House of Diamonds is run by a father and son duo! :D Daniel helped me create a custom wedding band for my husband to be!! He was very detail oriented and really wanted to make sure we were extremely satisfied with the craftsmanship. He educated me on diamonds and when faced with picking from 3 diamonds, he didn't encourage me to buy the most expensive. He was very patient and was genuine in wanting to provide the best customer service! The ring turned out beyond excellent!! Even that doesn't begin to describe it. I am proud that Bill Irish is our jeweler! Both of our children were married recently. Our son was married on May 25, 2013 and our daughter was married on June 15, 2013. Our son wanted something different for his wife's engagement ring. He did not want a diamond; he wanted a sapphire. He also wanted it to be hand carved -- very intricate carvings that made it look antique, vintage. We started on the plan in July, 2012. Bill searched the country for the perfect sapphire. He created a pattern for the platinum ring that is exquisite! The engagement ring is stunning -- just breathtaking. When they got married, Bill created a matching wedding band. Our daughter-in-law is so happy with her rings! When our daughter got married in June, I gave her my wedding band as an heirloom. Bill resized it and refinished her engagement ring. Both rings are beautiful! Bill's attention to detail and customer service is unparalleled. We adore him!!

My husband went to several jewelers on the island to see what type of engagement rings they offered. He decided he would go into different jewelry stores wearing his work clothes, which aren’t that nice. He wanted to see which of the jewelers would treat him well. Unfortunately, most places did not even give him the time of day. Although, when he went to Ben Bridge Jeweler in the Ala Moana Shopping Center, Melodie was very helpful and welcoming. She did not judge him based on what he was wearing and was able to help him choose the perfect engagement ring for me. I would suggest going to Melodie for your jewelry needs. She is nice, doesn’t judge you based on appearance, and doesn’t try to scam you into buying things you shouldn’t. She is the real deal! She has been selling customers jewelry for almost 10 years now and knows what she is doing. If we need to buy jewelry in the future, we will not hesitate to go back to Melodie. She is the best!
