Based in the Northwestern suburbs of Illinois, Weekend Social is a wedding band that has filled countless dance floors all over the Chicago and suburban area. Band members Tim Flynn, Joe Szarek, Mark Evangelista, Jim Caiafa and Mari Scott believe in interacting with their audience for a personalized show. This talented group of musicians can play hits from past decades as well as today, and they strive to bring the party atmosphere with them wherever they play. Weekend Social can provide a 6 hour wedding or corporate reception block of music as well as music for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and even an after party tailoring the music to suit each individual stage. Unafraid of a challenge, this band can learn new songs if there is a must-have tune that they are not yet familiar with. Their professional DJ can also step in to keep the party going even when the band is taking a break so the fun doesn’t have to stop. These experienced musicians provide their own sound system and lighting to accentuate their shows and endeavor to coax everyone to join them on the dancefloor. Couples can avail of Weekend Social’s fog machine to add to the spectacle of their act. A projector is available so couples can display photos from throughout their relationship, or pictures of loved ones who were unable to be with them on their day.
