I became a wedding officiant because I love the meaning of weddings. They are a special day where loved ones gather around from near and far to celebrate a special and unique occurrence, it is simply amazing to be able to be a part of that. The ceremony is a central piece to the wedding, the words that are spoken and the promises that are made in front of so many witnesses is the binding contract that a couple makes. Making those words meaningful and personalized for each couple is something that I truly enjoy doing.
I am open to different beliefs, traditions and religions. I speak 5 languages and have performed various bilingual wedding ceremonies and ceremonies entirely in Spanish. I love embracing other cultures and ways of life, and find that this helps me to see things through other people's eyes. Generally, the ceremonies that I perform blend a lot of romantic sentiment with a touch of the light-hearted.
