We were so happy that we chose Wellington Strings for our Ceremony and Cocktail hour music. I worked mostly with Lerryn, who was extremely professional and quick to respond. They were a beautiful addition to the ceremony, and I wish that I could have enjoyed them more(I was a little busy that day :) They were very thorough with their song lists and emails to make sure they were well prepared. I was very happy that I chose them and hope to be able to attend a wedding soon to hear them play again!

Wellington Strings played at our wedding at South Branch Bar and Grill on August 15, 2015. Julia Birnbaum was a pleasure to work with when planning everything ahead of time. I chose not to arrange an in-person meeting with the group prior to the wedding as I felt the communication ahead of time was detailed enough. Many guests commented that the quartet was the highlight of our wedding ceremony. They even did a special arrangement for the song I used to walk down the aisle, as it was not a piece they normally had sheet music for. Additionally, they performed the song The Luckiest, by Ben Folds, with a pianist whom they had not previously worked with. The quality of their sound was beautiful, they were very professional and prompt, and I would highly recommend using Wellington Strings for any future events.

Julia from Wellington Strings performed solo violin for our wedding ceremony on 6/1/14. It was a partial outdoor facility and during her performance an unfortunate gust of wind knocked over her music stand. Julia did a great job continuing on after picking up the stand and really just played beautifully. We met her many months prior and she played a private demo for us, so we knew we were getting a quality performance. She coordinated with us in the weeks and months prior to the wedding to verify exactly what she was to play and when she was to play it. She showed up well ahead of time to set up, her rates are more than reasonable, and she can even bring amplification and/or a mic for the officiant if needed. We could not have been happier with her services and we can't imagine anyone being disappointed!

Our contact person with Wellington Strings is Julia and she was fantastic. Julia was very friendly, helpful, and available to answer questions as needed throughout the entire process. We received several compliments regarding the ceremony music. The musicians were all professional.

We worked with Julia from Wellington Strings to play at our wedding ceremony. Since it was a small venue we opted to go with a string duo; violinist (Julia) and a cellist. Julia was very responsive and helpful in the planning process. She gave us great guidance and recommendations for songs that would be in line with the feel for our ceremony but would also sound great for a duo to play, as some songs are really meant more for a quartet. They sounded absolutely beautiful and we received many compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend Wellington Strings!

Thank you Emanuel and Wellington Strings for providing such beautiful ceremony music for our wedding day! We are so lucky to be able to work with a wonderful group of musicians that truly helped add that extra bit of traditional to our ceremony that I was always hoping for.

Emanuel is great to work with, very detailed, passionate about his job, and always quick to respond. He helped guide me through a lot of the ceremony process as he presented various questions I was unaware to ask my church and pastor about. Without his guidance, we may have run into a few hiccups on the day of the wedding.

Not only was the music beautiful, it was a pleasure to work with such a great group of musicians!

We hired a violin/guitar duo from Wellington Strings for our wedding ceremony. We worked with Julia. Even though our first meeting to discuss music did not happen as planned, she quickly made it up by coming to our house the next day to play briefly and discuss music selections. We had some specific choices that we wanted played, mostly contemporary music. Some of the songs were on their list they provide, others weren't but she did respond back letting us know which songs they were able to do. Julia and Neal were our musicians. They showed up on time, were dressed appropriately and played beautifully. I have to say because I was behind the scenes for the prelude music, I was not able to hear much and for my bridal walk, I was an emotional mess. However, our guests at the reception said the music was wonderful at the ceremony and most of the comments we heard was about how they played Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns-N-Roses which was one of our selections for the prelude. People were blown away by that. Thank you Julia and Neal!

I worked with Julie at Wellington String Ensembles. We decided on using one violin and guitar for our ceremony. Even with just the two musicians the church was filled with their sound. They were punctual, and the music selection was easy. We also at the last minute needed a vocalist and they suggested Jody Schuth. She has a beautiful voice and they all worked together beautifully.

We want to start by saying the music for our wedding ceremony on August 3, 2013 was absolutely beautiful. That being said, we had some issues working with the organizer for Wellington Strings. From the beginning, she had an incorrect email address for us and once that was straightened out it was still difficult to communicate. There were times when emails went unanswered and when we tried to leave a voicemail, the box was full. We ended up having to send a text message to get in contact with her. Then, two weeks before the wedding, the organizer sent us an email asking us for information that had already been sent to her weeks before. We are very organized people and that added unnecessary stress leading up to the wedding. Finally, we paid for 3 musicians and only 2 showed up. The two who came left so quickly we couldn't even give them their tip and they never introduced themselves to anyone in the wedding party. We paid for an hour, but believe they were there for only 45 minutes. The most upsetting part was that there was no phone call or email waiting for us after we returned from our honeymoon apologizing for the missing musician. Perhaps our experience with Wellington Strings is unique and while the musicians are very talented and provided the music we asked for, we wouldn't recommend them in the future.
