Well-Dressed Events is a full-service wedding and event planning studio based in Jersey City, NJ and Wilmington, NC. We plan stylish, personal celebrations across New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina—including Jersey City, Hoboken, Montclair, Short Hills, Manhattan, Wilmington, Raleigh, and Charlotte.

We offer three full-service planning experiences:

The Full Edit is for clients who want us to lead from the start. We manage timelines, vendors, design, logistics—everything. You make the big calls; we make them easy.

The Select is for clients who like to stay involved but want a structure that actually works. We provide planning tools, expert guidance, and full takeover when it’s go-time.

The Capsule (offered in NJ and NY only) is for couples getting married at full-service venues with on-site staff. We handle the planning—vendor vetting, timelines, design guidance—and hand off to your venue team for execution. It's smart, streamlined support that doesn’t double up.

We don’t offer day-of or partial planning. And that’s intentional. Our work goes deeper. You’ll never be handed a checklist and left to figure it out. We stay with you through every decision, every pivot, every moment that matters.

Our team is built to support yours. While most planning companies rely on one overwhelmed person juggling everything, we’re structured differently. Your lead planner is your guide, but behind them is a full internal team—creative, logistical, and administrative—keeping things thoughtful and moving. It's a model that gives you more clarity, more support, and better execution.

And when it comes to design, we don’t believe in pushing cookie-cutter packages or asking you to choose between ivory and ecru (unless you're an autumn—in which case, ecru. Obviously.). Design is included in every planning experience. If you want more hands-on creative help—like vision boards, rentals sourcing, or design add-ons—we’ll build it into your proposal. You already have taste. We help refine it, connect the dots, and make sure it runs smoothly.
