We are Williamsburg, Virginia's premier special event rental company. Our reputation was earned by providing personal service and attention to detail. Clean, new equipment and a staff that is courteous and helpful are two more indicators of our high standards. We are passionate about our work and take the time to get to know our clients so that we can make your special event just as you envision.

Our clients benefit from our knowledge and our approach to service by becoming involved in the planning and decision-making process. An informed client knows that there is much more to planning an event than simply choosing the decor and food. The event location, tent type, load-in/out, and other logistical considerations all make an impact on the feel of an event. We strive to make our events run smoothly from start to finish by helping our clients make well-informed choices, and our vast event production experience makes that possible.

Established in 1996, the company originally had two components: custom canvas and event rentals. As time passed and both grew, we decided to focus our energy on one. Williamsburg Event Rentals was born, and to this day we strive to show you that we do one thing, and we do it best. We have slowly, but surely, earned the trust of a wide range of clients, including some cornerstones of our community such as Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary. We aim to preserve that trust, whether the event is a high-profile one or a small family get-together. We want to be the company you choose when you celebrate your milestones, and we know it is an important decision for you.

Reasonably priced and effective rental company

We were referred to WER by our wedding caterer , and we were pleased with our entire experience . We primarily worked with Kayla and Lorie. They make rental selection a no-brainer because of their experience and their wide selection of products . We were able to sit down and actually look at napkin swatches, chairs, etc. to be able to visualize our big day . They were extremely responsive via email to all my questions/concerns and guest count updates. We stayed within a reasonable budget as well. We had timely delivery, set-up and pickup , honestly went off without a hitch !

Flexible, professional, perfect!

Who would have thought people would rave about the TENT at my wedding?! But they did! The team did a wonderful job from the initial site survey to installation to tear down. We also ordered tables, chairs and linens here and everything looked beautiful. I added a few items to our initial estimate and the team was flexible and replied promptly. Highly recommend!

Williamsburg Event Rentals was a dream to work with! We rented tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and flatware from them, and everything turned out perfect - it was a beautiful reception! We had to request a few changes to the quantities we were ordering at the last minute, and Williamsburg Event Rentals were very accommodating and flexible. We really appreciate everything they did and would highly recommend them to any couple planning a Williamsburg wedding!

They made sure everything was perfect! The were professional and courteous every step of the way. We had found a beautiful venue but one that came with no rain plan. Williamsburg Event Rentals made it a dream come true with a spacious tent and gorgeous dance floor. We were able to get married in the church we loved then have the reception on the same property in a heated tent (perfect for a late winter / early spring wedding). Everything was done in advance so day of all we had to do was enjoy our wedding and reception. We felt secure knowing that the professionals had it all handled.

We had the pleasure of hosting Williamsburg Event Rentals here on our grounds at Historic St. Luke's Church in Smithfield. Despite some unexpectedly frigid weather, they were perfect and Johnny on the spot with heaters to keep the guests comfortable. The couple and guests seemed thrilled and we would gladly host them again in the future.

I used Williamsburg Event Rentals to rent chairs, a dance floor, and heaters for my wedding at the W&M Alumni House. Michelle was great to work with and very responsive in answering my questions. Michelle handled the logistics of delivery and pickup and everything worked out great. I definitely recommend this vendor for rentals.

We made arrangements for the rentals long-distance. We had no idea what the venue looked like or what we needed, so Michelle contacted the venue on her own to determine what we needed. Everything was delivered promptly to the wedding site, and was picked up just as promptly afterwards. Michelle was very pleasant to work with and relieved us of so much stress!

Jennifer was our contact person and she handled everything. She got with our vendor site (Two Rivers Country Club) and handled it all, to the stage for the band, tent on stand by in case it rained our beautiful table cloths and everything from A to Z. We rented only a few items from Williamsburg Event Rentals – Ivory table clothes and gold overlays for our reception tables. The overlays were gorgeous and looked very pretty on the tables with the center pieces and candles. The staff at the shop was wonderful to work with. We knew we wanted gold and they showed us quite a few tablecloths. They were very helpful and flexible – they allowed us to change the number of items all the way up until a week before the event! I would strongly recommend them!
