Wendy’s was the second place I tried on dresses, and I was getting nervous through the appointment that I wouldn’t find a dress I loved. Thankfully, Sarah K was so helpful in the process and helped me figure out the style I was looking for. She brought me so many dresses to try on and after the last few, I knew I just wanted to keep going back to one of the others. She helped me get it, and my veil, ordered quickly since I was on a short timeline, and helped me facilitate my fittings. I did my alterations and steaming/pressing through Wendy’s as well, and I had no issues!!! It was a great experience. -

I began my career in bridal in 1989 on the encouragement of my mother. I knew quickly that this was something that I was going to do for a long time. Many trends and styles have changed over the years, but this one thing has not. I still feel honored and privileged everyday to be able to help brides as they plan one of the most important days of their lives. I am the mother of three beautiful grown daughters. In my personal time I love to garden with my husband, travel, enjoy nature, and be adventurous with cooking. I am a foodie and a wine enthusiast.
My passion for bridal started in 1989 when my extraordinarily talented mother became head of alterations here at Wendy's. She mentored me for three years as I tailored and learned textiles and fit for bridal. By the early 1990's I was working 1 on 1 with brides and styling them; I loved it. The privilege of helping a bride find the perfect gown for her big day is something I never lose sight of, and seeing her glow when she find the right dress never gets old. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 38 years. We have two terrific grown sons and two amazing daughter-in-laws. When I'm not working with brides my favorite things to do are playing with my four fun-loving grandchildren, spending time in nature with walks and dipping my toes in the sand. I thrive on my faith, music, good food, coffee and of course wine.
I am the wife and mother of three amazing kids that are now adults. I also have two wonderful fur babies that make me laugh every day. I have always been in sales since I was in high school and I love talking up the perfect product to anyone who will listen, (even total strangers at the grocery store). When I decided to enter the bridal industry I didn’t realize what an impact it would have on my life as well as the brides and their guests. There is nothing more satisfying to me than seeing the look on my brides face when they find their dream dress. Knowing that they will walk towards the love of their life in a dress that I helped them find is an amazing feeling. The tears, hugs, smiles and joy knowing that I had a little hand in this is pretty remarkable!
