When booking a photographer for my wedding I had no idea who I was going to use. We cannot say enough amazing things about our experience working with Aly of Wild Cotton Photography. From the beginning she was communicative, kind, and easy to work with, and she really blew us away on the day of the wedding. Aly arrived at 9am and from that moment she was capturing everything, she even kept our photo timeline on track down to the minute. Aly also went out of her way to repeatedly make sure I was comfortable and drinking water, and she asked our opinions about photo locations, if we wanted to get some more during cocktail hour, etc. Her second shooter, Melissa, was also incredibly kind and provided beautiful photos from a second perspective. All of our guests raved about Aly as she was always there to snap the pic someone else was getting on an iPhone. Even better, we received previews of our photos the same night of the wedding and the full gallery just 9 days later, and they are so beautiful!

Aly was our photographer for our wedding. There was some last minute changes we made to our timeline for photos, but it was completely worth it. Let me just start out by saying that Aly is one of the most wonderful people I've ever met and also just happens to be the most bomb photographer. She took our photos for our engagement pictures, my bridal portraits and our wedding. Every experience was better than the one before. She makes you feel SO special. She is literally so sweet and has some great tips and tricks to help you and to make her pictures turn out to be magazine worthy. We worked with her over the course of a couple years (because of covid) and we are so glad we chose her. It took me FOREVER to narrow down pictures to share with our family and friends from our wedding because we were so obsessed with all of them. If you want the prettiest, dreamiest, airiest Charleston pictures you've ever seen where you're like omg I can't believe that's me because the picture it looks like it just came out of Vogue... Look no further. We felt like we just had an extra best friend with us who just happened to be taking our pictures. She's so much more than a photographer and you will not regret choosing her. Aly was the photographer for one of my best friend's weddings several years ago and I have followed her on social media ever since so when my fiance and I decided we wanted to take engagement pictures in Charleston it was an easy decision on who to call! Aly was not only an amazing photographer, but an excellent "side-kick" that helped me survive my wedding days (yes, we hired her for TWO weddings)! My husband and I held an Indian wedding and an American "traditional" wedding, and regardless of the very different colors, decor, and "vibes" of each wedding, the photos turned out absolutely stunning for each! Not only did my husband, our bridal party, our families and me feel at ease throughout the photography process, but Aly also helped me with my Indian veil that constantly fell off throughout our photo shoot and with my bustle that would NOT stay up at my American wedding.
