Well-Dressed Events is a luxury full-service wedding planning studio serving New Jersey, New York City, and the Hudson Valley, with a primary hub in Jersey City, New Jersey. Founded and owned by Kristen Ligas, WDE works with couples who have high standards, full lives, and want to stay involved in their wedding without having to manage the entire process themselves.

Our signature planning experience, The Standard, covers the process from start to finish.

Every couple works with a dedicated lead planner who guides the planning from the first decisions through the wedding weekend, supported by the full Well-Dressed Events team behind the scenes and onsite.

We handle the work that keeps everything moving: building and managing the budget, sourcing vendors, confirming availability, gathering pricing, scheduling consultations, reviewing proposals and contracts, developing timelines and floor plans, managing guest logistics, and coordinating the full vendor team.

You make the decisions. We make sure you have the right information in front of you to make them, then take care of what happens next.

Creative direction is built into the planning experience as well. We help establish the overall visual direction, create a personalized lookbook, source rentals and décor, develop floor plans, review creative proposals, and work closely with the vendors bringing everything together.

The Standard is intentionally comprehensive. It gives our couples the access, direction, organization, and continuity we believe full-service wedding planning should provide, while keeping the experience personal to the way they actually want to plan.
