To be honest, my husband did not want to hire Olga, nor any photographer to come to our destination wedding.. he thought it was a bit "extra". Needless to say, Olga came and before the weekend was over, hubby was singing a different tune.
Olga kept the party on time, moving along and was more than jsut a photographer. Olga was a planner, makeup artist, DJ, director and more.
Her photos speak for themselves- they are beautiful! My favorite part of looking through every photo is truly seeing my friends and family's personality. The memories, emotions- they were all captured so perfectly.
I have now used Olga for my boudoir photoshoot (totally recommend doing, btw!) our engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner, wedding week and have already booked her for our upcoming maternity and newborn shoots! The photos that she took of me and my husband together, are the most precious photos we have ever had together. I see them and still get all the feels that we were having that day. The emotion was captured and that, to me, was the most important.
With so many photographer options, we still feel the best about sticking with Olga. Her work is worth it all!-

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Olga is!!!!!!! I am extremely self conscious and insecure and Olga made me feel beautiful!!!!!! Our engagement photos were awesome and I can’t wait to see the wedding photos! She pays so much attention to the details that you want to remember and does an amazing job of focusing on what your strengths are! I just love her and she is forever our photographer!!! -

We are so lucky to have found her. Our life is captured so beautifully. I know I'll look back at these photos one day and be glad I took the time to do the shoots!!!

Sarah Married on 07/02/2011Olga is absolutely fantastic to work with! I loved her from the beginning! She has extremely competitive pricing, and the photos you get from her are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Know in advance you will only be getting photo discs, so if you need your photographer to give you prints, don't bother calling her.
I worked with Olga for both engagement photos and wedding photos. She knows what looks best in photos, and she will work with you to make sure you get your moneys worth. I ended up with almost 900 photos from my wedding day!!
Plan on meeting with Olga a few times. She likes to meet with the couple before committing to their wedding. Then she likes to stake out the photo locations so you can be efficient on your wedding day!
Since she is such a pro in the business, she has all sorts of suggestions for other vendors if you need help looking!
I plan on using Olga for all future portraits of my family! LOVE her!

User1191275 2+ years agoWe enjoyed working with Olga and as a couple we loved her personality. Her photos (at least our engagement photos...haven't seen the wedding ones yet) are good. She is not the most responsive vendor so if you are looking for a photographer that will shoot specific shots you saw on Pinterest, she may not be the one for you. I sent example pictures for our engagement shots and I don't think we ever referenced them. I didn't do that for the wedding because I didn't think it would matter. For us, we were more easy going on that end and it wasn't upsetting.
Our guests at the wedding were slightly put off by Olga's sometimes abrasive approach. My husband and I didn't take offense to it because we knew she had a job to do on a time crunch and if she wasn't assertive it would have taken forever. And in her defense, people did not listen all that well:)
Also, it will take a while to get your photos. I know that some photographers get them out very quickly, but Olga works alone and seems to shoot many weddings, therefore, expect to wait for many months. Our contract says 3 months, I believe she recently changed it to 4. I'm thinking they will be worth the wait.
Also, you get two CD's - one black and white and one color. The images are high quality and can be printed to a large size - very important! Be sure to ask you photographer about this! Many CD's you get can only print 8x10's clearly.
We were very happy with Olga, love her pictures, and enjoyed working with her. She is very professional the day of and shows up on time giving you your full 12 hours...yes, 12 hours!

From the beginning Olga has been steeped in the arts. Her father Lucian Faur, an accomplished graphic designer and painter, constantly encouraged artistic expression in the house. Her sister, Magda is a concert pianist and considered to be one of the premier pianists in her home country of Romania. From this background Olga was carved into a creative thinker and problem solver. After delving in several art-forms, Olga found her voice as a photojournalist. Seeking social relevance, Olga graduated from the School of Visual Arts in Bucharest, Romania and immediately began her career shooting for the national newspapers.
After starting a family and moving to the US, Olga has concentrated on elevating family and wedding photography. “Art is an abstraction of memories. We remember sweeping movement that triggers sound and smell and the like, and this is how I approach portraits. I try to create a space in which people can express their humanity and then I simply record it through a lens.”
Spanning the last 15 years, Olga has photographed over 500 weddings and thousands of families. In addition to shooting such a significant number of clients in the Milwaukee and Chicago area, she has found herself traveling to weddings, engagement sessions and family sessions in California, Colorado, Florida, New York, Mexico, Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic, Jamaica, India, Romania, Italy, France, England, Greece and Spain. She now splits her time between her two studios in San Juan, Puerto Rico & Milwaukee, Wisconsin focusing on destination weddings and bridal boudoir.
Her award winning photographs have been published in magazines such as: Time, Martha Stewart, and Wisconsin Bride. She has been on several national wedding blogs such as 100 Layers Cake, Bridal Musing, The Wedding Lady ,The Bride Link and The Wedding Community from UK.
Because of her extensive resume, Olga’s pricing is reflective of her level of expertise but still competitive for the wedding market.
