My wedding coordinator was shocked! - She said she'd never seen an ENTIRE cake consumed by the guests at a wedding. There is (infamously) always cake leftover. But not this cake! It was in high demand! Everyone loved it! We had lemon flavor with all white icing. I sent Westhampton photos of the décor I wanted and they followed that vision exactly (florals provided by our florist and cake-topper came from Etsy). We had no problems with delivery. Communication was good.

The cake was so pretty and so tasty! We did their flavors honey rum and raspberry- I was actually so disappointed at my wedding when they ran out of raspberry before I was able to get a piece of cake because it was my favorite when we did the tasting! They also made us a mini pumpkin spice cake for our elopement and even went the extra mile to decorate it the same way our wedding cake was supposed to be decorated. They were so great to work with and we were so happy with the results!

The cake we had from the Westhampton Pastry Shop was incredibly delicious. Their pricing was super competitive, and their team was incredibly effective at communication. They were super helpful throughout the entire process - from tasting, to choosing the right size, to drop off! We can't recommend them enough!

I chose Westhampton Pastry Shop because they had great cake and were budget friendly! My cake was delivered on time and was exactly the way I wanted it! We went in for a tasting and they let us sample every flavor they make! It was about 8 different flavors. I would 100% recommend them!

This bakery made the best wedding cake that we’ve ever had. Their service was top-notch from the tasting all the way through to the part where my wife smashed their delicious cake all over my face. You cannot go wrong with this time-tested Richmond staple.

Great experience with this bakery. Booked this bakery for a bridal shower. We wanted a “naked cake” which is oviously very popular these days because other bakeries gave me a obscene quote for said cake. Westhampton Pastry Shop’s price was very reasonable plus the cake looked and tasted great!! Cake was done on time & the employees were very professional. Would recommend this bakery to anyone!!

Not only was our cake GORGEOUS, but it tasted amazing too! The bakers at the shop really listen to get what your vision is. We combined two cake idea's to get the perfect cake. We've bought other special occasion cakes from this shop before and have always received top quality work. The shop is simple and not fancy, but the work is amazing. It's one of the last "true" bakeries in Richmond!!

We were searching for a bakery a little late in the process, and had trouble finding one that was available for my daughter's May 1 wedding. I suggested we check with Westhampton, since they'd done a wonderful job with my cake over 33 years ago. We were in the neighborhood, so didn't call ahead, and arrived only about 20 minutes before closing. The owner came out to talk to us when we said we wanted to schedule a tasting. She went into the back and returned with a tray of assorted flavors to taste, and they were all delicious, just as my cake was. The friendliness and service helped seal our decision (and the price was outstanding!). We were so happy and relieved that they were available for our May 1 wedding. And of course, everyone loved the cake. The owner's husband did the decorating, just as he did with mine. It turned out beautifully. I definitely recommend this classic Richmond bakery!
