My husband and I took Mike's business card about ~7 years ago and held onto it this entire time till we got married last May! (This review is long overdue). Mike is not only funny, quick on his feet, and friendly, but extremely professional. He is definitely a step above the rest among the DJs we shopped around for on the South Shore. We probably invested slightly more in our music than any of our other vendors on the wedding day because music was that important to us. Mike is able to react quickly and smoothly if any changes occur or issues arise on the day of. He also communicates ahead of time with your vendors, and he is familiar with so many venues on the South Shore that he knows the layout, staff, etc. enough for everything to run super smoothly. Mike works with you every step of the way on your music selection, reception entrance, and ensures that he knows all of your bridal party/relevant family members' names and pronunciations ahead of time. He is really on top of his game and it almost looks too easy watching him do his job, but I'm sure it's because he's been so experienced in the field. The big reason we hired Mike is because we remember his song TRANSITIONS were FLAWLESS. That was a huge deal to us (maybe it's not to other couples). A lot of other weddings we've been to really feel off when songs don't musically transition well. His music taste is great, but our only issue is that not all of our "must play" songs were played (coincidentally my husband's picks that he was looking forward to were the ones that were dropped and my picks from the "must play" and "can play" list were picked up). We understand though that it's tough to fit everything, especially when the crowd reacts to one type of music over another. If we were to do it again, we would absolutely still hire Mike because he is great to work with and honestly seems like the best in the business.
