My fiance and I wanted to make sure we had a queer friendly jeweler, and we found Krikawa through a web search. She worked with a designer to make an engagement ring out of stones from some family heirloom jewelry, and my ring could not have been more perfect. We recently picked up our matching wedding bands (also using stones from heirloom jewelry) and we can't wait to wear them. When designing the bands, we went in together with a loose vision of what we wanted and Lisa and Sandrine helped make that vision come to light. If you want a truly unique piece (and a queer friendly jeweler), I highly recommend Krikawa! P.S. They do a wide variety of styles and offer a ton of customization, so even if you don't see exactly what you want, they can likely make it happen. My engagement ring is a little daintier and simpler than most of the pieces I've seen on their instagram, and it came out perfect.

I bought my fiance's wedding band from this company, but we bought ours in Montclair. They were very friendly. They didn't make you feel like I shouldn't be in their store like some places do because I look very young. My only issue was I felt like they were trying to use sales tactics to make a sale, but they were not pressuring me. I just tend to feel that way, it is a big purchase. We did discuss it further and we got a nice price on the ring, at least $100 than other jewelers. And they were also quick to explain the guarantee on the ring, which other places tried to charge for, or didn't tell us all together. (We looked at the exact same ring at each store, all the same brand.)

Everyone at William Thigpen Jewelers were friendly, professional and so helpful to us in finding the perfect ring. I wanted a vintage wedding ring, under $2,000, platinum and diamond, and took them several print outs from Fay Cullen's super expensive site for a ball-park of what I was looking for in a ring (you have to be more ball-parky when looking for vintage/estate pieces). Not only did they scour their contacts to find me a great ring with a huge diamond, but the ring also had sapphires in it the same color as my husband's eyes. Seriously, these people mean business and their prices are amazing.

My husband and I selected our wedding rings at Viir and, while we had some pretty simple requests (we prefer simplicity), they met them exactly and gave us beauty and comfort at a very reasonable price. My ring feels perfect, barely notice it's there, but it never falls off. The only thing to keep in mind is that for resizing they have someone else come in sometimes and he works on a limited schedule so it takes awhile to get your jewelry back. That said, the job was done very well and everyone was upfront about the wait time! We had everything done with time to spare.

We were looking for an engagement ring while visiting my husband's home town of Tucson, AZ and we were told by a local server at a restaurant that Rainbow was the place to go. We ventured over to Rainbow and were greeted by Joann and her husband and their sweet dog Bello. The jewelry selection that we saw was gorgeous. When we found the ring we loved, Joann worked with us and our budget to make it happen! Once back in TN, we knew we wanted to buy our wedding bands from Rainbow too. Joann was awesome! She overnighted wedding bands for us to try and really gave us a great deal. Our experience from start to finish with Rainbow was just wonderful. They are highly professional and have a wonderful selection of beautiful jewelry but above all of this , their passion for making their customer truly happy was felt above all. You will absolutely get what you want here both in quality and in service. Highly suggest Rainbow Jewelers to anyone!
