The thought of planning a big, expensive wedding stressed us out to the point we were leaning toward being married by a JP or eloping until we found Weddings By Reverend Dan. We opted for the "small wedding package" at Dan's cottage which was extremely reasonably priced. Rev Dan provided us a simple yet elegant small wedding with our immediate families. Literally all we had to do was show up dressed and ready to wed! He married us in a lovely garden-like outdoor setting that made for a beautiful back drop for our pictures. During the ceremony, he spoke of love, the meaning of marriage and even read a touching poem that had our hearts melting and our eyes misting. After the ceremony, we had a cozy reception in doors with champagne, punch, and a delicious wedding cake adorned with fresh flowers. Rev Dan made everything so easy and it turned out amazing! Had we known how easy & wonderful it would be to be married at Dan's we probably would have tied the knot sooner. It was truly one of the happiest days of our lives.

Rick and Anne were so wonderful to work with! My husband and I wanted a non-religious but fairly traditional ceremony, but didn't know how to create that ourselves. Rick and Anne walked us through different ceremony options, and worked with us to make the ceremony perfect. They helped us make it meaningful to us, and incorporated so many personal details, including a prayer that our Catholic grandparents appreciated, even though it was spiritual, and not specifically religious, which was perfect for us. Rick was on time for the rehearsal and ceremony, and helped calm our nerves at the rehearsal and make everything run smoothly. I would highly recommend Rick and Anne to other couples!
