I am passionate about helping couples develop their dream ceremony while also providing a high level of professionalism. I work hard to make the experience as exciting and stress-free as possible because I believe that every couple deserves to be treated with respect. Although the Pandemic has changed the way we have to do business, I am still available and flexible to ideas to get our couples united as long as it satisfies Social Distancing guidelines.
Services Offered
OPEN TO ALL!! Toomer's Tax, Notary, and Wedding Officiant Services is happy to work with couples to create their perfect wedding service. The ceremonies generally last between 30 and 60 minutes, and I am licensed in the state of Louisiana. Before the big day, couples are welcome to schedule a ceremony rehearsal to make sure everything goes smoothly. Toomer's Tax, Notary, and Wedding Officiant Services can accommodate many wedding types, including non-religious, interfaith, and single-religion ceremonies; vow renewals; civil unions; and same-sex marriages. I have experience with several religious affiliations as well, such as Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, and non-denominational couples.

Amazing officiant
We are so happy we chose Gizelda as our officiant because she went above and beyond for us on our wedding day! It was very important for us to hire a Black woman, and we couldn’t be happier to find Gizelda. She was very detailed and responsive, which made us feel at ease throughout the planning process. She was always prompt and made sure that she was a part of every moment necessary.
We had a major issue the morning of our wedding when the hotel staff mistakenly discarded our marriage application and you can imagine - It was very very tense and stressful. But remained calm and assured us that she would make sure that we would get things fixed. She helped us every step of the way and we couldn’t be more appreciative for all of her work and her kindness. Our family all commented on how nice she was, and it was great to see her talking and connecting with our family and friends. we would definitely recommend her and certainly hire her again, and again!

The Officiant was very nice, welcoming, and professional.
Awesome wedding officiant! We had a surprised 70s Themed wedding. She made the ceremony’s so smooth and welcoming. It was also my 40th birthday, but the sweetest thing was it was her birthday as well, and she still made time to be a part of my event.

Best day of our lives!
Gizelda was fantastic! She was very helpful in getting our marriage licenses. She gave us exactly what we wanted in a wedding ceremony, and even some gift baskets! We would highly recommend her to anyone eloping!
