My husband and I searched for a long time to find the right photographer for our wedding experience. Neither of us love being in front of a camera (as many people say), and so we wanted to find someone who made us feel incredibly comfortable and kept things natural/organic.

After interviewing various other photographers we found Wiley who not only made it feel like we were working with a friend, but he worked with us to plan the exact kind of package we were hoping for on our big day.

After we worked with him on our engagement photo shoot, we knew we had picked the right person. Our experience during the engagement shoot was so comfortable that both my husband and I said we couldn't wait for him to shoot our big day.

And I can confirm that Wiley was even better on the day of the wedding. Everyone, from our bridal party to our party attenders, spoke about how great our photographer was because he made them feel comfortable. His photos speak for themselves. He aligned before the big day on key moments we wanted, family members to capture, and he went above and beyond. My particular favorite thing he did was taking photos of our dance party (which was what I was most excited about). He made the dance floor look even more full and fun than I remember.

Wiley is the absolute BEST! We knew immediately after our introductory Zoom call that he was our guy. He has such a lovely, welcoming personality that instantly puts you at ease when you're in front of the camera - even for camera-shy folks like us. He was extremely flexible and the ultimate hype man! And on top of all this, his photography is stunning. We received so many compliments on his composition, editing, and capturing our true emotions / personality. I wish I could have another wedding just to work with Wiley again. All of our other vendors only had positive things to say about working with Wiley, so do yourself a favor and hire him!!

Wiley Putnam. Not even sure where to start.

My wife (then fiancé) and I were 'shopping' around for a photographer to shoot our engagement & wedding pictures. We ended up with a great friend.

The introductory phone call, coffee date (two or three times?), check-in texts, and engagement shoot were amazing. Somehow, it got better. The timely and helpful constant communication, the reminders to eat, drink, and rest during the wedding day, and somehow turned out 90 photo Sneak Peek in one day? He does not sleep, but he will make sure he does his best so that you feel your best.

We encountered issues during our timeline discussions and Wiley was already willing to be flexible, offer his expertise, and be our number one advocate. We ran behind on our timeline because... wedding; however, he heavily supported our decision to have a two hour buffer for the day... and it saved everything.

Throughout the wedding, Wiley made sure we were hydrating, eating, resting, checking-in with each other, and managing our social batteries. We will plan to work with him in the future and we will always recommend him for anyone looking. 11/10. Would recommend every time.

Wiley is a phenomenal photographer! My husband and I knew when we first got engaged that after our wedding day we would walk away with each other, our marriage, our memories, and the moments captured from our day. So we went on the hunt for a photographer within the Seattle area who's style we liked. Luckily, Wiley was on the list of Top Seattle Photographers. We absolutely loved his work and reached out for a quote about a year out from our set wedding date. We felt so lucky to have him even at that point.

After reserving your date, you can choose different tiers or packages for his photography services. One thing I thought was very professional is that he includes engagement packages for wedding reservations. Wiley emphasizes the importance of feeling like ourselves and showing our true selves in front of the camera, especially on one of the biggest days of our lives. So, he met with us even before our engagement shoot to get to know us, our style, set expectations, and make sure we felt comfortable. Our photos turned out to be so amazing! We knew he would exceed our wishes, come our wedding.

Fast forward 6 months, in the midst of the pandemic, Wiley stuck with us and was flexible to changes that had to be made. We had to accommodate a much more intimate wedding than we had originally planned, but it turned out to be perfect in our eyes! He was there from the very beginning of the day until dark as close family and friends were leaving.

Wiley was one of the only vendors that was actually with us through all of the changes. His bottom line was to keep us happy, be there for us, and capture every moment of the best day of our lives.

You can tell Wiley loves what he does. He shows up with a smile on his face, a positive and can-do attitude, and does his magic!

What can you say about Wiley? The list of compliments is truly endless. We met with Wiley first when we were hunting for wedding photographers, and after our initial meeting, decided not to meet with any others. Wiley is an amazingly awesome guy and does a great job working with you to make you feel comfortable and match your personalities to the photo shoots.

We did both our engagement session at Discovery Park in Seattle and our wedding in Leavenworth with Wiley. Throughout it all, Wiley was on-point, capturing fantastic photos that come out looking natural and not over-photo-shopped with a ‘glossy’ feel. He brought an amazing assistant to our wedding as well, and she was lovely to work with.

Wiley was loved by friends and family alike while working, and came to hang with us as a friend for the after-party. We also received TONS of positive comments from friends and family who interacted with Wiley at the wedding.

I can’t say enough how in love I am with the photos that Wiley took, we’ve only seen our snea peek and can’t wait to see the rest! He was a pleasure to work with and all of our guests said he was so much fun to have around. I would highly recommend Wiley and will definitely hire him again if we ever need photos!

Wiley is absolutely amazing! He is professional, responsive, and truly talented! He was very accommodating with our schedules by scheduling a Skype meeting to discuss our ideas and wishes several months in advance of the wedding, as well as, met us for coffee a few days prior to the wedding. Wiley is very personable and energetic making it so easy to relax in front of the camera! His images are absolutely beautiful and showcase the natural beauty of the scenery and subject matter with minimal touch-up.

Wiley photographed our wedding and was with us during every step; from the time we were getting ready, to the ceremony, and to the reception. He ensured that he captured every moment with both candids and formal family photos. We had several guests comment on Wiley's professionalism and work ethic throughout our event. Wiley also allows his couples to have the rights to the images which many photographers are reluctant to do.

My wife and I were having a small courthouse wedding in Portland. We sifted through a bunch of photographers until we found Wiley and we absolutely love our photos. As he's based in Seattle, he traveled for our wedding and we were able to meet up with him the night before to talk about ideas, locations, style, etc. He was very receptive to all our ideas and possible locations.
The next day we picked him up and went to at least 5 locations around the city for some photos. He offered a good amount of direction so we didn't look too posed and stayed relaxed, resulting in a lot of candid, awesome photos. At the courthouse we got a good mix of the ceremony and with our witnesses/the judge.
We received our photos within two weeks. I'd definitely recommend him to any of my friends.
