddings – Pammul for our special day in December. Our wedding day was absolutely everything I had hoped for, and I truly couldn’t have done it without Yara. Planning a wedding in Mexico while living in New York isn’t easy, but Yara completely understood my vision and brought it to life. Through shipping issues and all my anxious questions, she was consistently supportive, responsive, and reassuring. She also provided fantastic vendor recommendations and made sure every detail was in place—we even had a photo booth and a churro cart, which our guests loved! On the day of the wedding, Yara and her team took incredible care of us. Everything ran smoothly, we felt no stress or hiccups, and we were able to fully enjoy every moment. Our guests had an amazing time, and it truly was one of the best days of our lives. We can’t recommend Blue Venado and Yara enough to any couple considering a wedding in the Riviera Maya / Playa del Carmen. And a special shoutout to our amazing photographers, Pink Balance!

I am so happy we went with Dreams Puerto Morelos. They initially stood out to us because they were so responsive through emails. Many other resorts kept us waiting for days or even weeks to get more wedding information, but Dreams consistently responded the same day, sometimes within the hour! We were helped by Ilians and Denise. They were both extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful during our time organizing the wedding. Once we finally arrived to the resort, they were SO kind in person. The day of the wedding, they had everything completely taken care of. Everything was so organized, I literally had nothing to worry about. These ladies are so incredible at their jobs, I cannot compliment them enough. Everything came together so beautifully. I highly recommend booking the violinist, it truly set such a beautiful vibe. Also, the cake was so delicious! Overall I highly recommend Dreams for a wedding. All of their information is extremely clear, so it’s easy to decide what does and doesn’t work in your budget. I am extremely happy with our wedding, I felt like it was definitely worth the value. We chose the Hyatt Ziva for our wedding and it was the perfect choice. The hotel is small enough that you see family and friends and large enough to have activities to do. We had 65 guests and they enjoyed the food, beach, excursions, and pools. The wedding coordinators and staff were very accommodating and made sure that everything went smoothly. The staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and taken care of. The rooms at all levels are nice and we especially love the club rooms. For our wedding we held it at the Pureza beach and did the pool deck reception. It was beautiful and felt private. We had 65 guests and there was plenty of room on the pool deck. We used the recommended DJ from the hotel and they were great, we had a playlist for them and they remixed it really well. We extended the reception by one hour and we’re very happy that we did that so there was enough time to dance. I did the hair and make up at the on-site spa which is included in the package. I would definitely recommend doing a hair/makeup trial to get everything figured out as I had different ideas than my stylist, in the end we figured it out and it turned out exactly as I had wanted. I would get your nails done before you go as mine came off immediately with the nails included in the wedding package. The wedding coordinators were very responsive and could make anything that I asked happen, all I had to do was send a picture! We started planning from the day I booked it. Everything turned out just as I had pictured and even more. We did a beach bonfire for the grooms dinner and added a sound system, we did not add lights and it was ok because the staff set up some small lights anyways. We hired an outside photographer in Puerto Vallarta- Ave Sol with Eva which I would highly recommend!

Overall we had an amazing experience having our wedding at Mvngata. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and working with Monse as our coordinator made planning our wedding from California so easy. The food was to die for. The location is beyond gorgeous both the beach and the rooftop. The rooms (especially the honeymoon suite) are fantastic. The rooftop has an infinity pool that mimics the colors of the ocean and this is where our guests wanted to spend the entire weekend and we can't blame them. When we were there, we were treated so well. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, taking excellent care of both us and our guests. The only negative I have to say about the venue is that communicating with the hotel itself while planning was a bit difficult for both us and our guests. But I cannot say enough good things about Monse. She took care of EVERYTHING both before and during the wedding, including when we were having trouble talking directly to the hotel. She was so easy to work with, hooked us up with all of our outside vendors and made the planning process honestly so easy and stress-free. The venue was just the right size for our destination wedding with about 55 guests. It was our dream wedding and we will definitely be back.

Petit Lafitte has a TOP NOTCH team! They took care of every desire for my wedding weekend- and went above and beyond! They were so helpful in planning the entire weekend and threw in surprises along the way. This was the best place to get married EVER, we had 100 guests and everyone had a blast. Really tremendously enjoyed this and would highly recommend to everyone planning a wedding weekend!!

Hilton Vallarta Riviera: Wedding Event Coordinator: Hernan Arenas & Alfonso Even months later it is difficult to put into words the love and joy that we experienced during our wedding week in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from May 22 - 26(and celebrating on May 24). So just know that words cannot do justice the amount of dedication, thoughtfulness and care that everyone involved in our wedding week put into to make it the most amazing time ever for my husband and I. We are a queer couple from Pittsburgh, PA that currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. While the area is known to be one of the most queer friendly areas in the United States- it is not financially feasible unless you are willing to sign a contract a for 30K from the jump for nearly 100 guests. Eventually, we decided to start looking into a destination wedding in a queer friendly area in Mexico since we figured a lot that a lot of our family/friends would be traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast- why not make it a big vacation week for everyone? We checked out several venues(via internet) and while they were accommodating, responsive and budget-friendly they were not offering the what we had in mind for our wedding without making a lot of compromises. We just knew this was the place we wanted to have our wedding at. This is probably around April-May 2023(not sure to be exact) Within days of contact, my (now)husband spoke with Hernan via zoom for their initial meeting while I was at work. He was so excited and within a few weeks we chose a package, signed that contract and started to survey potential guests on whether or not they would be interested in attending our wedding in Mexico. (The contract only required 30 guests, but we had a list of about 130 people to invite. Of this total, 81 friends and family met us the following May at the Hilton Vallarta Riviera for an extraordinary time. Flash-forward to May 19, 2024. We decided to fly in early to prepare and do walkthrough of the space with our planner(shoutout Citlalli from The Green Planner Events- 10/10 would recommend their services for being responsive, acknowledgeable of not only PV, but the Hilton, as well. I will tag and post recommendations for vendors in the post-comments as this ultimately was a group effort and I would 10000000% recommend every vendor again, but being that this is a review for the Hilton Vallarta Riviera- I will proceed with that.) So, upon arrival and our first time traveling out of the country of the USA. We finally reached our destination. We were pleasantly greeted by every staff member we encountered throughout the checking-in process to concierge for making reservations for dinner and spa treatments to exceptional service over the course of our 3 day last-hurrah before our 81 guests arrived and the wedding festivities would commence. Days leading up to the wedding: Our planner met us at the resort, we did a walkthrough of the event spaces with Hernan and Alfonso and discussed certain timelines of the wedding. They planned a lovely rehearsal on the sky bar and dinner at La Luce. We chose to have our ceremony on the Sky Bar and reception in the Beach club area. 10/10 would recommend both during that time of the year(bring hand-fans)! Without hesitation they were the very best. We initially flew from the San Francisco area 4 months prior to our wedding date to check out the venue. I remarked on numerous occasions to my wife and daughter how patient Steve and Mariluz were with all of our decision making. Extremely helpful in every way imaginable. We received countless comments of appreciation on how well everything went. We highly recommend their services and you will be very happy with your choice.
