We chose the Acqua Hotel as one of two hotels to recommend to our guests. This was our luxurious option, and Travelodge was our cheap option. Our favorite part about the Acqua Hotel was that rather than requiring us to book a whole block of rooms, they gave us a discount code that any quantity of guests could use. In the end, many guests decided to stay elsewhere because of cost, but Acqua never complained or punished us for that. My parents thought their room (a Queen bed room) was too shabby for the price. My bridesmaids and husband and I were thrilled with our Junior Suite! The bridesmaids stayed with me the night before, and the Acqua Hotel brought an extra bed for them (at $20 extra per bridesmaid and $20 extra for rollaway bed). Unfortunately, the Acqua Hotel wouldn't let my (adult) flower girl stay as well, because they said 4 people was the maximum for the suite, even though the room clearly had space for at least one more person (and even a chaise longue that she could have slept on). The view was gorgeous and the breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. There was also tea by Republic of Tea available 24/7, as well as a wine and cheese reception at 5:00, a cookie reception at 7:00, and a bottle of champagne in the room. (FYI, the cost of $585.22 was for 2 nights.)

I cannot say enough about the wedding event staff at the Mountain Home Inn. Ceci Jordan and the entire event staff were phenomenal. Ceci guided us through the planning details, and was always helpful, cheerful, and well-informed. She helped us feel very taken care of, and she was conscious of our budget and our aesthetic choices for the wedding, and helped us make good choices for the event. Once we arrived for the weekend, we couldn't believe the kindness, attention, and helpfulness of the entire staff. I can't name every person who helped us over the weekend, but Brayson (I hope I am remembering that right!), Selvin, and Daniel stood out as they literally catered to our (and our guests') every whim. They were especially considerate of my mother-in-law, who was on continuous oxygen and needed special considerations to be kept comfortable. My in-laws were so impressed with the staff and the service that they elected to stay a third night--and that says a lot about how well they were treated. Every single staff member during the wedding was courteous, kind, and able to change plans on a whim, which we had to do several times. My guests noted how incredibly patient, helpful, and kind the entire waitstaff was during the reception, despite the crowd and the last-minute change of plans. I cannot overstate how amazing the wedding event staff at the Mountain Home Inn were--I would recommend this venue wholeheartedly.

We had a terrific experience with D'Angelo catering and The Acqua hotel where they provided our Wedding Vows Renewal dinner. The Director of Catering at D'Angelo (and the staff) were unbelievably helpful - professional, flexible and took lots of extra time to work with us to be sure we were satisfied with our food choices for appetizers and dinner. Sara and Judy were both calm and non-flustered during the beginning of the ceremony when things got a tad hectic. And the food……both entree choices were absolutely delicious. Many of our guests commented on the high quality of the food and at least two said it was the 'best meal' they've had! High praise indeed and we couldn't have been more pleased with how our ceremony, cocktail and dinner turned out. Hats off to D'Angelo and their great team.
