If you are lucky enough to lock down this venue on the date that you want, you will love everything about it. The venue is large, clean, has a full kitchen, with great bathroom facilities, an amazing patio for the ceremony and a beautiful setting. There is also ample parking and a park/beach nearby. We did most of our photos on the dock and around the venue, which turned out amazing, and Golden Ears park is close by for photos. One thing to note about this venue is that there is only one taxi company in the area, which is pricey, so we hired our own charter bus. We were were able to bring in our own caterers and alcohol which saved us a lot of money. Make sure you book this venue at least 1.5 yrs in advance as it books up VERY quickly.

A beautiful location with plenty of space for guests, events and pictures. Book early!

This place was beautiful, it was the only reason we were married in April, we just had to have our reception there!

Right on the lake, making for beautiful pictures as well as a gorgeous hall with so many windows and a big dance floor! It was the perfect size, and it helped keep our numbers not too high (160 max). Worked like a charm.

They rent out the chairs and tables too, so its perfect!

The only negative is you can't set up a day in advance! But we toughed through that, and it looked beautiful, it was a hit!

So if your looking for a (golf club) alternative, look at whonnock lake, it has everything to hold an indoor or outdoor ceremony and reception!
