We had a terrific experience with D'Angelo catering and The Acqua hotel where they provided our Wedding Vows Renewal dinner. The Director of Catering at D'Angelo (and the staff) were unbelievably helpful - professional, flexible and took lots of extra time to work with us to be sure we were satisfied with our food choices for appetizers and dinner. Sara and Judy were both calm and non-flustered during the beginning of the ceremony when things got a tad hectic. And the food……both entree choices were absolutely delicious. Many of our guests commented on the high quality of the food and at least two said it was the 'best meal' they've had! High praise indeed and we couldn't have been more pleased with how our ceremony, cocktail and dinner turned out. Hats off to D'Angelo and their great team.

What's more important at a wedding than the food?! Ok, maybe the actual ceremony, the vows exchanged and the commitment that two people are making to each other publicly. But other than that, we all know it's the food (and drink)!
Pizza D'Angelo has been a favorite spot of ours for dinner, lunch or just a late night glass of wine and dessert. And with every visit we were made to feel special and appreciated just for being there. For our wedding day, it was important for us to use a local restaurant known for their delicious food, wine and service....so choosing D'Angelo Catering was a no brainer. Although we picked some standard items (salmon, filet and pasta), the food was anything but standard. Every dish had a unique twist, interesting flavor profiles and was cooked to perfection! The plating was beautiful and the food all came out hot and fresh (cooked on site).
All of our guests commented on the level of service being top notch, and my husband and I agreed! I've heard stories of Brides who never got to take a bite, had to beg a bridesmaid to bring a glass of wine....we never had that problem. The D'Angelo staff was one step ahead of us all night! They made sure our schedule flowed smoothly and that the wine did as well!

I would absolutely recommend D'Angelo Catering to future brides or party hosts! And we will definitely continue to visit the restaurant on a regular basis! :)

D Angelo put its best into our only daughter's wedding: food was extraordinarily delicious, presentation excellent and so artistic, and staff was very helpful.Managed by Rodney Davis, D Angelo is the restauranteur and caterer to go to when in Mill Valley.

Rodney and Piazza D'angelo Catering made our wedding very memorable! First of all, Rodney is the most professional catering manager I've spoken with. He was very accommodating with our budget and food preferences and he always responds very promptly. He's also just a genuine delight to work with and he and his staff made our wedding fun, cleaned up after the guests, and worked their magic behind-the-scenes. Rodney also went above and beyond his job and managed to take photos of the wedding and even help clean up the morning after.

In addition to the excellent service, the Piazza D'Angelo food was one of the highlights of our wedding. Everybody raved about it and we had many positive feedback where the guests said that was the best wedding food they've ever had. Note: definitely ask for the pizza appetizers and the beef short ribs!!!

D'Angelo's catered my wedding and did a wonderful job. They set up 2 bars, per my request, so that my guests wouldn't be waiting in lines to get a drink. They allowed me and my then fiance to do 2 tastings for free because we wanted to try even more items on their menu. D'Angelo's is a restaurant in downtown Mill Valley that is always packed to the brim. To have them cater my wedding was just perfect and all the guests gave me positive feedback on the meat dish, fish dish, and veggie option. I couldn't have been happier! They also worked with me on the wine corkage fees since it was a bad economy and my budget didn't allow for the entire cost. Courtney was wonderful to work with, very professional, and even wore our colors to our reception!

Rodney and his staff were excellent and made our wedding a memorable and stress free day! Food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. Recommend crab appetizers, beef skewers, pasta salad, beet salad among others! Thank you for professional and friendly service.
