First a quick note on the owner before I rave about their wedding cakes -- Evie, the amazing cake chef, has split from Wildflour and now has her own shop in Roanoke called "Evie's Bakery and Bistro" - Please check this location out!

If you want world-class cake for your wedding, look no further than Evie. We got a 3-tier cake with Marie Antoinette (raspberry) and Lemon Chiffon. We ordered a lot of extra cake (COVID wedding, not many came...) and we RAN OUT. As the Bride, I only got a quick bite during the cake cutting and no more. Many guests had a slice of each, many saying that they usually don't even like wedding cake, but that they cannot determine which of ours is the best because it was so delicious.

I also want to comment that our wedding cake looked like a dream! It came out exactly as I had described to Evie and I could not be happier with the photos. It may look like a stock cake I found on google, but nope, that is the real cake we had in our September wedding at Big Spring Farm in Lexington! We had our florist leave her some flowers to put into the cake and Evie may have outdone our florist!

Evie was easy to work with. She is so professional but also so nice. I would highly recommend her to everyone having any event anywhere in the area.

We had a small two tiered cake and two sheet cakes in a beautiful ombre rosette decoration with buttercream icing. Our lemon cake with lemon curd icing was absolutely delicious!! I am tempted to break into that top tier before our anniversary! Thanks so much to Evie and her team,

MOST DELICIOUS WEDDING CAKE EVER TASTED! We received uncountable remarks on how wonderful our cake tasted. It was beautifully decorated and ridiculously delicious. We loved getting our cake from Evie at Wildflour Bakery.

The best cake we have ever eaten! We did 2 small tiers and 2 sheet cakes and they were all excellent. If you are in town go and eat in her restaurant, the food is fantastic!

This is old hat for Evie. The cake met my very high expectations based on her reputation -- beautiful, delicious, exactly what I ordered. We did a white and chocolate cake (different layers) with plain buttercream frosting, to please the most people. The tasting process was, of course, super enjoyable. You go to the bakery and get a little sample of each cake and frosting, with an opportunity to mix and match.

The cake was beautiful and delicious! It was a little pricey compared to some of the other bakeries but well worth it!!!

We got our wedding cake from Wildflour Bakery. We did the cake tasting ahead of time, and we were pleased with all of the delicious flavors of cake and frosting! It was so hard to choose, so we did a different flavor on each tier. There were tons of compliments on our cake at the wedding, both on the look and the taste. (It was designed to look like a birch tree). We would highly recommend Wildflour bakery to anyone who wants a unique and delicious wedding cake (and they offer delivery too)!

Evie was wonderful! The cake tasting is so much fun and you get to take what you can't eat with you! All of the flavors are so delicious, we had a very hard time choosing. She is able to create almost any design (we went to 3 other bakeries that told us they wouldn't be able to do what we wanted, she said, "no problem"). I'm so glad we found Wildflour, all of the guests raved about how tasty the cake was. We will definitely use Wildflour for any future events/celebrations!

Evie was great! I explained my wacky idea for a wedding cake, and she made it come alive! I had her submit a color sketch of my idea to verify we were on the same page, and she complied. I asked her to practice making icing Hokiebird feet tracks, and she did! My cake was amazing and I was thrilled! Even if you've found someone else, go to her cake tastings, because she brings out a tray with every flavor of cake she makes, and every flavor of icing/filling and you get to mix and match at the tasting! You get to choose two fillings and 1 cake flavor per tier. I had three tiers and it was enough for 150 people. She owns her own restaurant, so you don't have to worry about home bakers who may have dogs running around, and/or construction work going on in their house (dusty dog hair cake, eww!).

Our experience with Evie was fabulous from start to finish. The cake tasting was informative (and delicious) and throughout the process she was very easy to get a hold of. At the wedding the cake was beautiful and tasted great! I have gotten many compliments on the cake.
