Husband and wife team Zachary and Victoria Hansen are simply brilliant and unique in their craft! They are both professional photographers, with degrees in Photography, which is really nice because a lot of other photographers bring an assistant, who is either just an assistant (holding cameras, etc.) or not a true professional. We were so excited to work with them after getting a recommendation from our florist (check out review for Lake Forest Flowers). Super easy to work with and gave some good recommendations around the wedding day schedule and what pictures to capture. They offer with their contract, the option of an engagement shoot but due to timing, we were unable to utilize that option. Luckily, they were amendable to give us an extra free hour of service on our wedding day. The day of they were all business and kept us on track, while being extremely flexible to the goings-on and the craziness of taking pictures of all the key people/families, etc. It was a cold day in January (low 20s) and they were very cognizant of the fact it was that cold and made sure to shoo us all back inside to warm up. Victoria even threw her coat over my shoulders a few times and let me sit in her car to warm up. We took pictures outside in front of the Inn (check out review for the Deer Path Inn), down the street at a church and inside the Inn on the stairwell. During the ceremony they were respectful of the spiritualness of the event and made sure to ask our pastor about what he wanted or didn't want to take place during the ceremony. Their perspective is so interesting and different, our pictures could not have turned out better! I am thrilled beyond belief that they so beautifully captured our special day. You have to book this talented couple for your wedding! Your pictures will not end up looking like everyone else's. Totally worth the money!

Zachary and Victoria were wonderful! They were extremely easy to work with and helpful thought the entire process. We wanted to have pictures taken at the local beach (which has limited access) so they even drove our wedding party to the location. During our religious ceremony, they were very respectful and I did not even notice their presence, though the photos are lovely! They captured all of the moments we requested and made two camera shy people feel comfortable through the whole process. The photos were processed quickly and I love the very artistic style. It was also fabulous to have two photographers as looking at the different perspectives is wonderful. Our families and guests also commented about their efficiency and unobtrusiveness throughout the day!
